Hey Fans!!

We're working really hard on updating the L&O: SVU website and we'd love to hear what types of things you'd like to see around here. Features, content, community...we want to know what you want!

Now's the chance for your feedback to potentially shape the outcome of the site, so put on your brainstorming hats and let's hear some awesome ideas!!

* Character profiles that are updated as time goes by.
* Episode synopses that are detailed more than what we see in TV Guide.
* List of guest stars and the episode(s) they appeared in. Searchable if possible.
* Photo gallery that includes all the main and major recurring characters and change often (quarterly?).
* Upcoming episode guide: title, TV Guide synopsis, anticipated airdate.
* Contests/quizzes - with or without some kind of "prize" - which could be as simple as access to a photo not posted to the main site for downloading to the computer or as exciting as a "conversation" (email or possibly phone) with one of the production personnel (cast or crew).
* Online transcripts for the diehard fans who like to know exact quotes insted of having to get them off illegally uploaded videos to YouTube and other sharing sites
* Access to special SVU merchandise that only online viewers would be able to buy (instead of being available online AND at the physical NBC Store).

I think that's a good start.

first of all, those quotes have been coming soon forever...
2ns of all sometimes i miss the teaser for nect week...and i would like to be able to watch it on the site...
those maybe 1 inch by inch pictures that used to be next to each bio...on the old site, were rly nice...id like em back somewhere...

I agree since many people miss the promo or as like last night it was not shown in all time zones it would be a good idea to have the promo for the next episode up on the site as many other networks do.

^^ Yes. And I'd love to see some of the goof ups/out takes somewhere. If not here then maybe included on the DVD sets.

I like the idea of regularly updated character profiles. And some new highlights like little behind the scenes snippets, one-on-one's with the cast/crew, sneak peaks and blooper. Especially during breaks between new episodes. The wait gets long and boring, it'd be nice to have something to tide us over. Previews for the next episode should be posted here. A lot of fans miss them in the commercials, and a few times certain markets didn't air them after the previous episode.

Will the favorite quotes section ever be complete? A lot of us fans are waiting for that.

Oh, big thing: fix Dani in the graphic. It's a very big sore spot. Probably won't get it perfect, but a better job can be done. She's standing out way too much.

Also, a little more in depth description of the episodes like whose guest starring, maybe a little bit more about the case.

And, an update of the pictures in the profiles, maybe using the recent promotional shots?

Last think I can think of at this moment: on the NBC.com homepage under "Select A Show," how about using a cast picture like LAO and CI does, instead of Detectives Stabler and Benson? As much as I love them it's not the Stabler and Benson show, it's Special Victims Unit. Big emphasis on the "Unit;" they all deserve equal recognition.

First, my appreciation for the courage of SVU in tackling these abuse issues. After so many exposes of sexual predators though, I'd like to see an evolution and examination of the ways in which we (men, women, teenagers) victimize ourselves.

This past Christmas, a young woman in my extended family went to a party with too many drinks, too many drugs, too many whatevers, and was found dead in the morning. Such a tragedy - her whole life ahead of her.

First, I am sorry to hear about your family member. Your right this is a great show and thye do a great job of tackling these issues with as much class as they can.

As far as the site goes, I agree with Kat Rose, love the ideas.
As well agree there should def be a preview for upcoming ep and there should be Bloopers or outakes, I know other NBC shows post weekly outtakes, or deleted scenes, so it would be great if SVU could.
I love the contest idea too

I'd love to be able to watch the episodes on line - like you can on abc.com

I would like to see all ofd them, along with links to the stars other websites.

I saw that they took Danni Beck but I find it extremly odd that they didnt bloop out whoever is standing behind Munch. You cant see their face and it looks like Fin is grabbing their wrist. Their attire looks like something Liv would wear but the hair doesnt match and they look taller than her. Does anyone have any clues????? Please! It's driving me crazy!!!!

I love the episode highlights- makes me feel better, that if I miss an episode- I can still see what happened.

Anyway, I'd like to see:

-more bloopers/outtakes

-contact addresses of the actors AND the writers

-Can I request everything and anything that has dani in it be thrown in the trash and lit on fire? No?

-This may be a bit unorthadox, but I would like to see some sort of poll or quiz about Olivia and Elliot's difficult situation. Maybe questions to us the fans about what we think of different things happening.

When are Benson and Stabler finally gonna get it together?!

I agree with many of the above suggestions, especially the bloopers request. In all of the cast interviews, everyone a;ways says that, despite the dark subject matter, they are really a fun and lighthearted cast. The actors are always saying how hilarious the next one is and how funny things can get behind the scenes... show us that humor! Just from interviews and articles it's obvious that the cast has a great time behind the scenes. We don't get to laugh with them too often (due to the seriousness of the story lines), so it would be great to have an outtake or blooper section here on the site to let us see the other side of our favorite actors!

i'd like to see all of that too. i don't care if i get a prize when i get all the questions right on a quiz, but it would definitely be fun to see how much i really know about SVU and the characters. character profiles, svu merch, pictures and sypnoses would be nice too. also, i had a hard time getting to the case files.

well I think all the suggestions mentioned, the more interesting for me are:
- Behind the scenes videos
- Episode synopses
- Access to SVU merchandise for online viewers
- Links to the actor’s web page –the actor who have one like chris, mariska or ice-t-
- Bloopers

