On www.theofficedvd.com, you can have Dwight call your friends with some outrageous lines. This is possibly the best phone prank/joke ever. I did it to all my Office-loving friends and family; I enojyed it, and they loved it! It's definitely worth a look, so check it out!
My personal favorite is "Big Order." Hahaha, these are tons of fun.
Enjoy!

I sent the t.p. one to my friend and today at school he goes "someone prank called me the other day. he was asking about toilet paper and stuff. I think it was andrew, he sounded just like a 40 year old guy though. he said his name was dwigt (i swear he said dwigt)."
It was so funny, espicially since he doesn't watch the show. It was so hard not to laugh!!!

As soon as I found out about this a couple weeks ago- I sent one to my friend who is going to college in NC- about 20 min after I sent in the request she calls me and was like "oh my gosh- Dwight just called me!" and I played it off by saying "really!!?- that is weird"- it went on like this for about 15 min- until I finally told her it was me- it was so funny!- and then she sent one to her dad later on

These have been making the rounds here at work. Sending a Dwight message to someone is far more fun than actually being productive! Plus, so many people are working on resumes - the message about the open position is hysterical.

I think this is so much funnier to do on people who don't watch the Office. I did the TP one to one of my sales reps in my office who is already wound pretty tight. I was following him around for a few mins waiting for the call, and he bit on it bad. I have probably sent about 30 of these out already, and I can't stop laughing thinking about an unsuspecting person getting a call from such a wierdo like Dwight. Shows how mature I really am.

I got my HR director sending these off to people and we are laughing out a$$es off today. People are so baffled about these calls. I can't help but think that such a thing would be a big hit at Dunder Mifflin when people feel like doing anything but whats in their job description. I encourage everyone to see how fun this thing really is, then post about it.

These are great! I sent all five to my Mom (who watches The Office a little). I sent them all late at night, but they don't call after 9 pm. Around 9 the next morning, I called her, and she answered the phone and said huffily "Oh, I thought you were Dwight again!" Apparently, when the first call came in, the second call beeped in because she has call waiting, so she had two Dwight calls at once. When she hung up, it happened again. It's great sending these to your own voice mail... if you're feeling an Office withdrawal, you can get a quick fix.

I think someone found theofficedvd.com site and put in my phone number, because I just got like 4 calls from their little "get a call from dwight" thing... weird.

I have a suspicion it's one of my roommates.

I love that your HR manager is doing it too! I like sending them to people at work during the night - then they get voicemail first thing in the morning. Laughter echoing from cubicle to cubicle is great!

About a month ago before I knew about these, I was working at my home office (which I do a lot due a very long commute) and I got the truancy call. OMG, I laughed so hard! It was one of my co-workers that is also a flan and he fessed up to it via IM pretty quickly.

Yeah, these are hilarious. I sent the paper order one to my co-worker who sits right next to me & hears all about my Office obsession. She orders our office supplies, so at first she was kinda confused, then she thought, "Wait a minute...Dwight...Dunder Mifflin???" It was funny!
Then I sent the resume one to my boss. She had heard us talking about the Office but hadn't watched it yet. She frantically started writing down Dwight's "message" until he started asking if she's in a wheelchair & then she freaked out & deleted it. Hahaha, so funny.
THEN I sent the truancy one to another co-worker who is always leaving work early, taking long lunches, disappearing in the middle of the day, etc. I still have no idea what she thought of it...come to think of it, I need to send it to her again...
I also sent the resume one to myself, and it just makes me laugh. Right there in the middle of the day I'll be checking my voice mail & all of a sudden Dwight's voice is on there. It's such a mood lifter.

OK i sent this to hubby who will get it at work. I am sure he will not find it very funny. He watches only because I hijack the HDtv when The Office is on. Though he says being on the messageboard does cut down on my internet shopping.
I sent one to my hubby on Friday. He did not find it funny, but I thought it was hliarious because for some reason, he never considered that I was the one who sent it to him! Who else would have???
(He's a huge office fan, just not a fan of needless calls, apparently....I think I'll send him another tomorrow....)

just got an email today from my friend out of state (i got her to watch the show and now she loves it). she says (and i quote):
"Oh. I forgot to tell you.. I got this weird phone call the other night. I don?t normally answer when it says unknown.. but I said ?hello? and it says Hello, this Dwight Shrute calling on be-half of Michael (whatever the last name is) for Dunder Mifflin paper products... I just hung up after that!! I thought to myself.. Dwight Shrute.. I don?t know anyone by that name.. then when it said Dunder Mifflin I knew!"
i laughed and laughed and then confessed that it was me. too funny!

Question. Is there no longer a way to get a call from Dwight (previous link ... www.theofficedvd.com/dwight)? Fact, it was awesome. Fact, you should still be able to get it somewhere from the internet. Question. Has anyone found another site that you can do it from.
I know this was a NBC marketing tool, and chances are it's been discontinued, but there is 1 more person I wanted to send one to. Thanks for the help.

Hello, I am looking for anyone that happens to have mp3s of the 5 calls that you could get from Dwight from the Season 2 DVD site. I need them for a project, so if anyone can help me, I would REALLY appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!
