Acording to my science fair sheet I need to have a catchy title for my science fair project by tomorrow and I cant think of anything. My project is on the rate that different ice creams melt. (Of cource I have to choose a project that involves ben and jerrys)

I promise that this doesnt count as cheating because I asked my mom for the same question last time I did science fair.
Please help.

Okay, high school science teacher here. . . how about something like, the effect of (insert variable) on the rate of (measured effect) in Ben and Jerry's ice cream . . .
That's a bare bones title, you can spruce it up. Or you can use it as a subtitle, and find an attention grabbing main title. But trust me, science fair judges like INFORMATION. I didn't give you the variable and effect, because I'm a teacher, and I need to know you know what they are, (sorry, can't help myself tongue.gif ).

Hm, posts about deleted posts get deleted, too, huh? The rules of this place must really be long and hilarious.

Where are they, I can only find an FAQ that doesn't have any rules. I'd really like to read them, they must be spectacular.

Rule number 9: Do not post a message about posts of yours that were deleted for no reason.

Basic Netiquette--see page 2

Those are the basic "Netiquette" rules that Offiiconada has posted. They are the rules of conduct for our board. Other "rules" can be found throughout that topic, as many people have asked questions regarding conduct and what is "allowed." smile.gif

How am I supposed to learn the rules if they aren't explained?

The Netiquette Rules are general rules (common sense courtesy, actually) that should be followed in all online communication. However, there are also the Terms of Service, which I think Roy_Anderson is the only person who I recall admitting to being familiar with said rules. wink.gif However, EVERYONE agreed to these rules in order to open their user account here.

Oh, and then I guess I should also throw in these rules (brought to us by Jim Croce):

You don't tug on Superman's cape
You don't spit into the wind
You don't pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger
And you don't mess around with Jim...

I debated with myself whether or not to reply or not, but I am going to say my peace and then move on.

Firstly, the only posts I have deleted in the past week are the spammy Mountain Dew threads that were cropping up. All other posts that have disappeared have been filed away in The Permanent Misbehavior File for NBC to review (yes, I can do that).

Regarding Stankleberry's posts, I have filed those away because they were either derogatory and/or abusive towards other members of the forum and/or were flooding the boards with the same (false) information about the contents of a certain promo. Posting that information on one thread as a joke is one matter. Flooding the boards with the same message is simply inflammatory and will not be tolerated. Future posts on that theme will continue to go in the Special File.

P.S. Roy_Anderson - of COURSE - Melt Show is perfect! (Hitting myself on the head for not thinking of that myself!) I miss hearing that on Jenna's MySpace page.
