Last night he made another appearance as Big Honkey Legs for everyone's favorite graphic designer, Pierre Bernard. (With matching big shoes!)

My question is this:
Do you think that "Late Night" will ever USE any of the ideas sent in by fans? Or is this just an attempt to get a running bit going and they really just burn all the letters in a giant incenerator used to power Stone Phillips?

LOL. They need to show us this incinerator on Late Night. They should really do a "What we do with the grub man costume letters" bit.

I had a hard time believing that was still it. I mean it was a basket last time... how the h.ell do you make giant leg coverings from a small basket?

I thought that too. Maybe they cut it apart and sewed it back together. Or maybe the way Joel was holding it made it look smaller than it really was.

Or maybe the honkey legs use for the costume was shot before the Meredith Vieira basket, and they showed them out of order in an attempt to trick us. Say it ain't so.

I want to know if they actually USE any of those ideas fans send in. The minute I saw Pierre last night I thought, "What are they DOING with all those ideas?"
Maybe they've all been really bad? Maybe they only made one button and Conan can't bear to part with it. Maybe they know that the genius of the writers could never be out done by pitiful fan ideas.

Dammit! I missed last night's show, but now I really can't wait to see the rerun. I want one of those "I'm a Conan cost cutter" pins.

At AST, B-Stack responded to the question of whether or not they've used any ideas that were sent in. Basically the answer is no.

"I really don't know if any sent-in 'Grub Man' ideas will ever end up on the show. Up until now we've only used that crappy costume for ideas that the staff has come up with. I don't know if anyone has even had time to look through any outside ideas. I hope someone has time to go through them one of these days."

I hope they use at least a couple ideas sent in by viewers. And the incinerator idea is funny too. But I didn't get a chance to write down the address. I want to send an idea in. Anyone know the address or if there is a link or email you can send it too?
