Ok the threads have been merged. It was either that or delete the anti threads because they are causing to much drama. Now there is an official pro thread for each fan base and the other fan base now has NO REASON to post in the others pro thread. If someone posts in the pro thread (and its an anti post) then just report it and ignore it then it will be deleted. If you quote it etc that makes more work for the mods because we have to clean up all the rest of the stuff too.
Also the people who were complaining about their post being deleted. If you quoted a post that was deleted your post will be deleted also. (that might explain it I am not sure)
Also to answer someones question about spamming. Spamming on nbc means that you are making posts in a thread over and over and no one has posted in between. We usually try and just merge all of them into one post (if we have time). It caused problems on the passions board in the team threads where one person would post repeatedly and no one else was in there. That is what started the no spamming rule on nbc. I hope that answers that question.

Mimi absolutely drives me nanners, though. The pitiful babytalk voice, the "cutesie" and incessant rolling of her overmade eyes, that dam-ned plaid coat with the pilled up collar, the stringy licorice colored bangs hanging in her eyes...I wanna hit her. I like Max and even if I didn't, I couldn't wish Measles on him. She is LAME, LAME, LAME, and lame again. I hope she goes soon and Feb can't get here soon enough for me.

Seriously, those were awesome Mabby scenes! They've got it all: the angst, the happiness, the romance, etc...all in one show!
I mean first Abby was mad at Max, then he apologized and said that he "needs her"...and it turned romantic, then cute/funny with Abby asking "where is her Christmas bonus, boss?" then the sweet/romantic Shakespeare's book of sonnets gift that he took the time to pick out, even had asked the sales lady to help! And then comes the angst, with one bad card! And she shoves it in his chest, while he looks shocked...All in ONE day for Mabby!!!
On another note, I FINALLY agree with Mimi on something she had said!
After Abby told MM to hang a "tie on the door" next time!
Mimi: "NOW I feel cheap!"
YUP! I agree.

I can't stand Mimi at all! For a second when she was walking away from Max saying that maybe they shouldn't do this....I was like, "hmm...maybe she did grow up and mature a bit." THEN like 2 seconds later, she is all over Max! And I'm like "that's the Mimi we all know and HATE."

I just kinda felt bad for Max, too...After seeing the scenes, it looked like he REALLY wanted her approval of his gift. Like when she was opening the gift, you can see in the background that he was paying close attention to her reaction...and when she said that she read it, he was like, "I can exchange it..."

Ppl keep saying Max didn't put alot of thought into Abby's gift, but he DID say that he told the girl at the bookstore about her and that is why the girl thought Abby would like the gift, so it isn't like he wasn't thinking of her at all and plus he said I was gonna get scarves or gloves or something BUT I KNOW YOU LIKE TO READ....

I just realized that Christmas was not completely ruined for Mabby!
I just wanted to point that Max DID give Abby a very thoughtful Christmas gift. I actually predicted that there would be a cute Mabby scene where he'd give her a Christmas present...but then MM happened and so I forgot about it.
But now that I think about it, Abby saved Max on Christmas. Max gave her a book of Shakespeare's sonnets! He talked about how he talked to the sales person about Abby!!
And notice when she is opening the present, Max is behind her, looking a bit nervous. Like he REALLY wants her to love the gift. And he kinda starts talking, "I bought it a few weeks ago...but with everything that had happened, i didn't get the chance to give it to you. I know...kinda lame." It sounds like a guy who really wants to impress his girl. And look at his body language and facial expression when he is waiting for her to open the gift. He kinda looks down and seems a bit anxious even.
Then when she tells him she had read it already, right away, he's like "I can take it back and exchange it!" so cute!!! He so likes her! I mean there is NO other explanation for that gift! Did he give Mimi a gift??? NO!
And at the end, when he notices that she is sad, he's like, "what? what's wrong?" and looks very worried! And after she shoves the book at his chest, he just looks so hurt!!! AWWWW...
So we did get a GOOD Christmas in a way...So I bet we'll get an better Valentines Day!

I see today my mimihaters thread is deleted, so I guess someone didn't think it was appropriate...or others posted there and it got ugly.....I have no clue. It used to be okay to have haters threads....those who weren't just stayed the heck away. But when did it get to be okay to have a character appreciation (or couple appreciation) thread and then post horrid pictures of the third party in a triad? Despite the utter childishness of it....it really does just bait those who feel strongly the other way. If they love 'em...then love'em; have faith in 'em....cheer 'em on. Yay! I don't even have a huge problem with the posting of Abby pics and then ripping on her....IF WE CAN DO THE SAME TO MIMI....if not....then I think there is something seriously slanted. It looks like Hogan is developing Mabby very slowly. And Hogan had talked about couples getting together very slowly so that the viewers will truly care about them and invest in them. MM are way too rushed and too quick to be Hogan's idea of a long term couple.
Hogan, on the other hand, is taking his time with Mabby. He has put a ton of obstacles between them. Like Mimi, and soon Connor, I'll bet...Also Max/Abby do have all the ingredients to be an amazing couple. They are both young and talented and gorgeous. Their characters really do fit together.
So I can't wait to see what Hogan has in store...
Um as for the Anti MM thread being deleted, it actually was merged into a Pro Mabby thread! I think someone had asked one of the mods to merge the Anti MM and Pro Mabby threads together and the Pro MM/Anti Mabby threads together...That's why you now see 32 pages of Pro Mabby and about 30 something pages for Pro MM...
I think that poster just got annoyed of the similar threads all over the place.
I don't mind the threads being merged. It's just that there are ton of people who just HATE MM and are not really Mabby fans...That's why it's a bit weird for them to post in the Pro Mabby thread...hence, we've had fewer visitors since the merging of threads cuz some people don't know about the merging and think the Anti MM thread was deleted...
