I do that all the time. I have over 50 movies in the queue and I'm always adding more

But I thought it was really good- a little slow through the first part- but I liked it. I'm partial to BBC series anyway

It's the film festival here in montreal. My mom went last weekend, she usually goes every year and has always wanted to take us, so this weekend we're gonna go. There are SO many films, and a lot of them may ever get picked up, so you may not be able to see it again. There are films from all over the world. I hope we see a few good ones.

I just watched some silent films. My favorite was one called Rescued by Rove made in 1903 (I think). The dog--a collie type--was super cute and really smart. I think it was like the original idea of Lassie, I loved it!

with the orphans & nuns skating and the back history on all the skating weirdos.

Babel is an extraordinary film--I saw it with my mom and sister in the theater. I thought there was something missing that you didn't feel as connected to the characters as much or something, but the cinematography and editing and everything was fabulous. The same director did 21 grams (same editing style too) and I likes it better cause I found you could really relate more to the characters.
I hope you enjoyed you movies (Zodiac has two people who played in Carnivale--Clea DuVall and John Carroll Lynch--sorry, just had to add that

^^ Thank you for smoking was alright. Had it moments but not outstanding imo. Katie holmes and eckhart are flat together however. But you'll like the office pop ups by certain people.
I watched this horror flick, The rise of leslie vernon. Not scary. Was dull. I don't find the whole aspect of waiting to be scared the scary part. I thought it would be a throw back to 80's slashers.
I want to see Halloween today. Anyone here went to see it yet, let me know if you liked it.

I think that was intentional with
Babel. The disconnect communicated the disconnect between the characters, and their inability to communicate and all the resulting tragedies.

Anyone seen Hot Fuzz yet? It's definitely graphic and gory (not usually two things I go for) but this was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. Best parts:
"Decafinated?" (It's better than the Office's "His cappa was detated," line)
"Yarp. Narp."
"Look, it's Sanford's most wanted"
"Where did you get all these [guns]?" "I found 'em."
"Facist." "Hag."
"This really hurts" (while impaled on miniature church's steeple)
British comedy at its best.

Last night I watched Double Wedding for the forth time. Not only is it my favourite film, but it's one that I can never get sick of. Plus, it's impossible to go wrong with Myrna Loy & William Powell

. They're fantastic together. The final scene was an absolute classic, with that huge fight going on in Charlie's lodge. The best was when Margit knocked Charlie out with that palette. She had no clue

. I also loved the scene where Charlie was sleeping under the tree & Margit covered him with that branch(???). That was such a sweet gesture, despite her "hating" him. So cute

. However, nothing topped the part where Charlie revealed that he loved Margit & she kept going, "I beg your pardon." The ending always makes me so fuzzy on the inside

. Waldo was great, & I'm glad he got some yumph at the end hahaha. I can't wait to watch it again.

I saw this for a new movie coming up and thought it looked different. All 3 actors are on different spectrums(to me) and yet working together on this movie.
Hollywood stars
Nicole Kidman, Jack Black and Jennifer Jason Leigh moved in together during filming for new movie
Margot At The Wedding, because they wanted to perfect their roles as a dysfunctional family. The three actors lived in a house in the Hamptons area of New York while working on the
Noah Baumbach-directed drama earlier this year, and Kidman has fond memories of their time together. She says, "We all lived in this house in the Hamptons. Jennifer would cook breakfast on Sunday, and we'd all go to work Monday to Friday, and hang out on the weekend. Jack (Black) would play guitar. (And) we'd lie around in the bed, rehearsing. You don't make films like that right now - it's more a seventies way of making films."

A local movie theatre where I live provides loads of unintentional (I think) humour by the way it lists what it's showing. Listing one film above another can be very funny. Sorry, but this is the way my warped mind works....
