Between the two young singers, Bianca Ryan & Caitlyn Taylor Love, I totally thought Caitlyn Taylor Love had the better voice. I don't see what the hype is about Bianca Ryan. She seems like a sweet kid, but she just screams her song! At least Caitlyn SINGS, and has a very nice sounding voice. Anyone agree?? I'm voting for Caitlyn!

Caitlyn Love sounded 10 times better than Bianca did tonight! Bianca was screaming through the whole song, trying to change a country song into a rock song! She might be sweet but Caitlyn is ALOT better! :)

that isnt a country soung janis joplin is rock she is in the rock and roll hall of fame. so before you should think before you post. And it doesent you ar ea music fanatic to not know janis joplin is rock.

I agree, so why did Piers give Caitlyn an X? They are totally trying to shape the competition. That sucks. I think they (the judges) think they've already gone out on a limb w/ Bianca and hyped her so much, whereas Caitlyn just sort of showed up out of nowhere, and they downplayed her so as to not give any competition to their favorite, Bianca. That ain't right. I don't know what's going on, but it doesn't seem right to me. I just voted for that little one, Caitlyn, though, for whatever that's worth.

Well to be honest, I think Bianca was trying to emulate Janice Joplin who was the QUEEN OF SCREAM in her day. Never have been a Joplin fan, so hence, didn't like Bianca's performance either.

Maybe we should all try to see past the singers. There's other great talent here.

Yes, I am a music fanatic, but most of what I listen to IS country! There is a version of Piece of my Heart by Faith Hill! So Janis Joplin isn't the only person who sings that song.

But janis Joplin made the song so it will always be rock and roll so stop calling it a country song. And plus listen to the janis joplin version and u will understand why she was screaming.

I agreed with what Piers told Bianca - something along the lines of "You're not Janis - you're Bianca, so BE Bianca!" I think she did a fantastic job emulating Janis Joplin!!!! But....she's not Janis, and there never will be another one. Her signature was the "screaming" intense, raw emotion she put into her music. I thought both little girls did very well.

i found an interesting article on entertainment weekly...

after the first set of semi final acts brandy was interviewed by entertainment weekly...she was asked about the performers and she mentioned that another little girl, jessica sanchez didn't get to perform because she was outvoted and that there were 3 little girls singing on that show...

i say so what if there were 3, 5 or 7 little girls singing, if they had talent and were better than the other acts (i.e. the dog act) then why the hecke not allow her to sing? this is RIGGED!

Enough with the Bianca hype!!! Obviously the show is into child singers, especially Bianca, but their voices are not mature enough yet. We can hear it, the judges complain about it, so then why do they still put them through?
YOU CAN'T TELL ME THERE'S NOTHING SUSPICIOUS GOING ON HERE!!!! I know there are a lot of other talents that have not been featured, not even ONCE!!! LET THEM THROUGH SO WE CAN SEE WHAT THEY'VE GOT!!!

That is where you are wrong though. It was turned from a Rock N' Roll song to a Country song by Faith Hill, so technically, there IS a Country version of it...so it kind of IS a Country song, too - but originated from a Rock one.

The AGT producers made Bianca take down her discussion boards on her website as long as she's on the show (see http://www.biancaryan.com). I wonder what's the dividing line between message boards and what CT has up at her site?