Thankyou for giving us this opportunity to help shape the SVU website.
I have many ideas, some of which have already been presented. Right now, I will only be requesting one, because I'd like to put some thought into some of the others.
My request:
I'd like to be able to have the SVU message board (and actually the other message boards, like LOCI as well) broken up into subforums.
For example:
We would have selections like, SVU Characters, then we'd be able to click onto the charater of choice, Olivia, Stabler, Fin, Munch, Alex, all of them old and new, and add our comments there.
Also if you could do the same with all the Seasons and episodes.
Create every Season as a selection, then the episodes under each season as another link, then when you click on the episode of choice, we can make our comments there.
Basically have someone take the time to create the main links, then the sublinks as well. Also, if you decide to do this for us, please don't stop at episodes and characters, add alot more links and sublinks as well. It would really help organize this board.
Of course I believe we should have an area where we could create topics of our own as we do now, but the main structure with subforums would be so wonderful and there are so many constants that can be included onto the board this way.
It would really make the board much more inviting, and organized. Users would be able to find what they're looking alot quicker and easier.

2ndly i noticed that the site has been slightly revammped but instead of putting the FAVORITE quotes ive been waiting for, the coming soon piece was just taken away...are we never getting those long aticipated favortie quotes>????

I agree with whoever asked that everything Danni Beck should be burned--I know she was there while Mariska was on maternity leave, but what an awful character! I was relieved to see her go. The writers should promise us that Benson and Stabler will never split up again. If Mariska has another child, the pregnancy should be written into the show as the result of the long awaited, and long foreseen, romantic blossoming between Liv and Eliott.

I'd like to see full length episodes on this site.

As for the show, I'd like to know more about Munch and Dr. Warner. Munch only recently had an episode in the spotlight when his uncle Jerry Lewis killed a predator.

Warner also had one episode, where she helped rescue a little girl from her psychotic brother.

We know Munch is a conspiracy nut, with a soft spot for tragic victims (Amy Saulway) but that's about it--what's going on in his personal life now?

We know Warner was in the Air Force, and she's married with two kids--that's it.

I'd also like to see Olivia solve her mother's rape, and arrest her bio dad.

I think Cabot should come back. I've never liked Novak--she doesn't have the guts that Cabot's character had--she tries REALLY hard to portray that toughness, but she falls pathetically short. If Dick Wolf can move two Conviction cast members to L&O (original) and CI, then surely Cabot can come out of witness protection and Novak can leave.

I recently purchased the third season and I was disappointed when I discovered there were no special features.

It seems like such an amazing cast and crew. I would just really like an inside look into what goes on when the cameras stop rolling. They appear to have a blast and I would like to see a little of the dynamics.

Also, could we have some behind the scenes photos? I think that would be really interesting to see in regard to production, actors studying lines, in the hair/makeup trailer, etc. Just goofy stuff. lol.

They did something sorta like that ugh can't remember how long ago. I'm thinking last season or the one before. Anyway this woman was slipping famous or really smart people drugs in their drinks and then she was using this electric thing to make them ********* and she would then take the sperm and they would sell it to woman who wanted to have smart kids or kids of someone famous cause like they would have a better chance of being smart or famous. The woman who stole the sperm used one mans herself and he was charged with rape, even though he didn't remember being with her and he never actually raped her. They eventually figured out what she had been doing and the charges against him were dropped and he ended up with custody of the child. It was a pretty interesting episode. If you ever get to see it when they re-air it on USA network.

I would like to know more about the actors who play the characters and their feelings towards certain episodes. I would also like to know a more indepth history about the characters. For example..... What are Marishka's likes and dislikes, how is she enjoying being a mother, does it scare her to think that some of the story lines are based on real events and that there are actual creeps out there that do this kind of stuff to kids. Has being a mom made the way she plays Olivia any different?............... I have seen Malony in the crowds at some of the Ultimate Fighting ppvs. Is he a big fan if so who does he like and what else does he do in his spare time?

You had me agreeing with you on most of what you said, and I think Cabot is good to look at but I think they are finaly making Novak a better character. When she first came on she was a butt!!! Now she has gotten better. Also they did an episode I forget what season but the way they ended it Olivia found the guy who raped her mom, tracked him down, saw this old guy looking out a window about 3 floors up (and we were led to presume it was her father) and they ended the episode with her getting in the car and driving away as if she found him she knows who he is and were he is, but it is not worth persecuting him. Someone to add to your list of people to learn more about is Cragen. We know he was an alcoholic and he had 1 episode when it was assumed a college student's professor killed her.

Actually, Elliot asks her when she gets back in the car if that's her dad, and she she shook her head.

I'd like to see an archive of previous episode descriptions. If I remember correctly, this was on the webpage before, but seems to be missing now, since its been revamped.

I agree with what Katrose has posted. Also, in the downloadables section, for the wallpaper, Olivia's picture looks horrid there. You can tell that it is not the original one that is supposed to be there. I love the original one where she is in the black long sleeve shirt.

Also, I think that section should be expanded overtime. It's great that they have the beautiful picture of the cast, but maybe have individual ones, or maybe Benson and Stabler in one and Munch and Fin in another and Cragen and Novak and so on.

Plus, maybe video interviews with the cast during the current season. Just to get a feel for how the cast reacts and how they felt filming that episode. And maybe an expanded photo section from each episode of the current season.

That's all I can think of now.

. Once in a while have a open idea thing, where fans can actually send their specific (As in, not two setences saying 'OLIVIA AND ELLIOT GETTING TOGETHER. AND HAVING LOVELY BABIES'.) scripts/idea's/stories about an episode(s) and actually have YOU (yes, NBC/LAOSVU Castie/Crewie) pick a few out and actually make a real episode about it
