I think that whatever Michigan gets weather wise, Montreal gets a few days later, for we are expecting snow in the next day or two.

It's actually warm here today. 22 degrees with some sun.

Sunny, but lots of snow, and it's kinda cold. But the sun is heating things up.

We actually had a little snow overnight. They weren't really calling for it so it was unexpected. All of the bridges and overpasses were frozen over this morning though so there were a lot of accidents. Before my dad came home from the firestation this morning he said there had been at least 2 extractions called in (where they cut people out of their car) The main road beside my house looked like a parking lot both ways this morning because the traffic was so bad everywhere. It thankfully cleared up by the time I went to class at 9:30

It's sooooooooooo warm here today. It got up to 32 degrees! And it was sunny for most of the day.

Yay.

We're up to 23°.

The good news is that the 14" of snow we were supposed to get ended up being only 13.5".

A little Valentine's miracle.

I can see snow from my house. It snowed at about 1200ft, so, I just got home from work, I'm putting on warm clothes, throwing the kid and the dog in the car and we are going to start driving until we hit snow. I haven't touched snow in 10 years. I'm so excited. (I live in So. Cal, this is a big deal for me!)

the wind gusts picked up late this afternoon. It's so cold. The gusts are between 20-40 mph. Where did it come from??

Oh my gosh, it was so beautiful. Murph had a blast, and he slept like a baby on the way home. There was probably about 8 inches, and we found a campground in the hills where we were able to pull over and park and get out on the trails for a bit. It was the best!! I'll post pictures after dinner. Best Valentine's Day ever!!

Getting warmer...

That's like 20 minutes from my house. We were walking on the trail and I looked up and the sun was hitting the top of the mountain. The sky was pink on the way home, and we were driving back down to the valley and the twinkling lights of the city and the pink sky was so pretty.

It's been sunny here and slightly warmer today. It's nice to see the sun again!

The plants are starting to bloom, the trees are starting to grow, I'm starting to sneeze. Spring is just about here.

It's pictures like that that make it difficult for people to understand why I'm not so fond of snow.



It's finally starting to warm up here, (last Monday it never got above zero.) but that probably means more snow. ::shrugs:: Oh well, I'll take more snow over sub-zero weather any day. Especially if it means it will all melt in the next few weeks.

Well, it's warmer here today but it's very wet and gloomy.

I just typed a really long post and it got deleted because of the stupid weather & internet connection . Anyway, this is a gorgeous picture . I understand your feelings about snow, though. After having it for so long every year, it can get old.

We're under a tornado warning here (north metro Atlanta). The sirens went off, so we ran down to the basement. I can still hear the thunder upstairs. It's raining like crazy... coming from every direction really hard ( ). We barely made it back from the grocery store and had to run down here. We got drenched from running 10 feet from the car to the garage.

Rainy all day today but still a bunch of snow on the ground. I shoveled off the last bits of slushy ice off of the driveway.

I'm not sure about Officionada, but we're A-ok here in Alpharetta . I think she's about an hour east of here, which is where the storm was moving. It was pretty bad for about an hour, but it passed fairly quickly. We probably easily got a few inches..... of rain . We've been needing a good rain for a while, so I'm thankful for it .

Oh yeah, I forgot, Georgia has really been in a drought. So rain is good! We just don't want anyone to get hurt getting it.

It's going to be 56 degrees on Monday in NYc with rain.

Then from Tuesday on it will be in the 30's.

Another snow day. Our 6th.
