Does anyone know the name of the guy that played the piano and sang on the show the other night? He reminded me of a young John Maier and I can't remember his name. Anyone recall it? Is he a finalist?

His name is Teddy Geiger and he is promoting his album Underage Thinking.
He is a 17 year old singer-song writer with talent beyond his years.

Yep, Regis said that the show isn't only about finding new talent, but spot-lighting notable acts as well. So I'm sure we'll see more like this fellow as well.
