I dunno, I have a small mouth that is hard to work in, I like to give him the benefit of the doubt. Though I know he wont be pleased when I go in on Tuesday and he sees that my temp has been shattered away. (But I'm going to counter with "I could have called you in to work on my mouth on New Years Eve, but I didn't because I'm nice ... so please be nice to me and my mouth" ... think it'll work?) unsure.gif

Yeah- that might work. Would have been better if it was Christmas eve instead wink.gif Just give him the big puppy dog eyes like your 6 again or something laugh.gif

I got the movie "Cars" off iTunes and I can't say it's the best movie PIXAR has made but it's still pretty good the animation alone was worth the money!
Fancy_New_Becca

Anyone have anything to say about Casino Royale?

Anyone have anything to say about Casino Royale?

i think earlier on in this very thread soem people were talking about casino royale (myself included wink.gif) but i can restate my opinion.

i really liked daniel craig, i thought he was really good, and i was kind of skeptical in the beginning cause i liked pierce brosnans more 'charming' james bond. But i really liked how daniel craig is different and more edgy. it was definatley more action packed and violent than the prior films.
Fechin
My Review for Bond:

Shaken or stirred? Do I look like I give a dam?

Bond...James Bond

I must admit I don't really think I've seen many Bond movies I saw a couple of the Bronson ones but never really thought they were great movies or anything just an action movie and not much more. So as you can tell from this I am not really a James Bond fan well that was true until I saw Casino Royale last night!

So I saw a 10:20 show last night I walked in right when the Paramount logo came on talk about good timing because I hate it if I even miss 10 seconds of a movie. I pretty much had the place to myself since only 2 other people were there as it was a late Sunday night show.

This ranks among the top action films I have ever seen I don't think it's the best but it's very high up there that's for sure.

I really enjoyed this movie and just very impressed since it is a Bond film after all and I was not a very big fan of them until now. Can't wait to see James Bond 22 coming in Fall 2008

Verdict: 9.5 out of 10

Loved the review Fechin.

I agree with you 100%, you too Whitest sneakers.
I thought Daniel Craig was marvelous, very captivation, and not to mention smoldering.
It was definitly moe action-packed and frankly, thats what American's love.

Verdict:
9.8 out of 10

P.S. I have to wait until Fall 2008! AWW man!

lol i nearly just did 13 posts without anybody posting inbetween

LOL

Here is a link to all my reviews if people are interested have I over 60: Link
JAM4NEVER
Fechin,
I think it is very cool to see and movie then read a review and find out what other people think about it. Thank you for posting that link.
It seems you give a lot of good ratings, I mean mostly 8 or 9 out of 10 for most.
I would have to disagree with you with Marie Antoinette.
I saw this movie in theaters and was only interested in the dresses and hair. The plot was poorly developed and I was confused as to what Coppola was trying to get across. There seemed to be a lot of shots of Dunst just staring into space. It seemed more like art than a movie and maybe it would be better off that way. I have to agree, the music was very good.
On the most part, I agree with you reviews, ecspecially Casino Royale.

P.S. How did you go about setting up this website with your reviews, I am intriqued.
Fechin
Well this year had a lot of good movie so I gave a lot of high ratings LOL. Another thing is I don't see movies that I don't think I'll really like so most of the time I don't come out disappointed most of the time.

Well what I did was every time I see a movie I just write the review in my xanga blog so I was like I did all this work so I should get it organized so I just went through my blog and started posting them on RT and it just became organized simple as that smile.gif.

I'm really glad RT has that because before if I wanted to see what I thought about a movie I had to dig through my blog and it took ages now I can just go to my ratings and see the score and link for the review if I need more info so RT really worked out well.

I think with Antoinette I just focused a lot more on the good than the bad with that movie I can say I disagree about the plot etc etc etc...

The only thing I don't like about RT is they don't have half ratings meaning if I rate a movie 9.5 I have to pick either 9 or 10 and that really bugs me because I use half ratings.

