I am in utter amazement and disbelief that the judges voted this person thru. Sure there were several mediocre talent performances tonight, but this was definately one that SHOULD NOT have made it. Bianca Ryan blew it with her poor song choice, otherwise the judges would have voted her into the finals instead.

Rapping Granny nice novelty act, but not a million $$ act. Bianca was not as good as her first time on. That noisey bunch of guys Ten 13. What a bunch of loosers. Could not understand one word they said. Everyone seamed to be working a differnet music piece. Had to go with Nathon.

It sure shocked me when the judges picked Rappin Granny. I thought Granny was pretty funny for a 73 year old, but there was some *real* talent that should have been picked to go on to the finals.

This show is pure BS, when they put that no talent through. The only talent on there tonight was Bianca and the second magician. Now one of them wont even get a chance. The whole judges panel are A___holes, they dont have any talent to begin with so they are not qualified to judge.

This proves that this show is as phony as a three dollar bill, there were far more talented people on this show tonight and it is really sad that none of those people were given a real chance to move on. The Rappin Granny is a total joke! I also think I might be the only one that loved Bianca's choice of music tonight, because I saw Janis Joplin in concert, and she is right up there! I know Janis would be more than proud of this little lady. I am sure Bianca will move on, but others won't because of the absolutely poor decision by the judges. One final note, as I feel that this show has become so lame, I won't be watching it anymore, so good luck to the really talented people that might actually get through.

I think Rapping Granny is very good, and even though I am not a fan of rap, I believe she is amazingly talented. Here are the comments from the four 16 to 21 year olds who watched the show with me.

Notice how hard they are on the people with actual talent -critizing their voice, clothes, song choice etc. They are making children cry. But they let a 72 year old granny I can barely understand a word she says, in and awful red dress, just cruise through - JUST PLAIN WRONG!!!

This show is supposed to be looking for the most talented person in America. That person would be someone I would be willing to PAY to see them perform. Rappin' Granny? No way. Not only would I NOT pay to see her perform, I don't even listen to her when she's on the show. I turn the sound down. That should tell you something. The magician who transported himself into the audience tonight was fantastic. And every one of the acts that was on tonight was more entertaining than Granny. Yes, she's old, and yes, she's different... however, that does not make her an instant winner in a competition like this. Judges, get serious. You're there to help pick the Most Talented Person In America ... so please, do it!

Contrary to what the judges are trying to push, "Rappin" (if you can actually call it that) Granny is a gimmick. The person who wins this competition should be someone who could travel around the country and sell out shows. This lady could fill a local Amvets at the most. Whoever said she was the next William Hung was spot on. The novelty has already worn off and one very talented magician is getting the shaft because of it. Why is it all the non-musical acts have no chance on this show? Hope they have a wildcard because it is not right to lose both Bianca and the magician.

I am in awe with what went down tonight. I have lost total respect for NBC, David, Brandy and Pierce. This show and the judges are a complete joke for putting this act through. I am amazed at the jerk judges - just look at all the talent in the world and on this show- it is like "Where's the Beef" (old) It will be gone to tommorw - Bianca Ryan may not have picked the best song tonight, but give the girl a break - she is 11 and she CAN sing rings around even those on American Idol!!! The judges and the show totally lost all validity and credibility tonight when The Rapping Granny was picked to go through to the next round. Granted she was entertaining and would be great at a family reunion after a few drinks - but a million dollar talent??? No way. Bianca was by far the best talent inspite of a poor choice of songs (oh - and Piers - a big song is not one where the vocalists screams the whole time - it's one that is hard to sing). I've lost interest in the show due to the lack of good judgement by the judges. Brandy - what a huge disapointment as you are a vocalist and should be able to recognize and respect another good vocalist (Bianca).

This is the night I stop watching this show. Unreal. Very disgusted that they even gave rapping granny a second chance. Sure it's funny but not talent. Maybe the song Bianca sang wasn't the best choice but she was better then rapping granny. The b-ball acrobats and the magician were great.

Thought the judges decided last week to put more diverse acts in their show. It is mostly musical acts. America can rap, yodel, sing, play the harmonica and then the real talent Realis. That takes skill and practice and dedication and health insurance.

Holy Crap Batman...... I have a 73 year old juggling magician that uses pre-teen singing assistants that dunk basketballs while balancing on stilts. Only problem is he can't rap worth ****. Guess he wouldn't make the cut. The judges don't have the balls to tell the really lame acts they suck and then two face the good acts by praising their performance then selecting rapping granny over them. It's obvious that the "Hoffman" has been hit by too many ocean waves, Brandy thinks that she is Gods gift to music and the Britt ...well I don't even want to get started. Run Regis run....save yourself.

I agree with you about rappin' granny..... but I happen to know the inside information on Bianca's song choice tonight. She was given a choice of 3 songs to practice for tonight's performance but when it came time to sing, she was told to sing a Janice Joplin song that she was not familiar with at all. Sounds like they've got it in for her already.

A panel of three trained monkeys could have made a better decision on which act had talent. The judges not only proved their only taste is in their mouth but that they have their heads so far up their arses they need plexiglass to see out their belly button. The sponsors of this show should be boycotted, as well as this show, since these so called judges have decided to make a mockery of this show and its premise of finding true talent in America. This was the most outragous, idiotic, moronic decision anybody could make, voting to pass on to the final round an act that is only appealing to .1% of the viewing audience. Now, these three judges-Hasselhof, Brandi, Piers, have made complete and utter fools of themselves, they are no longer even qualified to judge a contest to see who has the biggest boil on their arse.

