Talking about superhero movies who else thought Spiderman 3 was the worst thing they could have made.
I totally agree.
The whole bad spidey thing was vomit-inducing for me.

mumford not that great IMO
spider man 3-worst summer blockbuster, but POTC3 is right behind it
I finished puddle cruisers, not a bad movie, not nearly as funny as super troopers but good. I've read they are making a sequel to super toopers. I'm so happy

I just saw License to Wed and surpringly really liked it! It had me laughing a lot of the time, and the more serious/dramatic/romantic parts were good too. The actors were great (especially John...me and my sister just kept being like "oooh he is so good looking"). Despite some poor reviews I read in the paper, I really enjoyed the movie. I thought it was cute! And I never believe those reviewers anyways...the ones in our paper usually hate the movies I end up loving.

Yeah, just about every paper that I've read gave LTW one star but ***** that, I'm not looking to watch some Oscar winning film. The reviews given to the majority of films are a joke anyway. These people seem to think that every film should have a deep meaning that makes you go, "Gee, that really made me think..." Um, no. I don't want to use my brain during the film. It already gets enough work as is

.
So yeah, I just finished Amelie. I thought it was a really cute foreign film. There's like this scene of all these people doing the nasty but besides that, I liked it a lot. They had some WTF moments but it was overall quite good & quite sweet. Good stuff.

I finished watching memoirs of a geisha. What can I say but wow. It's more visually stunning than anything, but I thought I'd have to stop it and watch it then stop it due to it's length, and I didn't I got hooked right away into the story. It at one point moved alittle slow but, everything around it was so amazing to look at.
If you've not rented it, I know it's a older movie now, but it's worth a rent. I really enjoyed every performance.
Don't hate me everyone but I'm not a Harry potter fan. I just couldn't never get into no matter how open minded I stayed or tried. To me he's harry pooter.

I wacthed that movie that Bjork made a few years ago. Dancer in the dark or something. It wasn't bad, just I hated the style that it was shot in. But I loved the story and bjork, not a bad actress really. I was surprised by her. It was just too jolty the camera movements, more so than moulin rouge or a episode of NYPD blue.

My hubby and I went to it on Saturday and we loved it. We're really big into action movies and Bruce Willis is a cool guy, so that helped too... there were a lot of funny moments and the kid that plays in it (forgot his name) cracked me up the whole time. We went Friday night. It was good for an action flick. Of course, there were a couple of the obligatory, stuntmanned, completely implausible sequences that make you giggle in their ridiculous-ness, but it was still good. For what it is. Definitely worth seeing. Unlike 1408, which I thought would be great like The Shining or something, but was .... not.

My husband and I giggled just at the previews!
I was really surprised that my sister thought Transformers was a great movie! On the other hand (I'm having a hard time even typing this), she is dreading seeing Harry Potter.

She hates everything to do with it. She has never read them, but is convinced they are stupid. Same with Lord of the Rings. She made up her mind to hate it, and she does. But the joke is on her: her new fiance is HP fanatic!

He was in Iraq when the last book came out, and begged her to send him a copy, but she wouldn't
because it was HP, so I bought it for him. That way she could still cling to her principles.
He's forcing her to go see the movie this weekend. Good for him!

My brother finally conviced him to watch "Half Baked" with me & I'm glad I did. Let me say that it's totally different compared to the other films I enjoy but despite that, it was frigging hilarious! Last night I finished watching Casino Royale. It's one of my favourite 007 films, easily. That final scene in the elevator always gets to me, even though I know it's coming everytime. Gah.
