I dunno BW I'm kinda dissapointed you only have up til July of 07 tongue.gif

laugh.gif I would have movies through the end of the year- but imdb.com only has openings listed by month through August (I don't think there are any movies that really caught my attention that are coming out in August) I have no idea when movies are opening after August of this year tongue.gif
Fechin
Check this out BW if you are looking for dates way into the future smile.gif

the book itself was very depressing but riveting and ANYTHING with Clive Owen, I am in line for *blushes*

I think I am going this weekend for Children of Men.

Last night I watched "Mostly Martha" a German film from a couple of years ago that isn't really in my top ten, but is a wonderful movie. I heard a rumour that it is being remade with Catherine Zeta Jones. Please see the German one first because it's great.
JaniceLynn
I rented The Last Kiss with Zach Braff over the weekend - not good! Totally unoriginal story of guy has girl, guy messes up and loses girl, then gets her back in the end... boring!
Fechin
Thanks for the warning HotGirl!
JAM4NEVER
I am also excited for may, three theeqels(is that teh right word?) in one month!
Shrek III
Pirates 3
and Spiderman 3<<<<SOO EXCITED!

Also June
OCEANS 13!! i love those movies!!!
Fechin
Yeah it's going to be a great summer a ton of movies are coming out!

I won't see Shrek 3 I'll just see Spider-Man agian or something.
JAM4NEVER
Is there anyone on this board, who is as excited as I am for Spidey 3? I have watched the trailer dozens of times!!! biggrin.gif

Here you go, so riveting!

http://www.ifilm.com/video/2783985

PUMPED!
Fechin
I'm not that pumped up for it right now but as May nears and no movies have been out in months you bet I'll be excited!
L&Owhore
I'm excited for Spiderman 3 and I haven't even seen Spiderman 1! I've only seen #2. But the trailer and the behind the scenes thing they show at the movie theatre before the previews makes me really want to see it.

I thought the trailer for the new Fantastic Four movie was lame. It was even more lame when they showed the preview for Spidey 3 right after it.

I am SOOOOO excited for Pirates 3 and Ocean's 13! The movie Happily n'Ever After also looks good. And Ratatooile (uh French spelling I'm having trouble with but just refer back to Bubblewrap's awesome list and you'll be able to figure it out biggrin.gif) looks so awesome, I could watch that trailer over and over again!
Fechin
I can't wait for Live Free or Die Hard myself the Teaser could not have been better also Ocean's 13 should rock the Teaser was good I think it will be a lot better than 12.

POTC:3 Should rock hardcore!
JAM4NEVER
I agree ADA,
I am very very very excited for Pirates, Spiderman and Ocean's 13. I think they are going to be the biggest blockbusters of the year! I plan to see them all on opening day, maybe even twice or three times, thats how excited I am!
Fechin
Also Potter and The Bourne Ultimatum should be great!

Anytime a new Potter movie comes out it's a good time to be alive LOL

07 for movies at least during the summer could not be better this year!

I am also excited for all 3 of those! Isn't John Krasinski a voice in Shrek 3? I thought I remembered reading that somewhere. Pirates 3...we get to figure out what the h*ll Barbosa is doing back. Spiderman 3....ugh, its Spiderman. 'Nuff said.
Fancy_New_Becca
I never did get into the first spiderman, but the second was so good and I want to see the 3rd but since none of my friends were really into it and my bf isnt either, i have to go alone. mad.gif Is there any news on the next batman? christian bale was so good, breathe some new life into that series
Fechin
Yeah it's a 07/18/2008

It's called Dark Knight
Tim_Halpert
Definitely want to see

Shrek the Third (First two were among the best animated movies ever)
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (Keith Richards playing Johnny Depp's papa? Gotta see that)
Spider-Man 3 (really curious about the Venom factor)
Transformers (I fear the worst, but hope for the best with this one)
Ocean's 13 (this had better be the last one, just make it a trilogy and end it already)
The Bourne Ultimatum (why Matt Damon isn't a bigger star than Ben Affleck, I'll never understand)

I'm sure there are more, but those stand out for me right now ...
Fancy_New_Becca
diaz can be good at times. I really did like her in In her shoes with toni collette but then again toni collette is just a amazing actress. Im not sure if timberlake will cross over well as a actor. but then again i didnt think 8 mile would be all that great and i was blown away.
Fechin
I think Damon passed up Affleck this year Damon was in 2 Oscar type films and I think rightly so Affleck has some catching up too do.

I totally agree, Damon is such a better actor than Affleck! I think that the attractive-factor comes into play here as far as fame, even though Affleck isn't handsome.
Poor Damon has been snubbed this year at the Oscars, why? I do not know.

Is anyone here a fan of the Bourne Series? (I'm raising my hand!)
JAM4NEVER
That's kinda besides the point.
Fechin
Well I don't think he should get any Oscars at least not this time around but this does start to put him on the map for the rest of his career as a serious actor.

The Bourne movies are great!

Yes I absolutely am!! I'm a huge fan of the Spiderman movies. Not so much the comics, but I love the movies! And I love Topher Grace. Can't wait to see him in it!

Mambo No 5 Yes, John's doing the voice of Sir Lancelot in Shrek the Third.

biggrin.gif Yes, I am very excited too.
Though there seems to be many story line in the third. The Venom, Harry as the Green Goblin after his dad, and the sand monster, plus the whole M.J and Peter thing! I am very interested to see how they incorperate everything into the movie!!

