Seriously, poor Max AND Abby!

All Abby wanted was a nice date with a guy she is crazy about. But during the date, it was like she was running back and forth between everyone, trying to satisfy everyone's needs.

She wanted to help Nick/Chelz...and to also be the good girl in front of Maggie, while Max was basically left in the background...

Honestly, I felt badly for both of them for many reasons.

Max....well, it must have hurt when Maggie showed up to the table, and didn't even look at him and completely ignored him like he was invisible. If you notice, she was with her back to Max the entire time she was talking to Jed/Abby...So he felt like an outsider.

What made it worse is that Abby didn't do anything when all this was happening. She could have told her aunt to show some respect towards Max...but she just sat and tried to make it look like it was a Jed/Abby date...

Max did open up. He told her how beautiful she was...and Abby did realize that he was indeed nervous to be alone with her....

But I also feel bad for Abby. I mean the girl helps everyone! She is there for every single person...She always puts others before her own needs. She tried to comfort her cousin and her best friend and also to please Maggie. And that is exhausting...it totally took everything out of her.

So yeah, I HOPE we get to see Mabby talk about what had happened. I think we will. I don't think the Maggie thing is going away at all. It's only starting!

Even as Jed/Max were seating, Maggie was still watching them both right on a table near them!!! And I'm beginning to like Jed because he obviously is rooting for Mabby now and got the idea that he and Abby won't happen. And Max told him that basically Abby's aunt is no fan of his at all. Then Maggie is sarcastically waving at Max, who looks upset...

Max has huge insecurities about himself. Remember all the discussions where he put himself down for hurting the other girls and bailling on them. Well, this situation did even more harm. When he told Abby he liked her back in February, he said that Jack would not be happy about this and how her family would not like to see her date him. Well, he was right in some ways. And he just saw the animosity from Abby's aunt.

yes I feel bad for BOTH of them! all they wanted was to have a nice first date and to be alone! Mondays epi is gonna be sad for me. I kinda feel bad for abby she keeps having to help everyone with their problems!

It's interesting cuz the day ahead prevuze made it sound like a funny episode! But when you actually watch it, and you see a sad Max/Abby at the end...wow...

BUT here are the BRIGHT parts:

Max tells Abby that she is beautiful twice! More specifically "you're a very beautiful woman."

Also loved how he casually asked her out and when she wanted to go to a cheaper place, he told her he wanted to take her to an expensive restaurant!

Also loved that Max said they had "sparks' YEAH THEY DO!

well said way to go Jules! but Maggie needs to get a grip seriously.. and Abby needs to start standing up for her man! but you said it perfectly I feel so bad for Mabby and Maggie and Jed need to get lost!

aww! gosh I love Mabby! and Max is right they definitely have sparks! you never heard him saying that kinda stuff to Chelz or Mimi!

this is o/t: I hate to do this too you guys but I don't think I can stay on the boards that much longer! as some of you may know i'm having a huge family promblem and I can't keep it together right now.. i'm actually crying right now but I don't want to leave you guys but i'm afaid I have to for a couple days or so.. i'll come back and bump Mabby and other threads and maybe start a thread or two.. but I wanted to say I love you guys with all my heart and i'm sorry for doing this to you all! I feel so bad but its something I have to do for a couple days til I get myself together.. And it seems that Jed is now a friend to Mabby...he got the point that Abby likes Max...and even told Max again that Abby is only interested in Max...that was nice of him!

This time is was mostly Maggie causing issues!

meh nah just that.. but anyway I hope Maggie and Jed get a clue that nothing can stop Mabby seriously! ugh more and more this storyline sounds like me and my boyfriend.. scary but true people stop it nothing til they see me and him apart but love wins out either way.. like I think love will win out in this! I think Jed will be a good friend to Mabby now, Krista...I got the friend vibe from him...during the Mabby date episode.

I think Jed sorta knows Abby loves Max and will back off Mabby just Maggie is the one i'm worried about..

they need to sign up Kate and Maggie up for the leave my children and neice's alone with their loves lives! it would be just those two I bet you Kate and Maggie are like the biggest promblems right now they can't keep their noses out of their children and neice's business! it will come back and bite them in the butt in the long run and I can't wait to see it happen..

Well, I have a feeling we will eventually see Maggie go talk to Max about Abby!

I hope he tells her that he'd never hurt Abby...and that he really cares about her.

The only bad thing is that we'd probably have to wait another full week before seeing the aftermath of the Mabby "date fiasco"...

I read the spoilers...and there are no mentions of Mabby other than on Monday!

I wish we'd get like 3 Mabby episodes per week! But it's always one good episode per two weeks...

I am just really upset about the fact that we are going to have to wait until next week probably to see Mabby again. I am not fond of the fact that we always just get Mabby on either once or twice (if we're lucky a week). That just makes me mad and I don't like it at all. It just makes me really frustrated. And it doesn't make sense to me why that is. I believe Max and Abby should be on at least 3 times a week. And I know that they are probably waiting to get into Mabby in the summer and what not but screw the summer that is way too long to wait I want to see more of them now.

Believe me I'd love to have Mabby 5 times a week for a change...but unfortunately, for now, Hogan is giving us what he is giving us...We don't really have any choice in the matter.

I just enjoy whatever we do get...no matter how tiny.

BUT I would love more Mabby interaction! Or like three episodes per week maybe...That would be amazing...

yea i guess we don't really have a choice BUT the summer will be great cuz we will probably be getting lots of Mabby and Chick!

Nope i'm in High school unfortunately I only get two days off cuz the school has been under construction the past three- four years and we had to start late this year. thankfully the construction will be done very soon and we will have a week off next year. how long do you have?
