I didn't want to start an anti-Max/Mimi thread, but a poster on this board had started a Anti-Mabby thread...So to be fair, I'll be starting a list of people who do not see ANY sparks with the DULL pairing of Max and Mimi!

Alright, so let the games begin. I personally see ZERO chemistry with them. I have to forward all their scenes together because they are not entertaining. Their story is rushed and feels forced.

Even Farah herself had admitted about feeling ridiculous to be in the Mabby storyline...cuz she said she probably would have fitted better with an older crowd. Well, I agree with Farah...This triangle is ridiculous...

And enough of Brady men for Mimi...how many men does she still need to lie to? Let's see, she lied to Rex and to Shawn(about his own baby girl)...And all Mimi does is feel sorry for herself and NEVER takes responsibility for her actions...at all.

And yet some fans of Mimi always defend her as though she can do no wrong!

But I just don't see the point in MM when Mimi will leave for TWO months...and Hogan had written the storyline for MM even before Darin/Farah had started filming together. So I don't think he wrote it after he suddenly saw how great they were...

My question is, will you be a MM fan if Mimi will be recast after the two months absence?

Someone in the Anti-Mabby thread made a comment about the age difference and that supposedly the Mabby fanbase is tiny...and that MM have more fans...I responded once and only once over there. So I'll post my response here. I don't want to give a free response like that without contributing it to here also, anyway here it is, word for word:

"To say that Mabby fanbase is nothing and small is false...lol. I think MM fans realize that they have no chance. Farah is leaving in February and so is the ridiculous MM pairing...So I guess the best way to react to such news is to bash Mabby...

Let's see the Mabby petition is almost 500 sigs. Abby had won EVERY single MAGAZINE poll as the top choice for Max over MIMI, steph, and chelze by a LANDSLIDE. Those polls are consistent of couple of THOUSANDS of people. Not like ten haters on this forum....

And there are The Mabby Forums which already have close to 200 members even though they had just opened about a week and a half ago. The MM forum has like 12 fans...

The ten or eleven Anti-Abby people can bash her all day long but Hogan's plan is Mabby! That's why they are in EVERY single preview for 2007, and NO mention of MM at all...just that Mimi will be involved with her family story...that's all.

As for Kirsten, she was 15 and Jason 19 when Shelle had started. Shelle had their first kiss when Kirsten was 17...So Ashley is 17 right now also. And it is not in ANY contract that says a 17 year old girl cannot kiss a guy on screen. Abby was making out with Josh a year ago just fine. She was 16 then...

The age thing is ridiculous. Missy was like 21 and Matt 29 when Jack/Jenn had started. Bo/Hope also have like 10 year difference. When they had started I think Hope was like 18 and Peter(Bo) 28...

Hogan knows what is a good formula. A sweet pretty younger girl with an older bad boy. It has worked wonders before.

Either way, just cuz on THIS forum, there are like 5 more MM fans than Mabby ones..it does not mean they are more popular. On EVERY single other forum, like the sony one, Mabby threads are way longer and the shipper lists are huge...

Anyway, keep on hating/bashing...It won't MAKE Farah stay...She wants to leave and she will.

NO I will not be in to MM if Farah is recast ( well ok I MIGHT BE. I will have to SEE. Since I have a habit of disliking recasts, I can see myself NOT liking M&M but it all depends) but I don't think she will be going anywhere because I just can't see her in primetime. I don't think she has what it takes to go on. Alot of my family works in TV and the film industry so I've seen alot of auditions and stuff from tapes via my aunt.. and tons of people in soaps try for primetime (ABC primetime) and are labelled, "stuck in daytime" LOL


but like see I think shelle is kinda ruined via recasts. I still LIKE them but its not what it was. KS and JC had chemistry. BB and MM are just thrown together ya know?? Character history is nothin' when watching them is like watching paint dry.

I just think Ashley doesn't seem mature enough. That's all. I think Mabby will work eventually but just not now. She is really not coming off as 18 in the least, more like 16 trying to be 18. But they look nice together. In the future, mabby I can potentially see. For the present..hmm. nope

How is it obvious that he likes MM? When he put Mabby in ALL the previews for 2007 and NO mention of MM at all?

And also someone had commented that Kirsten Storms looked older? lol...She looked way younger at 17 than does Ashley Benson.