Right now I'm making a video blog of my top 10 movies of the year so I'll post it here when I'm done cool.gif

I just finished watching Little Miss Sunshine for the first time. Wow! Everyone was sooooo good. Steve Carell can just look sooo miserable and depressed. And I found myself just flat out roflma when Grandpa's little joke comes to light. laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif
JAM4NEVER
Fechin,
I am incredibly interested in reviewing movies....because I love them.
A couple questions:
What is RT? (I am not very technological)
Do many people view your blog?
Could you walk me through the steps? Ha, To mention again, I am really interested.
Thank you!
Fechin
Sure RT is RottenTomatoes.com in a nutshell is a review site.

Set up and account there and just feel your way around. Journal entries are where you do your reviews.

and yes people do look at them though they don't seem to leave comments.

I have 3,261 views on 64 entries which seems like a lot too me! 50 each on average.

Make an account look around and try and do a review and if you have an ?tions just let me know!
JAM4NEVER
Thank you soo much!
I am very excited!!!
I will let you know when it is up and running, so you can come visit it!
Thank you again!

No.

This past year was an awful movie year....
I can't remember the last time that I watched a movie and was impressed by the whole thing. Enough to make me have to buy it, anyway.

Little Miss Sunshine is on the top of my Netflix queue....and I need some serious recommendations to fill the rest of it.

"You are Jewish. But where are your horns?"
noahs
o i know all the lawsuits..

The frat boys sued complaining that they didnt know what the contract was for

Kazachstan sued~do i have to say why...

I agree with you. But, the makers of Borat were sued. For "offending" people I guess, what retards can't take a joke???

Those "retards," as you refer to them, are the people who were in the movie that were given false information about what was happening. They are suing, but won't win, because of character deflamation.
Fechin
Borat was funny when it tired to have a plot though it kinda sucked LOL

But there were some priceless moments in the film thats for sure.
JAM4NEVER
Ok, it looks like Borat is not a very good subject to talk about, so lets move on!

How about......
Wait, has anyone seen "The Prestige"?
I LOVE IT!
Fechin
I stayed away from the Prestige as I heard from some of my friends it was really good and some friends it was really lame so I am just waiting for it to come out on DVD to see it.
JAM4NEVER
I thought it was extremely interesting and Christian Bale and Hugh Jackman were fabulous.
I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
You should definitly rent it!
Fechin
Yeah I will I heard though "The Illusionist" was really good though that comes out on DVD soon I can't wait too see it!
JAM4NEVER
Yes, I would like to see "The Illustionist" too, its close to "The Prestige". Then I can compare, ugh I'm such a nerd.
Fechin
I can't wait too see Children of Men myself I hope to see it this weekend!
JAM4NEVER
That is the one with Clive Owen, correct?
That looks very good. He is underrated.
Fechin
Yeah it goes wide this weekend so I hope it gets into a theater near me!

He is underrated I agree.
JAM4NEVER
People like Hugh Jackman, sort of, take over Clive Owen's fame. I think people get confused which one is which. By people I mean Media Disabled people.
Fechin
Well I think Jackman is overrated LOL...If he did not have X-Men I don't think he would be nearly as big of a star.
JAM4NEVER
That is true. I remember recently he had 4 movies out in theaters, talk about money-crazy. He had Happy Feet, The Prestige, The Fountain, and Flushed Away. The result was 2 of them sinking.(The Fountaina dn Flushed Away.)
Fechin
Yeah but I mean how much does voice acting really count? Not many people go hey it's Jackmans voice I gotta see this LOL
JAM4NEVER
I know really. People say, Oh is Robin Williams voice, this should be funny. Or Will Smith's voice, he is hilarious.
Fechin
Yeah now Robin Williams voice now thats something to advertise!

I really want to see the new Rocky movie but I've yet to see it has anyone seen it yet?

I'm interested to hear John K.'s voice work in Shrek III. I think it's out in May?
Fechin
I did not even know John K. was in the new one yikes thanks for the heads up!

Yeah its May 18th...I've never been fond of these movies I think I'm one of the only ones.
Fancy_New_Becca
my friend and I have this thing we do called, who kills a movie? we talk about actors and actresses who really stink up a movie. and jackman is on her list and robin williams is on mine. She doesnt like michelle williams an heath ledger. I cant take movies with jack black or brittany murphy.
