I am in PA 2 hours due east of Pittsburgh, near Blue Knob and today is humid, overcast and around 73°.
I want to wash the car & truck but as soon as I do i'm sure it will start sprinkling.

74!? Oh, you mean Fahrenheit. You had me worried for a sec - thought you might have been caught in the fires out there.
Come join the rest of the world in Celcius. You'd be about the same as Toronto today, 23-24. Highs reaching 29 tomorrow.
BTW: 74 Celcius is about 165 Fahrenheit.

Well we do tend to catch on fire a lot out here in California. But I'm with you, why the F aren't we on the metric system?!? What is it . . . us and Brazil? Even the English don't use the English system.

Imagine a world where water freezes at 0 degrees and boils at 100, a world filled with only having to multiply and divide by 10's!

It would also save me a lot of time at the beginning of each school year
not having to teach my science students the metric system
again.
24 degrees C sounds nice too.

It's so hot here. It feels like it's the 4th of July instead of Memorial Day. I've been outside for most of the afternoon planting flowers and then washing my car. It's about 90 out- and we haven't had rain in weeks. I'm pretty sure we'll have a drought this summer....

It is storming really badly right now. The thunder is loud and the lightning seems close. I'm debating if I should turn off my computer or not. The thing that really sucks is that I didnt' get to swim my laps today. I'm gonna go and marinate some chicken. haha.

I think a tree 50 feet from my window just got struck by lightning. I was outside in my hallway and saw a really bright flash right where I was looking, heard some VERY loud thunder and saw some kind of electrical sizzle. It was crazy.

I want to go check it out, but I dont' want to get struck, so I'll look later.

I like them too, but I didn't like this one because I couldn't go swimming. Anyways, it's done storming now and I grabbed a flashlight and tried to find where the lightning struck. I couldn't find it though.

It's just way too dark. I'll look again tomorrow.

gee, weather isn't so bad over here in socal. It was mid-70's today with a nice off-shore breeze, and hardly any clouds. All the marine layer was burned off by around 10am, so... yeah, it was a pretty nice day.

It just started raining here, too. Good, now I won't have to go down to the back yard to water the tomato plants.

And squash and zucchini.
Hopefully it will help to cool it off a little, then maybe I'll plant the rest of my flowers tomorrow.

No, no, don't get me wrong. I was rolling my eyes at the usual "accuracy" of the weather report. I've experienced ^^, and that's why we don't live east of the Rockies.

I would, indeed melt.

Oh that I can understand
For us it is with snow. They tell us we are getting nothing and we get like 3 inches. They tell us we are getting 3 inches we get nothing.

.. and do not even get me started on predicting hurricanes. ( and it seems it is going to be a big season for us, the currents have already brought us three tropical storms)
