Tom is watching
Batman and Robin. I've never seen it, but seriously? Some of the worst dialogue I've ever heard.

Youh not sending me to da coolah!
Yeah, that one isn't even watchable in the Ed Wood so-bad-it's-funny way.
I picked up a few DVDs on payday --
The Simpsons Movie - Love it. Almost makes up for all the awful episodes I've seen in past few years.
Sicko - Saw it in the theater; I think it's my favorite Michael Moore film.
A Nightmare on Elm Street 2 disc special edition - I already own the Nightmare Boxed Set, but a few new docs and commentary meant I had to get this one too. I can't help myself. I own two copies of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and TCM 2 because I'm a sucker for DVD extras. God help me if another Dawn of the Dead SE comes out, I already spent 60 bucks on the 4 disc. Anyway, any reason to watch one of the most horrifying movies ever made one more time is a good one. You can scoff at the jokester Freddy in the later sequels who kill people by turning them into cockroaches, but Robert Englund is so creepy and unnerving in this one. The series started off so strong, it's a shame they fell into by the numbers cliched horror. Wes Craven's original outline for part 3 was to revolve around kids who would walk to a certain location and commit suicide, the only common link between them is their dreams about Freddy Krueger. That could've been a very groundbreaking horror film, but alas New Line Cinema wussed out and made Craven tone it down. Nightmare 3 is still pretty good though, if only for the line "Welcome to prime time, b*tch!".
Coincidentally, the later Nightmare sequels are fun to watch in the Ed Wood kinda way, and for their
rockin' soundtracks.