I think Hogan wants Mabby...that is WHY he is building them so slowly. Unlike MM who he rushed. Remember Shimi, that was rushed and look how that turned out? It's the couples that take time that matter in the long run...

But Kirsten came across as more mature. Ashley's 17 doesn't match KS' to me. Actually, alot of teen actors on Y&R Ashley doesn't match them either. They all seem more mature. Given some of them are better actors but still.

I think he's just testing both of them to see what works out better.

Shimi was rushed yeah, they sucked. doomed from the start. bad idea!

And Hogan is not testing BOTH couples...MM have gotten ALL the airtime in the last TWO months...while Mabby got barely any scenes. So I don't think he was testing for chemistry at all...

This is what I think Hogan is doing right now:

Abby falls for Max, but he has no idea and spends time with Mimi, then Abby gets jealous and tries to move on with Connor...

Then Max will not like all the time she starts spending with Connor, who spoilers say is BAD news....He will try to protect a "friend"...but he will also be jealous...

Sometime in February, Mabby hook up officially...

That's what I THINK will happen...

But if you noticed, Mabby are at the core of everything with Mimi and Connor stuff...

And as for Kirsten being more mature. I actually Ashley is more mature as an actress. When she cries, her tears are genuine....the way she carries herself is more mature than Kirsten. As acting goes, I think Ashley is the better of the two.

And I think if you are a Farah fan, you should wish her luck and HOPE she finds a great acting gig. Kirsten did. And I don't think she was a better actress than Farah...Although Kirsten's show was cancelled...

I just think Hogan gave Farah something to do before she leaves. I think in January/February, Mimi will be more focused on her family. And with this new guy coming into Abby's life at that time, it's obvious that there will also be a small Max/Abby/Connor triangle...

I'm calling it now. I think Max will get jealous of the time Abby will spend with Connor...That's my prediction, anyway.

But when Farah's gone, MABBYTIME WOO! That's what I mean, we see MM now, Farah leaves, Mabby starts up then we see FULL BLOWN LOVE TRIANGLE!

Kirsten was higher rank then Farah always. She had a disney contract. That was huge. Kirsten has also had alot more formal training and started younger. I don't mind Farah, she's cool but realistically it is hard to break out of soap land.

See I can't see Mabby "hooking up." I see slow cheesy romance. No hot sex for those two. LOL oh no no no.

I think Ashley is an "ok" actress. From my perspective she is in and out alot. She is good, then she loses it and goes flat but no biggie. She will be good and I really think Ashley will grow out of DOOL which is awesome. On the OC she was good. DAYS just moves really fast which is hard. She is noticeably improving.

I think Farah and Jay might work but I am biased as they are original teen scene group (well Jay sorta but he was the main Phil!) . I'm happy he's back too.

OMG can you imagine if KATE went and forced poor Abby on Phil? GROSS! *eye roll* Cause she was trying to push poor homely Stephanie on him LOL that woman has to stop meddling. *shakes head*

I keep hearing rumours of a Mimi/Phillip pairing and them raising their baby together...So I don't know about a full Abby/Max/Mimi triangle yet...Cuz wouldn't Hogan have mentioned that in the previews for 2007?

But I do hear that there will be a story for Phimi plus their baby.

Either way, I've always liked Farah/Jay's chemistry. I was a Phimi fan before.

If it's a recasted Mimi, the new actress might also have chemistry with Jay...

And now that Jay is back, if Farah decides to come back after like a two-three month absence...Phimi could very well work. Fans are already open to it. Especially Farah/Mimi fans who love her with any guy that Mimi wants...

I think Chloe is the most boring character EVER!!!!!!! OMG she was good in the beginning and such but she just got TERRIBLE during that scar ordeal. Faking her death? WHAT was that? So incredibly lame with a capital L. It made a nonshallow character look VERY shallow, she really changed.

And then she finally reunites with Brady and they spend 2 months in bed. FF.

Plus I LOVED Belle/Brady's bro/sis bond. Kyle/Kirsten had awesome sibling chemistry...that was lacking with Martha, who is OLDER than Kyle...lol.

Honestly, I could NEVER stand Chloe. I thought she was a mean character. I hated how she came into the picture and the show was ALL about her...And Belle was just put in the background...

And she treated Phillip horribly...remember the accused rape??? what the heck was that?

I've always loved Brady and thought he and Phillip both deserved better than her.
