ok i am not a frequent user but i just wanted people and leonid (if he even checks this) know that i was really offended both times at what one judge said about him being a christmas tree with the lights off. I thought he was cool and was unique, he had the nerve to belive in himself.
It is sad that people have to say hurtful things to make themselves feel better than others, frankly i was embarrased by the judge whatever his name is...Piers. I wanted to smack him. anyway i would love to meet leonid or talk to him, i think he would be a fun friend. too bad he is in n.y. any tips on how to get in touch with him????? any help would be appreciated!
thanks

leoinod reminds me of a cirque type act - he is good and interesting to watch - I enjoy both his personality and bravery to go on stage with that many viewers knowing how shallow americans are - for that he gets major kudos - however for a million dollar competition, I don't feel he has what it takes, again, I enjoy his performance and would go see him, but I don't think he has what it takes for this competition. Yes pierce is rude, however - so is Simon on AI, apparently that is how us americans feel - people seem to revel in venom tounges and nasty analogies, its a shame, but that is just how it is.

Leonid is indeed brave for standing up for himself. His act has its limitations (I would think it would go over big in Vegas), I agree. But the judges, and Piers in particular, ought to confine their comments to the act and not make personal attacks. I thought Piers' comments after Leonid's show were a new low in American TV.

I agree that his act probably belongs in Vegas and that he was not million Dollar worthy but that he has a good act.

Peirs's Comments about clothing on a lot of acts has been quite rude. Then again Brandi made a comment on Wed about N'versity and she is not getting any heat!

Personally I like Leonid. I think he is amusing and entertainging, and has been a freind since he first appeared on the show last year. He is a very nice and friendly guy. I dont believe that he should win the money of course, but I find him to be a truly unique act and he is fun to watch

I'm just amused that David and Piers have switched sides on Leonid. Now David can't stand him and Piers umm... "loves" him?

Leonid the Magnificent could easily become the poster boy for America's Got Talent. I am sure the producers would let hime come back and perform every season simply because he adds such a unique twist to the show. Despite the uneven "quality" of his acts, at least he's versatile.
I can guarantee you* for every 1 person that hates Leonid, there is probably 3-4 people that love him.
I do hope he pulls off something amazing in the next round (and I don't mean his clothes either).

*No I can't really "guarantee you" anything. It was just used for emphasis.

I have spoken with him on MySpace and he was very hurt by his treatment on AGT, especially after no-talent people like Kashif & Johnny Freakin' Lonesome went to the finals! He is a very sweet, gentle man and Hasselhoff should be cut from the show for his homophobia and sleazy behavior toward women!

About Leonid...

Last year I strongly felt that his act (and a couple others) were not suitable for prime time network television. His last act last year with him bent over with hoola hoops was disgusting for that particular medium.

Little kids in the audience were covering their eyes. They may have been what upset Hoff and why he wasn't receptive to him this year.

NOW. I have to admit that I thought Leonid's act, the one we got to see, wasn't great and it wasn't as skillful as others he had done, but I actually appreciated the theatical element of it. And I did "feel" it was suitable for prime time network television.

When the judges said to him this year of whether to take him as an entertainer or a "joke" and then booted, I have to admit that I thought that was a cruel and unnecessary comment. Especiallly in respect to what they did allow to go through to the top twenty.

Leonid is talented and has been professionaly trained in circus acts/acrobats.

For those who are fans of his, do a google search on him and find his site. He used to have a myspace page.

I read an interview online with Leonid and I was impressed. He's very intelligent and very aware.

I'm almost a fan now. In fact, if I ever get to Vegas and Leonid was featured somewhere, I'd make a point to catch a show. He gives it all he's got and I hope, if nothing else, he gets some excellent bookings due to the exposure he has gotten on TV. He's also been a guest on Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel ... and to me that isn't half bad.

Have you already gone to his Wikipedia webpage?

Besides Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel, he was invited to be the special guest star on Greece's Got Talent in March 2007.
