Full Version: Why REALIS Deserves the WIN
NBC > Reality > America's Got Talent
Syrenn
Realis is a group that has spent YEARS perfecting their craft. Seriously, have you looked at the guns on those two? They are truly talented. Did you notice that they were the group that didn't "redo" their performance on Thursday night? These people have/are putting in the time. They are creating original entertainment, and they don't mess up.

Who really deserves this win? Arthur and Shanea do. biggrin.gif

(Don't you think it's time someone with daily discipline wins, rather than just someone who can perform a catchy cover song?)

Win or lose they would be perfect with Cirque du Soleil...

Worthy of a bump too. Good debate started by an acro nut. Nothing against acro nuts. tongue.gif

I agree but it seems audiences only like music.

Well like I said in here before. One of my worries is Realis will get the short end of the stick by the American Public because they will mostly only vote for things familure to them. they all listen the radio and dance(ed) at parties in their life so they are familure with that.

Acro stunts; very few have ever experienced. Cheer stunters can relate some though many of them have no clue what true disiplined "technical/progression" training is like. The talents needed and the disipline it takes to be a high level acro athlete are just not familure to the avg. person.

bumping up above more PBM's. One PBM Gripe thread on the front page is plenty.

It's really an unfair competition because you have people that are very talented in their field going against folks equally talented in another. I mean, every one of these finalists have a great deal of talent in their own respects. But how do you decide who's best?

It's true that the musicians have the most appeal. More marketability. But even with the ones on this show...they're kind of limited.

Bianca Ryan probably has the most marketability of all of them. But since she doesn't seem to be in the pop category, it may be rather difficult.

"The Millers" probably come in second. But again, not mainstream pop so who knows.

"Too Late" doesn't have a chance in my opinion 'cause the whole "boy band" thing has definately run it's course. What? "At Last" is their name? Whatever....

The yodeling chick...ummm....no chance. How many people actualy enjoy yodeling? 6?

"Realis". Yeah, definately talented, no question. But what do you do with them? Give them a theatre in Vegas or put 'em on tour with that Circus O'le...Circus Sole....Circus Del Sol...Circus of Ole...whatever that's called.

Who else is there?

*What America needs to remember is this isn't AI. These contestants aren't being given a contract, and "talent" does not always equal "marketability". We don't need to decide who could be better served, we just have to decide who serves better. biggrin.gif

This is truly a shameless bump that I can blame on the PBM phenomena right?
Unimog
just bringing some good points to consider back to the top
