Here too. I just read that they're expecting heavy rains over Orange county in the coming day, up to 9 inches in 8 hours through some of the canyons. These are some of the areas burned last Fall, and now they'll be mudslides waiting to happen. Emergency crews are already poised and ready. I hope it stays more dry down your way R.

well, about 5 last night it started raining... real light and not much to it.


then, around 9 or 10, it started raining really hard, the wind was howling, windows were shaking, things blowing around the street, parts falling off of trees... it was exciting. I hope this is the last of it for a while. hubby really needs to work.

it must have rained the 4 hrs I slept cause there are new puddles but we didn't get nearly anything like what the news said. I'm sure the bay areas got it much worse.

No, it wasn't too bad out here. Nothing like the other day. Now it's just windy.

yipppeeee we have a thunderstorm warning for county til 6 pm and a tornado watch. it just poured and its stopped and it's sunny right now but if you look south, the black heavy clouds are rolling back in.

With all these weather fronts moving through, I've got the sinus headache from Hell.

Supposed to be 41 and rainy today. Skies are kinda clear though.

I'm not exactly sure of the temperature here, but there's snow *everywhere*. There was pretty much a blizzard a couple nights ago & the snow is still sticking, due to the frigging freezing temperature. I think I'll take advantage of the snow & build a snowman & ooh, ride the sled too. If there's one good thing about snow, it brings out the inner kid in me .

It's actually quite nice out today, still cold but milder and the sun is out.

It's raining right now and it's 44 degrees but to me it feels like 63 since its been so cold lately.

Yeah the big melt I'll end up having 2 small ponds in two parts of the yard, then they will freeze over and get more snow over it i'm sure.

Good news is that recess can be outside when it is over 40 degrees at school

It snowed a lot more today, & there's at least two inches of snow, if not more. Here's hoping for a foot of snow!

It was rainy and very windy here last night. A lot of people in metro Atlanta are without power. It's a good thing I woke up in the middle of the night and noticed hubby's clock flashing or I might've slept in... *sigh* .

It's so freakin' windy here! My power went out, but it's obviously back on.. It's just really cold in the house right now, I have the heat on, but it'll take a bit.

We have a snow day today because of the weird weather we had last night. It was rainy and windy but then it started snowing and it got really really cold. Our power kept turning off and on and I could barely sleep. So I'm a little cranky and tired today.

I love how our local weather guy just rubs it in everyone's noses that we have better weather than everyone else.
