it looks slow. My mom likes will smith. I just have no interest. Even though john is in the hoilday for a second, i cant hide my dislike for jack black so i wont be going. I'd like to see letters from imojima(spelled wrong I'm sure) I'd actually like to see the final rocky. The movie might be bad, but I'd like to see rocky go out one last time.

I have a friend who hates Jack Black, but still really liked The Holiday. He is very, un-Jack Black, very toned down and doesn't have a huge role. I mean, he's in it, but believe me Jude Law's yumminess outshines him, alot!

jude law has nice eyes and charming smile...but still hes a geezer.lol I really did like closer though. but that was for the clive owen not the law. But im also guilty for watching anything with kevin spacey. I adore him. The preview for nic cages new movie doesnt look so bad, but his wigs are getting more and more elaborate.lol I cant get passed though his heavy breathing in all his movies. I want to see The Good Sheperd, maybe just because I like to see Matt Damon's face magnifed a thousand times twenty feet infront of my face.
But The Departed was sweet.
Deniro was on Leno last night and he was soooo boring! I thought he would be good, but he just looked like he didn't want to be there. I think Jay was intimidated by him or something.
I watche Hot Shots! last night. That movie is so bad, that it's kinda good.

Little Miss Sunshine is AWESOME!!! Steve, Toni Collette, and Greg Kinear and Alan Arkin were just phenomenal. And the little girl from Signs was very good as well. I know what I'm going to be buying with my Christmas money!! A
My Super Ex-Girlfriend was pretty cute. Definitely a chick flick though. Rainn was hilarious every time he was on screen. And Eddie Izzard was in it too which I hadn't known beforehand but it was so great to see him! So a very good cast and a very silly cute movie. B+ (it is a chick flick after all)
Talladega Nights was alright. The beginning was quite good but I don't know I got bored and started trying to find something else to do. Todd Packer was in it, and I was surprised to see that the gal that plays Katy is in it too. Will's sidekick was funny and it even had the guy who plays the tour guide on 30 Rock (and he was very funny in this one). But I have to give this movie a C because it just doesn't hold a candle to Anchorman or geez even Bewitched entertained me more than this movie!

I got Little Miss Sunshine from Netflix today and I thought it was pretty good. The chracters were all just great and of course Steve Carell rocked! A very unique movie!

Aww out of stock! My only version of the '87 movie (on video) was ruined over the summer after I accidentally dropped it on the tile floor and the inside broke- ruined my childhood memories

I've been trying to find a DVD version since then. The '93 version is good too.

That 1987 version of The Secret Garden used to creep me out! I was 7, only only watched the first 1/2-1hour at my friends. I distinctly remember never seeing the end. Anyway, the part when everyone dies of the plaque at the dinner table in India (I remember vividly) was so creepy. At least back then, I'm sure I'd be fine if I watched it now.

Maybe.
That friend also made me watch Through the Looking Glass- which also really scared me!! You know the TV movie one with the dragons.

Just got back from The Holiday. Way too loooonggg. What is wrong with filmakers these days that they need to drag things out? It was cute though, I'll give it that- just dragged.
That is why I go to the movie theater way less than I used, too. Prices, and the fact that I can't pause. Movies really need to keep my attention, or else I'm very picky.
Note to Hollywood- romantic comedies do not need to be over 2 hours. OK? Okay.
I finally saw Lollilove, too. I thought it was really good. Great job, Jenna Fisher. Had me laughing out loud at parts. James Gunn was hilarious.

Well for Christmas I got a ton of movies. I got a boxed set of classic comedies and I watched the movie "Stage Door" tonight. Really good movie- made in 1937 and has a bunch of stars in it before they were really famous (ex: Ann Miller, Lucille Ball, Eve Arden- and Katherine Hepburn and Ginger Rogers are in it also) Its a pretty dark comedy- but its really good. I definitely recommend it!

thats such a good movie. I like grand hotel. Same type of movie and i think there is a small movie like that called dinner at eight. A really good one as well is clark gable and loretta young(we all know what happened with those two) he plays a doctor and he loses a patient. it's sad.

I loved Slither (actually I love Nathan Fillion more). It's kind of a throwback to 80's horrors - and you really have to be a fan of them to appreciate it.
I just rented A Scanner Darkly and thought it was very interesting. I would recommend watching the bonus features first though. It tells the backstory on the author and has some good interviews with the cast - the movie made more sense to me after I watched them.

I also saw the Holiday, John was very Jim-like in that movie. Cute, but I think Diaz overacts. She is actually annoying and watching that movie all i thought about was her stale roles in Charlies stupid Angels and Something about Mary. I believe they could have chosen a different, more equipped actress to play Diaz's part.
A+ to Jude Law(gorgeous) and Jack Black.
Quite a change for Winslet.

All of Woody Allen's movies are overrated. I cannot fathom why people like them. My theory is that it's an "Emporer's new clothes" situation. Liking Woody Allen seems like the smart, trendy thing so people don't want to admit otherwise.