I love Toni Collete too! I just watched In Her Shoes again the other day, the scenes with Diaz are saved because they are always with either Toni or Shirley Maclain.

Matt Damon is both a much better actor and wwwwwaaaaaayyyyyyy hotter than Ben Affleck.

Muriel's Wedding

Actually I have not seen. It's one of those films my mom is crazy into and i'm crazy not into my mom so I refuse to watch the movie laugh.gif But I am starting to like her a lot now. Like I went to see In Her Shoes only because I heard she was in it. I paid 12 dollars to see it in the theatre without knowing anything about it but that. So I'll probably end up visiting some of her older stuff. I own a lot of her films, like About a Boy, Emma, Little Miss Sunshine, Sixth Sense, In Her Shoes.

oh office-holic those pics are so yummy, pure eye candy!

And OMG ADA go rent muriels wedding now!! It's so good. That and priscilla queen of the desert brought abba back.
berries, I'm so gald someone else has seen it, not alot of people know that movie. She paired nicely with griffiths. I always tear up at the end and just then die with laugther. The castle is another great small funny aussie movie and if you havent get priscilla queen of the desert. hugo weaving(the matrix-agent smith) guy pearce(la confindental) and terrance stamp(the limey) it's wonderful. as much as i love toni though i just didnt get into the velvet goldmine. Was alittle too much for me. honestly i was tired of seeing ewans man business in all his movieslol
Ana07
I just saw A Walk To Remember and i have to say it is a great movie! Im usually not really into chickflicky type movies but this one was great! So.....just great. Sappy but in a realistic and believable way.
Fancy_New_Becca
just saw a commerical for something called primeevil? I think thats what it was called. Im a sucker for a horror movie based on true events. sorta want to see it. i do like to be scared.
Fancy_New_Becca
a good rule i go by...anything with deniro or pacino is just something to avoid.
letsgotochilis
I heard the good sheapard sucks from multiple sources.
scranton_represent
The only good movies, in my opinion, that Pacino and Deniero have made is the GodFather.
Fancy_New_Becca
never seen the Godfather. I saw the opening of it but i got bored after that

Well that is it you guys. I am getting in my car and driving to Fairfield. I want to see the Holiday and I have had broken date after broken date to go see this movie. F it!! I'm going to it alone and I'm going to the one theatre I can find that still carries it!! I want to see the Holiday!!
Fancy_New_Becca
I must be one of few who doesnt really care about their movies anymore. They did have great movies to me back in the day but i dont think they fit so well into all of todays big budget types. But I think they are actors, not just making movies for box office results. But I'm not a drama type of movie goer. last drama i saw was The queen. my dvd collection is full of black and whites, and b movies and scary types.lol
JAM4NEVER
I am in agreement with Fechin and ADA on this one.
Pacino and Deniro make some of the best movies of our time. Thier presence alone in a movie blow people away,

And also are costly to cast in your moive, and that tells you something...
L&Owhore
I enjoyed The Holiday. Solid B+.

John's bit was like 2 minutes or less. And honestly, I wasn't impressed. It was like they took a scene from the office and photoshopped it into the movie. His delivery was the same as Jim's and he had the same expressions. I hope he isn't a one trick pony.

I usually hate Cameron Diaz but I loved her in this. Jude Law is a creep and ugly as I don't know what. Luckily he didn't distract from the rest of the film.

Kate Winslet was wonderful. She's such a great actress and so beautiful. Her story line with an elderly gentleman was amazing. Her love intrest was ugly though, ew. Jack Black ended up becoming her friend and then they had chemistry and that was great. He did very well and was quite charming in this film.

Now I have two films I plan on buying when the come out on DVD: Night at the Museum and The Holiday. So glad I had the balls to go to this movie alone!
L&Owhore
I can't wait to see the new Hugh Grant, Drew Berrymore movie Notes and Lyrics that comes out on Valentine's Day!

Also, I just saw a preview for a new Sandra Bullock movie that looks very interesting. I think it's called Premonition (sp?).

Saw the Good Shepherd yesterday. 6 words:

Big Fat Mess of a Movie.

I didn't know who was who or what was what. It involved the history of the CIA in simultaneous back and forward flashes somewhere during/after WWII and the assassination of JFK. Then there was something about the Bay of Pigs which may or may not have involved an informant that may or may not have been either Matt Damon, Alec Baldwin, Joe Pesci or William Hurt. For all I know Angelina Jolie was a spy. Then a woman was thrown out of an plane.

In conclusion: I could care less about the CIA or the FBI or counter-intelligence. All I know is I could never be in the CIA b/c I can't for the life of me keep a secret.

Not to mention, the shizzle was TOO LONG !!!

Terrible. F check minus minus.

Must admit that after I saw Silence of the Lambs I wanted to be an FBI agent.

Yes, I'd definitely recommend waiting for a cheap rental. Honestly, the acting was A+ and De Niro directed a good film. It was the length and plot and heavy blah blah blah material that kept droning on that I couldn't embrace. Maybe I was on the verge of pams-ing when I saw it.

This is basically my new rule to live by after the Shepherd disaster. I think I'm getting too old for deep, dramatic, serious films. Talledega Nights. Borat.
