I love what they have done with Pam. She is very real and relatable and I just love her character. Even though I'm questioning her sanity at having walked out with Michael Scott of all people, I understand to some degree why her character did that.
Pam has become a wonderful blend of old and New Beesly. She is still a caring and loving person. You see this alot with Michael-as she is his 'mother' on the show just as Jim is his 'father'-and as ridiculous as he can be, she sees that most of what he does is because he loves DM and his employees to a fault. The new parts of Pam-boldness, taking risks, confidence-have become part of old Pam. So I don't think that Pam is 'slipping back', just that part of her still exists(which I like because everyone has flaws)and her insecurities still come back every now and again.

I have to post. Mainly because they're my OTP of OTPs.
I have to say, that my a lot favorite Jim/Pam moments are the lines people like Michael (and other characters but mostly Michael) say.
For example, whenever Michael had relationship problems, and he did a little speech. Many times it refereed to him, but it almost always refereed to Jim & Pam. I just love how they always emphasized their importance to the show, as much as they could, even in such small, ways.

My favorite time that this happened was when Michael was talking about him and Holly and how great they are and he said, "like what you (Pam) and jim have times 100" that was really funny. I also love how the entire 4th season he kept forgetting Jim and Pam were together.

Note: This is not spoilerish at all for tonight's episode. In fact, it's supposed to have taken place before the wedding. It's from their wedding website.
I'm getting my wedding on!!!Who knew Jim was a whitey tighty kinda guy.

For some reason it won't let me watch that. It says "We're sorry but the clip you selected is not available from your location". I live in MD. Anyone else having problems seeing it?

Unless Jim and Pam Halpert get a spin off show this wont happen ever. The Office is about the office albeit they deviate from the office now and then. Jim and Pam are
a central storyline but it is not the leading storyline of the series. The Office itself is the storyline and the characters in the office are the supporting cast.
What makes The Office so good to me is that they attempt to include everyone maybe not in every episode as 22 broadcast minutes do not allow. But in the way the story is told, everyone has their time to shine.

Oh I understand that and I think the office is great but what i am asking is since they have been married they havent showed much love toward each other. That's all I am saying.

I get what you are saying w4. In the two episodes, there hasn't been much marital bliss: just anger (The Lover) and separation...not in the sense of divorce...(Koi Pond.) Where is the love that made the show before they got married??? When Pam has the baby...will they ever show it??? They made the marriage a part of the story. The writers, producers etc. have to show at least some of it.

Thats what I am afraid of. I hope they show it. I know the show isnt just about Pam & Jim but I would to see from time to time Romance between them. Like maybe there house after they decorated it and maybe liek f they have a baby room. IDK I hope they dont cut the story off with them.
P.S. One thing they need to have for a show is a Baby Shower at the office for them.

Their marriage has to carry some of the show at least from here out...hopefully a dozen more seasons.

But the other characters should not be neglected: lots can be done with them storyline and comedy wise.

I have a question that may have been covered already. At the end of season 3, during Pam's confessional, she said that she turned down Jim and then Jim turned down her. When did Jim turn down her in season 3??? I cannot seem to remember that scene/event. Was Pam taking Jim already dating Karen when he returned to Scranton as him turning her down??? Ifso...women, hummph.

There are two possible answers. Some people consider him turning down her offer to get coffee in The Merger as the turn down she's talking about. (Pam didn't know about Jim and Karen at the time, and it's not clear as to when exactly Jim and Karen's relationship had started.)
However, I'm inclined to believe that she means that he turned her down at Beach Games. She put her heart and soul on the line (much like he did on Casino Night) and he basically said that he couldn't. Pam doesn't blame Jim for not being able to, as she just chalks it all up to not getting the timing right.

I think it was at the Beach Games. I she did put it all out there, while she was in pain.

Jeez...she asks him to coffee one time and he has things to do, just getting back into town, and she chalks it up to being turned down. Dang!!! Now granted there was no mention of him and Karen yet, but still.
I don't remember him turning her down at Beach Games. I remember the speech and the flashback to their one on one during the season finale, but I musta missed that. I'll check it out.
Either way, Like I said...women hummph!!!
Kidding of course.

She doesn't need to...it's in every look.
I'm being starved of Season 6...can't seem to watch them on the web outside of US...so I'm making do with the synopses and the odd videoclip (this is what it must have been if you were a fan of Dynasty, say, in about 1985 and you were living in the pre Glasnost former Soviet Union).
I don't know therefore how FNB is developing this year, but I like her. I
want her to be a gifted artist (interesting deleted scenes about this: her New York sketchbook) not just a failed mature student in graphic art. My only concern about the pair of them is that whereas Jim seems fully developed as a person (i.e Jim aged 50 will be fundamentally the same as Jim now) Pam is still growing in some way...there's a restlessness there...getting drunk with students in NY...joining Michael in the Michael Scott Paper Company. If she truly is talented as an artist she might want something more at some point than living in Jim Halpert's parents' old house.
To put it another way, Pam is Elizabeth Bennett but Jim is Bingley, not Darcy.
Apologies to all if I have missed Season 6 developments that have made these comments out of date...and you're wondering why I don't know that Pam has run away with Angela to live on a commune and to run consciousness raising sessions in Des Moines.

Being turned down for coffee, is still being turned down.
As far as Beach Games goes. . . .
I think you're taking it a little too literally.

She expressed her regrets, but could not say more, because unlike Jim she wouldn't cross that line. Jim was with Karen. But by expressing her regrets, she lets him know that she's available and willing, should he want her. Since he didn't take that and run with it, by staying with Karen and basically telling that he didn't really come back to Scranton as the Jim they both once knew (thereby implying he was trying to be someone else, someone who wasn't in love with her), he was in a way turning her down.
The thing is, Pam wasn't upset or angry by it. She's just basically chalking it all up to bad timing. She was saying it was unfortunate. (And was answering the interviewer's question). She was by no means passing blame.
