Thanks for the link! It seems hardcore Woody Allen fans wrote those reviews, so I'm going to take them with a grain of salt! I'll probably pick it up when it gets a little cheaper. You're right, Hugh Jackman is as a good a reason as any to see it.

Lucas: Filming `Indiana Jones 4' in 2007 By ALICIA CHANG, Associated Press Writer
2 hours, 39 minutes ago
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - George Lucas said Friday that filming of the long-awaited "Indiana Jones" movie will begin next year.
Harrison Ford, who appeared in the three earlier flicks, the last one coming in 1989, is set to star again.
Lucas said he and Steven Spielberg recently finalized the script for the film.
"It's going to be fantastic. It's going to be the best one yet," the 62-year-old filmmaker said during a break from preparing for his duties as grand marshal of Monday's Rose Parade.
Exact film locations have not been decided yet, but Lucas said part of the movie will be shot in Los Angeles.
The fourth chapter of the "Indiana Jones" saga, which will hit theaters in May 2008, has been in development for over a decade with several screenwriters taking a crack at the script, but it only recently gained momentum.
Lucas kept mum about the plot, but said that the latest action flick will be a "character piece" that will include "very interesting mysteries."
"I think it's going to be really cool," Lucas said.
At the inaugural Rome Film Festival in October, the 64-year-old Ford said he was excited to team up with Lucas and Spielberg again for the fourth "Indiana Jones" installment. Ford said he was "fit to continue" to play the title role despite his age.
Ford played Indiana Jones in 1981's "Raiders of the Lost Ark," 1984's "Temple of Doom" and 1989's "The Last Crusade."
Lucas praised Ford for breathing life into his character.
"Mostly it's the charm of Harrison that makes it work," he said.

That poor little lady at the end cannot sing! I remember the first time I saw that commercial I laughed so hard.

Even better- I saw a new one today for "The Scooter Store" This little old man is sitting at his front window and his granddaughter comes up to say bye to him. He looks at her all sad and then watches her walk down the front path. His daughter notices he is sad so she calls the scooter store. The whole commercial was about getting one of those things so he could be happy and go outside with his granddaughter. The way they started out the commercial made it seem like he had alzheimer's or something and couldn't remember who his granddaughter was. (That was my impression and I felt sorry for him- until I realized what the commercial was really for) My mom and I laughed a good 5 minutes after seeing this commercial at lunch today.
Ok- back to your regularly scheduled movie thread

How about that Leo getting nominated twice in the same catagory, he is amazing!
Also, Will Smith getting nominated for best actor, he definitly deserved it, he was excellent in The Pursuit of Happyness.

Do you think Leo's two nods will cancel eachother out? Or does Will have it in the bag (I haven't seen it, but must admit that when I saw the previews, I got a huge lump in my throat and almost sobbed out loud!).
Eastwood also got two nominations, I think.
I'm still amazed at the 'rags to riches' Jennifer Hudson story. I remember her being on David Letterman doing the "America, what were you thinking?" countdown after she was ousted. Suck on that, AI voters! A Golden Globe and/or Oscar is so much better than American Idol status!
Kinda bummed that Little Miss Sunshine hasn't gotten broader category recognition.

I think that Leo will win for The Departed for all the hype that goes with it, after all it is a Martin Scorsese film. Will was amazing and you're right, the movie was very tear-jerking. However, it is a honor just to be nominated and sorry Will, but i don't think he will win.
An Oscar and Golden Globe is sooo much better then AI status! I totally agree. She must be on cloud nine right now.
I guess the Academy doesn'e really recognize Sundance films too much. Poor Little Miss Sunshine.

I'm still working my way through the Classic Comedies boxed set I got for Christmas. Tonight I watched
Libeled Lady and
To Be or Not To Be (has Jack Benny and Carole Lombard in it). The first one was really good and quite a bit of slapstick comedy. I would definitely recommend it. Plus it was one of Jean Harlow's last movies she made before she died. The second movie was a really dark comedy. It was made in 1942 during WWII but it focused around Nazism. It was a really good movie though- I really like dark comedy's. I still have 3 movies left in the boxed set;
Dinner at Eight (another Jean Harlow movie)
Bringing Up Baby (on of my favorites- with Katherine Hepburn and Cary Grant) and
The Philadelphia Story (Katherine Hepburn, Cary Grant and Jimmy Stewart-a really good classic, another favorite)

I also shared my thoughts on the 6th movie in the box,
Stage Door on the last page- another great, dark comedy.

I recently saw Casino Royale, the new installment to the James Bond 007 series.
I thought it was terrific. The plot was very adventorus and intriquing.
There were also some very quotable lines.
For Example..
"That last hand nearly killed me."
"Your gonna die, scratching my balls."
ETC. ETC.
All other Bond, were kinda boring and weren't exciting all the way through.
Also, Daniel Craig was very unexpected. Everyone had their doubts about him, blonde, wimpy, etc.
He really showed them.
Although Sean Connery is Bond, Daniel Craig is a close second, and he is signed up for two more.
Does anyone agree with Casino Royale being the best Bond film ever?

Similar note, has anyone seen the remake of Psycho with Vince Vaughn and Anne Heche? It was awful. They should have had Vincent D'Onofrio play Norman, he would have rocked the socks off that role.
