Maggie is Abby's aunt, not her mother. It's not her job to show Abby what "bad news" Max is. And you're right, Abby is growing up, if her hear gets broken, it would be her choice! She needs to experience it at some point in her life.

I honestly don't think Jack would like anyone with Abby...cuz he always wants to keep her his little girl.

I heard from those who saw the Canadian episode, that was a funny scene at the end, when Max looks over to where Maggie is watching him...and that she waved at him sarcastically! And he told Jed that he was not so sure that Maggie liked him! LOL!
I find it funny actually...the whole Mabby date sounds like a scene from a comedy movie, with everything going wrong...but either way, we see a smitten Max...I heard people say that he looks more and more in love with Abby...

Yea I think she's just an obstacle until Jack comes back. Can't wait to see that! although I don't really get why Maggie is so against Max.
