Full Version: What Do Leonid and the Miller Brothers Have in Common?
NBC > Reality > America's Got Talent

OMG... I was horrified when I went on line to check out Leonid the Magnificent. Figured I'd find some cool website with lots of pics of Leonid in fun costumes, etc. What I found, though, was that he's performing with "Beacher's Madhouse" in Vegas AND... in that same lineup appears... LD Miller, child harmonica prodigy. As if that's not bad enough, the 12-year-old apparently also is one of the acts in a partial nudity review at the Sahara called "Buck Wild!". EEP!!!!!!! I'm not a prude by a long shot, but that just seems... wrong. And apparently he took Piers' advice and ditched his bro. Oh, well.

So that your not to horrified- Here are the facts: Yes, L.D. Miller has apearred on Beachers Mad house as a specialty act, 2x and paid good money to do so. He has appeared at other productions at other casinos as well. Beachers has all kinds of acts that do not relate to one another.
As for the Buck Wild show: He has headlined this show for almost a year. His act is last and has nothing to do with the rest of the show until he is on. Then its him alone . He has been shielded from the "partial nudity" that you refer to, in his dressing room.

As for the dumping of his brother: He's still with him. so Fuzzy he has done nothing bad like you try to make everyone think. Larry D. Miller (Dad)

Oh Larry, people like to play news media. You know what they don't know, they make it up. Pay not mind to those trashy comments. He seems like a very sweet young man I'd love to pinch his cheeks and make him smile. He's a cutie. ( Clarify... cheeks on his face. ) cool.gif

Your very kind. I realize a small percentage of people are like Fuzzy. I couldn't help myself, I had to reply to that message, with facts.

I for one am very glad you did respond. I am a parent, and have read many things over the past month about children entertainers and how people trash them. Good for you--keep on the boards--we need some truth to stop the bashers.

Lars, if you can get your boy out of Vegas...No I'm sorry I should not have said that.

I don't have a child in the industry, so I really have no idea the crossroads one must take to make it in the entertainment business.

I could see him more as an opening act for Kid Rock.....

now your talkin grasshoppa1 No just kidding it was his idea, and his mother and i back our sons at what ever they want to do in life. He loves his school and likes vegas. and the production has been good to him . But shortly we will be touring as a family again and he will have to leave.

WOW... sorry people thought I was "trashing" LD. I think he's a great performer and harmonica player. I was just stating facts. Facts that when I saw them gave me pause. No, I don't have a kid in the biz, but is Vegas the place for a 12-year-old? Not for me to decide, and I wasn't making a judgement call. As long as the boy's father is okay with it, that's fine by me. I was just a little shocked. I'm allowed to be shocked by facts - facts that his father upholds, by the way. So... I'm sorry if my personal reaction was misconstrued as some "MOTIVE" by folks, but it was merely that. A personal reaction. I didn't see Cole on the lineup with LD, so I figured LD was soloing it for the "Buck Wild" review. Good to know he hasn't struck out solely on his own, although there may come a day when that's in his best artistic interest, as Piers said. Sounds, though, like there's a strong family bond and it will keep the Millers ALL connected and together. That's a beautiful thing these days.

FuzzyLlama. I agree with you. Performing in Vegas and being in the same show with an adult act is no place for a 12 year old. It brings questions about the values of his family, putting show-business, money and fame above the moral well-being of their son. The company a person keeps is important. Rubbing shoulders with adult acts is no place for a 12 year old kid, even if he's being "protected" in his dressingroom. He's still in the same show in front of the same audience and benefiting financially from the adult acts in the show. To put a kid in that situation amounts to child abuse.

Duckman: One thing is missing in your therory about where L.D. and Cole perform, our family values and the rude accusation of CHILD ABUSE. - YOUR LACK OF RESEARCH.

Fuzzy thank you for your comments, By the Way Cole is also in the line up. and L.D. always has his Mother or Myself present at every show ( by the way this career they pursue is their idea Mom and I Back them 100%) Once again I am proud to be their father.

Child Abuse? That is ridiculous. Reactionaries can be so annoying at times. As Mr. Miller said, do your research before you make unfounded accusations.

Well now we all know where the judges hang out. Must of caught these acts at Beacher's Madhouse. I don't think any twelve year old should be performing in a casino.

Hey, Fuzzy
I just wanted to let you know how rediculous you now look, because of your "personal comments". You have already been corrected and you have aknowledged your error, which is all good, but I wanted to offer some advise, just too avoid things like this in the future. When you start to open your mouth, (or start typing), please make sure that your brain is engaged before you let you opinions be know in public. If you think that they are "personal opinions" then keep them personal, and don't share tham with the world. In the end, you may not appear to be such a fool. Not that you are a fool, but on this one, it certianly does appear that way. Save yourself from a lot of ridicule. Do yourself a favor (and us too) and just don't say anything. Yes, this is an open forum and you are entitled to voice you "opinions", but if they question someone's morals or their integrity, just do us all a favor and keep them to yourself. Thanks.

I would not worry about what duckman says. I have seen his name on alot of posts and he is very negative. I think he just uses the boards to relieve his anger. Maybe if people would stop replying to him he would find somewhere else to go.
