Considering that Chili's has been featured so prominently in several Office episodes, I'm surprised I've never seen any type of promotional tie-in with the show and the actual restaurant chain. Does anyone know if they HAVE done that and I just missed it?
I go to my local Chili's quite regularly (they've got the best salsa!) so I'm sure I would have noticed.
I think they should promote the Awesome Blossom...with extra awesome! Or have a special drink named after Pam (after she got drunk at the Dundies).
Or if nothing else, they should at least feature a picture of The Office staff as one of their gift card designs!

I would love it if they did!!
But, I am just guessing, but I always thought that businesses paid money to have their product on a progam or movie. NBC and Chili's have already had contact with each other in order to get permission, location, etc. I would imagine that if both parties are willing they probably already have something in the works.
It is also possible that the Office is a little too 'on the edge' for them to be willing to promote it. (language, sexual content, ethnic references etc.)

Ever since we've seen this episode, this is the running joke with my husband and myself everytime we are drinking (which is actually quite often haha)
It seems like The Office does a lot of Chili's promotion "Chili's is the new golf course!" It would be interesting if Chili's did something back as well...

That would be neat if they somehow returned the favor and promoted "The Office". The show doesn't seem to be getting much promotion on the TV (yet)...it is more online promo, which is a great source for promotion. But yeah...maybe Chili's sponsors them a lot and so "The Office" mentions them a lot?
I like the gift card idea, though!
Oh, and I finally couldn't resist not downloading an "Office" episode, so I downloaded 'The Dundies'! I had heard about all the jokes, Pam getting drunk and kissing Jim and I just couldn't help it...it was great.
