Um, not sure this belongs in The Office threads ... probably better suited on the Passions board.

Can you please, and i mean pretty please bring the old passions back to the sci-fi channel or any other channel that you own. this would really mean alot to fans of the old episodes and could also bring in some new fans. for example, this is what happened with me and your show ER. i first started watching ER when it came on the fox channel in the afternoon on sundays. that was way back in '99 since then i have been watching ER. This could happen with passions as well if you give it a chance. i just don't believe that your reasons for taking it off the air were justified and it happened so abruptly and without notice. please show that you care about your fans and bring passions back to us.

I got it from a woman named Kathy who writes for GMMR. She posted the picture on the TwoP forums. I liked it, too!

I just love how Kelly just has her arms around Ryan. That's so her! (I'm guessing they're "in character" for the pic.)

I am sure there is a real good resean for cancelling passions, like nobody but you wathced it. I wont miss it. Maybe some of the actors can have a cameo on the office......oops, never mind, we don't want the office to be canceled too.

OK. Passions is most definitely NOT cancelled. It did run on the Sci Fi network a while back, but not any more. The Passions mod (aka "fantaprincess" - Office-holic, you are too funny! ), said we could keep this thread here since we're having so much fun with it!

Yeah, glad we get to keep it...you know you're having Office withdrawal when this thread makes you laugh. And makes you wonder just what Passions is really like and what else is on the SciFi channel?...

I didn't know where else to put this so thought this might be a good place.

I do not understand why all of the newest news about the show goes to Office Tally first. Almost every promotion gets posted there first. The latest of what I feel to be a slap in the face to the readers here is the announcement of new merchandise and a 5% discount to Office Tally readers. Sure, anyone fan be an OT reader and go and get the discount, but why do we have to go there to get the latest news and promotions on an NBC product when we are the home message board for the show and the NBC logo and the lovely peacock is at the top of the page?

I'm steamed about this. Where's that skampy woman? How do I contact her?

Wow! I didn't know about all those promotions! I'm in contact with skampy several times a week and will see what I can find out about the chances of a little more love for the Flans who post here...

Thanks big O. It is quite hurtful on some level. I've taken to checking in at OT every day and I don't know why we should have to do that nor do I understand why the readers there get preferential treatment.

Doesn't most of the stuff that comes in over at OT come through posters, or people passing on links and info. to Tanster? It's true that she has developed a relationship with the show, had a tour of the studio, etc. Perhaps she asked for the merchandising deal?

Tanster deserves credit for what she's done, certainly. I don't dispute that.

While taking nothing away from her, she does seem to have little use for this board. I posted congrats on OT to Jenna Fischer for her Emmy nomination on behalf of all of us here, and the post was immediately deleted. I complained, but never received an explanation (or an apology) for the deletion , even though the post was restored some time later.

The bigger question is: why doesn't NBC do this themselves, and use their own boards for the purpose? Why not give a little something to the folks who use your own facility, instead of outside? (Sure, being Canadian means I'll never see anything of it, but I'm asking on behalf of all boarders here) And why don't the cast members even admit to knowing that this board exists at all? Do they not know or is there an agenda somewhere???

I think someone in NBC's Promotions or Viewer Relations departments needs to have a chat with them. Sooner rather than later.

A lot of her news comes from tipsters/fans, a lot of it though comes straight from NBC. She is to be applauded for doing an awesome job promoting the show, no two ways about it. But the TH contest was from NBC, the 5% discount and news on new merchandise came from NBC.

All I'm asking for is a little love sent our way.

well back to suggestions, I suggest that when The Office returns that they have more characters. Jim and Pam have gotten together so people can no longer watch to see when that happens. Secondly, all of the Stamford people are gone except for Andy, and Andy and Dwight conflict can only go on for so long. Also Jan is pretty much out of the scene. We need "fresh fish."