My husband & I agree that the Rappin Granny is not that great. We have a DVR and we fast forward thru her when she came on b/c we did not like her the first time and we feel that there is soooo much more talent on that stage tonight than her. I think the judges are blind and did not vote the right person in. She is cute and seems like a sweet grandmother but I don't want her to win. If she does than all the time we spent watch the show was wasted

I have not heard anyone mention the basketball acrobats. We thought they were pretty amazing and I am not a basketball fan. The violinist was spectacular also. Everyone is going gaga over Bianca but she blew it. Other acts blew it and they got X' ed. Yes her 1st try was AWESOME, but she blew the semi finals. RAPPIN GRANNY? How the heck did this one make it? You cannot tell me she was better than the basketball acrobats, or the magicians, or the singers, or the rock band. Kenny the juggler was better than she was! My daughters and I looked forward to the evenings when America's Got Talent was on. It was one of the few shows on primetime that I let them watch. Unfortunately after tonight's show, I know we will no longer be watching it. I don't understand how 3 "professionals" in the entertainment industry could seriously choose "Rappin Granny" as a contender for 1 million dollars. Their decision to choose her was not only riduculous, but insulting.

I read a newspaper article yesterday that said she'd be singing that song. how long ago was that decided?

Ok, so here is the deal. The show is a lot of fun to watch. The variety of acts is entertaining, both the mediocre and the truly gifted. But the judging aspect of this show is a fright! I couldn't beleive the first week when they put the brothers through, one who can kinda sorta sing while the other gyrates all over the place with a harmonica. Then the second week I was ok with their choices. Now this week is just the most pathetic display of poor judgement I have ever seen on a reality show. Rappin Granny appears to be a sweet ole gal, but talented? Nooooooooo Wayyyyyyyyy! The magicians and the Dunking Group were far more talented and entertaining. And Three or four other acts had more going for them than Granny.

The judges comments indicate:

They do not see ACTUAL talent.
They appear to have no experience in giving feedback to others in a constructive, honest manner.
They do not have good chemistry amongst the three of them.
They are not pulling off the Randy-Paula-Simon routine at all, though it appears the producers are trying to have them try.
They say one thing to one act and then the opposite to others.
They themselves are more annoying than entertaining.

There are other things I could put in this list, but you get my point.....I REALLY LOVE the CONCEPT of a variety competition, but the judging aspect of this show is soooooo sad.

Maybe they should try:
Having multiple winners within multiple categories-Movement Routines-Vocalist (Solo and Group)-Novelty/Comedy-etc. I am afraid America will give up watching what could be a really fun show if they don't get a handle on the judging...even if they just have the judges offer their worthless comments and then let AMERICA vote the top THREE acts through each week it would be better.....

It is very obvious the only taste you have girl, is in your mouth. The whole premise of the show is to find the best talent in America. Which means what is accepted and appreciated by the majority of the American viewing audience not the .1% that can only appreciate talking to a beat.

It's difficult to believe that these judges have ever seen anything but singers in their lives.

1. Rappin' Granny is a joke, and confirms that this show is a joke.

2. The Acrodunkers, or whatever they're called. Guys like these have been a basketball half-time novelty for years. I don't know of a college mascot that does NOT do half the stunts these guys do. Talent? Hardly.

3. Magicians? C'mon. Any "magicians" worth their oats call themselves illusionists anyway. The truly talented ones are the sleight-of-hand guys a la Blaine. There're just too many guys out there walking into boxes and making themselves "disappear".

4. Juggler. Anyone who has seen real juggling are laughing hysterically at this guy juggling three torches. Just go to youtube or video.google and search on "juggling". The you'll see some real talented jugglers.

Personally I'm rooting for Taylor Ware. I think she has simply got the most unique talent.

I really don't like this decision, and I'm sure most of you don't either. Team AcroDunk or one of the other top acts that were on tonight should have been selected. I think she'll get beat down by the other acts that are in the finals.

Couldnt have said it better myself. Piers complains about someone wavering when they are signing but praises someone that cannot sing at all? All she is doing is talking or yelling into a microphone. Does that take talent? Give me a break. To make a stupid remark like "I think you can win this competition" was absurd. My guess is that NBC does not promote a drug free workplace because I think there are 3 people sitting here as judges that are way over-due for a urinalysis.

I posted in another message string my thoughts on Rappin Granny's talent so I won't bore you by repeating it, but I will say something more personal. I just don't get it!

I watched the show with 5 other people, 2 of which actually enjoyed her act, while I sat there cringing. When I first watched it, I was slightly embarassed for her and then found I was alone in this opinion.

So recognizing that her "act" is just not entertaining to me, I figured I was just biased.

But to have the "professionals" actually conclude that she is more talented than the people she went up against floored me. I would have put her in the bottom three.

I felt the top three were Acrodunk, Biana and the magician. I could have quietly supported any 2 of the 3.

Their decision bothered me so much, I had to come to the message boards to find out if anyone agreed with me.

Thank goodness you are all out there....my sanity has been saved.
