Any word on when this might air?? I'm sure since Feb. sweeps is ending with "Philadelphia" they are going to drag it out and make us wait a while, but surely not until April or May, right??

That is the million dollar question. It looks like it could be a good season finale candidate... but that would just be evil. We really dont have the definitive answer right now of the exact time... I'm guessing it'll be announced in March/April when we're shifting through re runs...

LAW & ORDER: SVU: An upcoming episode will be titled "Florida." Benson is on a mission to find who killed her father. Benson visits Jane Willner Marcus, a woman in her 50s, who was raped by the same person who raped Benson's mother back in the late 60s, so she can identify her rapist.


So here's what I got (Squeels with delight) Agent Porter seeks Liv out... and she doesn't seem very happy about it. She ends up goin off with him for a while. WHen she returns to the squad she tells El about who Porter is and how it's been a crap day. Okay. Then there's the perp who she kicks the living shi.t out of. She goes so crazy that Cragen has to go in and pull her off of him (Rage is probably associated with the crap day.. Porter and Simon., who is her brother.) So she gets in trouble, of course for nearly kicking the perp to death. Simon contacrs her and nearly runs her over with a car. Simon is part of a case that Porter is working so she contacts him. Ummm I think she purposely tried to keep El out of the situation not wanting a repeat of what happend in "Philadelphia"


ummmmmmmm Towards the end Liv is in a hostage situation with Simon crazy as.s El is outside of the house but has contact with her through a cell phone. Of course he's worried...

and the rest is up for speculation. I warn that plots are never set in stone, I cant say how sad I was about El not going to see Liv at her house in "Choreographed" as the sides said...


Juiced enough???!!! I think not.. BRING ON SEASON 8!!!!

This is so cool! There are so many Cali peoples on here! I am from San Diego! I think maybe the sweeps comment was mixed up on the months because I am pretty sure we will not have to wait 3 months for the Florida episode.

Florida's production number is #8018. There are several more episodes already known that come after that: 8019 Annihilated, 8020 Pretend and 8021 Sin. At the rate these scripts are coming out for auditions, I wouldn't be surprised if we have 24 episodes this season.

Also remember that we will still have a few new episodes between the end of February sweeps and the beginning of May sweeps. Otherwise we'd have 7-8 weeks of repeats, preemptions and crap. NBC wouldn't do that. So my educated guess on the upcoming airing schedule would be something like:

2/20 - Haystack
2/27 - Philadelphia
3/06 - Florida
3/13 - preemption
3/20 - repeat
3/27 - repeat
4/03 - Annihilated
4/10 - repeat/preemption
4/17 - repeat/preemption
4/24 - Pretend
5/01 - Sin
5/08 - unknown new
5/15 - unknown new
5/22 - unknown new - season finale

I could be wrong on which dates will be repeats/preemptions and which will be new during March and April, but I don't think I'm off to much with the rest - perhap an episode swap here and there, but that'll be all.

The Futon Critic and ep guides.com had Florida originaly slated for 3/6.

Now epguides has Florida slated for the the season finale 822. (according to the Futon Critic there will be 22 episodes this season)

The Futon Critic now has 3/6 - 3/13 - 3/20 - 3/27 - 4/3 as repeats/preemptions .
Then 6 straight new episodes to end the season 4/10 - 4/17- 4/24 - 5/1 - 5/8 - and 5/15 the season finale.

Assuming that the season finale will be Florida (which according to certain spoilers would leave a great cliff hanger) That leaves 5 episodes 17 - 21 airing 4/10 through 5/8

I wouldn't trust epguides as far as I could throw them with airing schedules. Futon Critic is a more reliable source, but I still wonder about the 22 ep number only because the scripts that are coming out now for pre-production are numbered in the 20s and it's too early for the shooting schedule to be ending. I, of course, could be wrong and production could be wrapping early or they could be stocking upon Season 9 eps like they did with Season 8 during the tail end of Mariska's pregnancy. ::shrug::

"Responsible" is #8014. It was on the production schedule between Haystack and Delirious. Here's a brief synopsis of it:

What I'm finding most interesting about this season is that there are so many episodes that are being aired out of produciton order. While that's no unusual, it's also not typical.

Yep, they are all correct. Some of them were already aired, and some were repeats. But 'Florida' wont be next after 'Philadelphia'. It's a Stabler-Dani repeat called 'Infiltrated' for March 6, Tuesday.

I read somewhere that Florida was going to be apart of May sweeps week! From reading all of your posts and the spoiler, I am not sure if I can wait that long!

Boooo @ Dani Beck Episodes (Except "Cage") What? It's just a coincidence that it was her last show, the case was actually very good.

So, I hear from Bailey that Philly and Florida can stand well on their own, so it's not a to be continued feeling at the end of Philly... more of a new venue opened b/c... well Liv finds out she has a brother, for one thing. So Florida is gonna air during May sweeps.
Now I dont recall if it was speculation or if they knew for sure that all of March was going to be repeats, with a mix of repeats and new eppys in April followed by the May Sweeps. Anyone know for sure?

We're currently lead to believe that Florida will be episode 8x19... Hey, the soon it airs the better! here's hopin'!

Ooh, sounds interesting. Can't wait to see it--or, for that matter, I can't wait to see "Philadelphia" tomorrow night.

I'm guessing some have been able to figure this out already, but just in case.

"Philadelphia" was number 16 of season 8. According to the production blog after last week's episode, after "Haystack" on Feb20th, there would be seven episodes left in the season. "Philadelphia" is one of those which leaves 6 new episodes to go before the season finale. Making it a 22 season show.

Now, I have no idea what the names, order, or air dates of any of the remaining shows are (besides the few that we know here which isn't all of them I'm guessing) but it sounds like "Florida" whenever they air it, is going to be another good one.

Detective Tutuola's son will return on Finale

Chris Bridges, aka rapper Lu dacris, is returning to "Law & Order: SVU" to reprise his role as the son of Fin's (Ice-T) ex-wife. Bridges begins filming the episode on Monday; it's scheduled to air May 22 - "SVU's" season finale.

It's not fair! Ten cut out of SVU's current season and is now showing repeats so i feel like i'm never going to get to see this episode or even the rest of season 8!

I know how it feels..

I watch SVU on USA (the channel) and they show episodes from season (I think...) 1-4/5/6. All I know is that their older episodes. But I still LOVE them. I just started watching SVU so I don't mind much.

I'd watch it on NBC if Mommy Dearest would let me stay up until 11 on Tuesdays... Argh.

Yeah! I had to DVR it so I could watch it twice! She is definetly going over the edge! Was it just me or did it sound like she said "You raped the right one", in between kicks? Maybe she was the one to get raped and thus the baby? But that would be completely unbelievable... the product of a rape has a product of a rape? Yeah not feasible, disregard that last one. But now I'm on P's and Q's until May 1 when Florida airs!
