It's a shame how the judges handled this week's choice. Although I agree with the results, it was very obvious that the judges worried that their two picks (At Last and the gymnists) would not get through if they gave their choice on Wednesday's show. It was even more obvious when Hasselhoff had to preface the beginning of the results show by saying that NBC made the judges make their choice right after Wednesday's show, before the audience results were in....yeah right! This in light of the fact that Wednesday's show began with Regis' explanation that the judges give their choice on that night so that if the fans disagree, the fans can be sure to get in the person of their choosing. It was clear that the judges thought that At Last was the best last night (hence, Brandy and Hasselhoff's clear favor towards them) and that the gymnists were the second best (as Piers wanted them to definitely get through to provide some variety), but the judges worried that if they voted in At Last on Wednesday with the judges' choice, then the audience may have voted for the kid piano player or Bobby Badfingers. Therefore, the judges waited to see if At Last was the audiance choice, and when they were, they voted in the gymnists. I would bet anything that if the audience voted in the piano player or Bobby Badfingers, the judges' choice would have been At Last, NOT the gymnists. Very predictable, and very rigged. It's a shame.

I do believe David was lying about the producers rushing them and making them rush decide. And I do believe that the judges knew ahead of time that At Last was America's pick before they announced their own pick as Rialis. I don't know who it is that's crooked, but somebody needs to get fired before another god-awful season begins.
