How many of you thought it appropriate for David and Piers to approve of the "sexy" way these little girls were dressed. Come on Ogling over the stripper is one thing but little girls?? At least they were covered tonight!

the problem and i think the reason is because of alot of artists these days are dressing wrose and worse and it is slowly becoming acceptable and besides they were teenagers and there body language was flirting with the both of them...

Being sexy is a positive comment, and besides, their apparel is that of other 16 and 17 year olds. It is "in" to dress like that at their age.

Actually I have to disagree with you, it isn't in anymore to dress the way they did. This year the "in" look is long tight fitting t-shirts and snug bermuda shorts. Still sexy but more covered up.

Shame on David and Piers for commenting on how "sexy" is a good look for underage girls. Aren't they supposed to be role models for these performers? Not to mention the fact that they're both old enough to be those kids' grandfather.

There was inappropriateness in abundance: the girls' dress, while it may be in line with the current MTV trend of oversexualization of all women, and especially that of young women, was, in fact, too "old" for 16 year olds - and tacky, to boot.
Added to that was the inappropriateness of the middle aged men drooling over the young girls (can you say "jail bait"?). C'mon - if either man had a 16 year old daughter, I am sure he would not want her oogled over the way they did over the girls.
Look back at Piers' comments re: All That's 2nd cosutmes: the costumes were great, he called them awful. The man has no idea, obviously.

I thought they acted like 2 year olds over the stripper, or very thirsty dogs, the way their tongues were hanging out, and totally inappropriate response to the teenage girls. Teenage girls should not be called sexy. I have noticed how so much is given to how the contestants dress, I've posted on this before with Piers, he is always mentioning their clothes, I thought they were being judged on talent, not costumes, but in their case, they should have worn something more age appropriate for them.

I didn't have a HUGE problem with the way the girls were dressed. They were cute, hip and the three matched up fairly well.
I have twin daughters of my own and they have tried more than once to dress a little "too sexy for their ages" and I'd check them about it and nine times out of ten they would tone it down a bit. Girls want the attention of guys and visual stimulation is the quickest and easiest way of getting it. Most young girls are not sure with all the mixed messages out there. Life is a place where it is a sin to be "fat" or "unattrative".
No one seeks approval and attention more than a teenage girl (fact)
Granted: Hot pants and spike heels = publics general perception of a hooker.
I am sure they didn't want to appear as "little girls" nor did they want to appear as "mature females" e.g. Liza Minneli, Barbara Streisand...But they did come off more as "teen girls on the prowl"....and that might not be in their best interests in this competition.
When teen idols are wearing thongs, with pouting lips, fake boobies and gyrating 2 feet from a video camera broadcasting into the homes of billions of people even I get confused

I agree with Brandy. If you're below the legal age of consent, you shouldn't be dressing provocatively.

They do have nice voices, and can sing.
They do need vocal training. They don't know how to sing together well.
They have done a much better job at dressing for performance and public appearance since leaving the show.
They are young, and obviously learning.
A lot in just a few short months it seems[i].
