The thing about Lucas's "abusiveness" is he is not verbally abusive towards Sami NOW and hasn't been since they got back together. And he sure as heck has never been physically abusive towards her. Most of his verbal attacks were brought on herself anyway, for things she did to him. None of that matters now anyway, b/c Lumi have forgiven each other for past transgressions. It irritates me to no end whenever I read "Lucas is abusive to Sami." Someone please show me where between all the kisses and hugs and planning their future that he has been abusive. Lucas isn't the one who manhandles Sami and wraps his fingers around her throat. Sorry but I'd take Lucas's brand of "abusive" over that of EJ's any day.

hey my lumily!! something interesting, i bought the movie pride and prejudice with keira knightly. something really jumped out to me. mr. darcy and elisabeth are so much like lumi when they were falling for each other. they fought it tooth and nail just like darcy and elisabeth did. but in the end, you just can't fight a chemistry like that!! wink.gif now i am addicted to this movie. i knew that i loved all of the other jane austin movies that they made into movies but this is by far my favorite!!!

It is rainy and COLD here today ... brr.. well, ok, cold for southern california in April ... my desk is right smack up against a window to the backyard, and it is so drafty! I had to go change into a sweater and jeans and actually put SOCKS on my fett! LOL I never wear socks. .. anyway, I'm back now ... I haven't seen pride and prejudice, or any of Jane Austin book turned movies, actually... I'm embarrassed to say that I haven't read them either.. they will definitely get spots on my list though... presently I have a stack half my height of books waiting to be read on my night stand alone.. I have been spendingtoo much time here ... lol

the two best are pride and prejudice and sense and sensibility. but i love all of her books. i have to admit i had never read pride and prejudice which actually made watching the movie even better cause i didn't know what was going to happen. if you get a chance you have to see it. and mr. darcy isn't bad ont he eyes either!! wink.gif

Grey's Anatomy was soo awesome, (and it wasn't a repeat) I'm so glad that George was there for Izzy..I was happy that Merideth is finally ackowledging the step-mom and noticing the difference in the caring of the different moms.. I missed about 10 minutes of it at the beginning, because some fricken moron, decided to make some threats regarding our university here.. He was calling the dickhead that did all the killings at VT, a HERO!!! mad.gif mad.gif They closed down the campus, they did find this guy in our state capital, in Carson City..

Oh, please someone do make a banner regarding etwit choking Sami.. please, please, please..

That doctor on GA, he has been in alot of movies too, anyone ever seen Robin Hood--Men in Tights.. He played the idiodic sheriff of loxly.. He reminds me to much of my ex-brother-in-law...

For once I think we've switched weather! It's finally sunny and warm here. Just waiting for my daughter to wake up and husband to come home so we can go to the park! I am so glad spring seems to have finally arrived here.

I love Jane Austen, read all of her books in college (I was an English major). They are quick reading though, I think they were sort of the soap operas of the 1800's!

Man, the rain is coming down pretty hard now .. they said this is going to be this worse rain storm of the season, but we'll see ... California tends to be overly dramatic about the weather ... my poor hubby is out working in it too .. sad.gif

I actually really enjoyed Kate and Phillip's scenes yesterday ,.. it was rather interesting the way Kate described EJ, wasn't it? And might I add that Phillip should smile more, cuz dayum, JKJ looks even MORE gorgeous when he smiles!!

Hey, is everyone playing the Elimination game? If not, you can only play once a day, but some folks are working hard to get rid of certain characters, I have to alternate defending Belle and Lucas, but y'all should get in there and play too! Fun for all wink.gif

Yea I go in my one time but they are work hard to get rid of lucas. He is down to 9 now. I really don't care anymore since I noticed that they change Lucas down by some time 3 points for the one before them. One day I worked really hard to correct when a bunch of us posted about the same time. Now I see it all the time they are correcting someone else. So go save Lucas , Lumi. wink.gif

Yeah, you just have to make sure that you don't try to vote when other people are in tehre, or the numbers get screwed up and they have to delete the posts.. there was an issue yesterday or the day before I guess, VF was telling me, that people were signing in with extra screen names to vote more than once, so the mods were deleting those ...

I play, aimee. Lucas is getting my plus votes, and He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named usually gets the minus votes. And sorry about your hubby. My hubby used to have to work out in the weather, and it suxed.

O/T, did anyone notice the chemistry between Izzy and George while he was putting her pants on after extracting bone marrow from her.. I taped it so I am rewatching it, and didn't realize until the second time around how much chemistry that they have..
