Oh yeah, last night they showed that Levis commercial where the guy and the girl walk the line, literally. I really, really like that commercial--I've seen the guy only version and the guy+girl version, but not the girl only version. And I don't even like Johnny Cash's voice, which I guess is why I like the cover versions so much.

I was thinking about how I couldn't stand that guy's crappy pseudo-German/Russian accented version of Walk the Line when that came on last night. Which leed me to think of this really weird video I saw on WebJunk where a guy sings a song about how his fingers are made of bananas in a heavy German accent. Because that's how my mind works...

I can't help it--he had some good songs and was obviously a gifted musician, but on the whole I can't say I'm a fan of the gravelly drawl. They showed the guy-only version of the commercial last night during the first commercial break. I haven't seen the movie yet, and I do admire J. Cash the man, just can't sit down and listen to his singing. Sorry! (BTW, is that guy singing in an accent in the commercial? I never noticed it before.)

I adore Johnny Cash! He is so amazing. That song "Hurt" is just unbelieveably amazing when he sings it.
My cousin and aunt told me yesterday that they dont like him and I nearly got out of the car and walked. (But then I realised we were moving very fast on a moterway and it would take a few hours to walk home so I didnt...
