Just wondering...You see I have an older brother. And I just cannot imagine him ever giving me a book of Shakespeare's sonnets. It seems like a gift someone would give their girlfriend, not their sister.

Anyway, I just wanted to see what you guys think. I'm sure many of you guys have older brothers. Would your older brother give you such a gift? Or it's too romantic?

Max gave it to Abby with a card that said "the closest thing to a little sister..." To me, that seems odd. Plus he took the time to go to a store and ask a sales lady to help him pick out the gift. He even told the saleslady about Abby and what she is like. It's like he went through a lot of trouble for Abby, to make her happy. To me, it's a bit more romantic. I mean Shakespeare wrote Romeo and Juliet. He wrote really romantic sonnets and plays. Plus Jack had once read some of Shakespeare's quotes to Jennifer years ago when he was about to propose. And Jennifer had given him Shakespreare's Romeo and Juliet on Valentines Days...

Anyway, I just wanted to get your opinion on it!

ITA...that is why Mami/m&M/Maxipad got together so quickly. They are not the real deal. The real deal takes more time and alot more effort. All of her relationships develop so quickly(Kevi, Rexi, Shimi, Maxipad) She lets everyone sample the milk before they buy the cow(then there was the one that "bought the cow" LOL and look how that turned out)....It just feels forced because it is happening too fast.

GEEZ...don't say "cow" ....or the next thing you know she'll be releasing her big ol' hooters on the unsuspecting public AGAIN!

And now they are practically getting it on already on the floor of the garage! Um, Mimi just got out of her marriage!

And not only that, Abby catches them...and so it's more about HER reaction to MM, not MM themselves...just as SHE saw them kiss on Christmas...it was about HER reaction to the MM kiss...

Also hello? A Shakespeare's book of sonnets, what is more romantic than that? Max took his time to choose the perfect gift for Abby. He even talked about her to the saleslady!

Also Farah is finishing taping next week and then Mimi leaves in February for at LEAST TWO full months! And then maybe she will be recast!

So how can there be MM without Farah? HOW? What if she gets a pilot, and she won't be back?

While Mabby are developing very slowly, getting sweet scenes in small portions. NO rushing of any kind...just nice and slow. As a real couple should develop.

Hogan said that Max was made for a supercouple...and now Hogan is giving Mabby similarities to Jack/Jennifer. Like Max called Abby a "kid" as Jack had called Jennifer in the past...The the Shakespeare thing has been done with JJ also...not to the mention the whole "boss/employee" older guy/younger girl combination...

Farah will be taping her last scenes next week. And Mimi will leave in the middle of February...Probably like Feb. 20 or even sooner! YAY!

Seriously, I'd feel a whole lot better after her last airdate is announced or after I hear about Farah's last day at work...

Ashley's contarct is up to November 2007. Plus if Hogan wanted Abby to leave, he could have sent her with her parents to London...

This rumour is from TWO years ago back when Ashley was recurring and trying out for pilots/shows...

Ashley has NOT tried out for anything this year. The only thing she did was a guest spot on The O.C.

Anyway, Ashley loves working at DOOL...and she cannot leave until her contract is up...So that's almost a year from now...lol.

Ashley: I don't know where you read that but I'm not leaving. I can't try out for Pilot season until 2008. To be honest I did recently try and see about being recurring or leaving my contract early. Only because I feel my storyline has never developed since I have been on the show or challenging enough. I have been missing other opportunities for other projects due to my contract. I Love working at DOOL and all of the Cast and Staff. DOOL has said I will be doing alot more on the show. Whether that is a Max/Abby storyline or something else I don't know. They have just assured me I will be getting more storylines! When my contract is up it all depends on how the storyline is for my character. We will just have to wait and see what they have in store for Abby. ;D

Alrighty, I was thinking about Mabby's potential last night and I remembered a few key things. HS the writer has said that he sees Max as half of a great supercouple, he said that Max has potential and that the actor was good. HS also said that he loved Abby and saw the next generation of J&J in her. He also mentioned what a great actress AB is.
Now that is not all word for word by HS just what I remember from all the interviews he's done. It got me thinking, has HS ever mentioned anything about Mimi? Her potential? I just don't recall anything about her or the actress. Anyone?

nope! friday yes max gave abby a gift that had a card from max saying he considers like a baby sister.. I think it was fridays show when that happen but all in all Max needs to open his eyes and see whats in front of him.. a great girl that loves him with all her heart!! Mimi is just using another Brady man!!

So why can't just Hogan get rid of Mimi alltogether? Why bother recasting or getting Farah back after she tries out for pilots?
