In Peters dream/vision of the end of the world, Hiro still looks like he does now, but if Peters vision/dream is the end of the world, why is Hiro still alive to come back from the future and tell Peter to "Save the cheerleader, Save the world" ?

I'm new here so I'm sorry if this has already been said.
This question could possibly support the idea that it is not Hiro that comes back from the future but Sylar who is trying to give Peter things to do inorder to distract him form being able to defeat Sylar.

Any thoughts?

it's not the end of the world, is just a nuclear explosion in the centre of NY (still not like a nuclear explosion, a lot less poweful) , that's why

Unless the explosion only covered about two feet around Peter then Hiro was definently in the explosion, I mean he was only a few paces away.

The explosion is sofar just a dream and as such leaves room for interpretation but to my understanding the people in the dream are just the poeple that Peter has met and he knows that he has thier abilities, will the number of people in his dream continue to grow as he absorbs more and becomes aware of the abilities. ?????????????

Actually he did know Matt. He met him at the police station after the homecoming incident. Peter's dream was metaphoical. Simone was in it and she is dead. Why was Matt in his cop uniform and Claire in her cheer uniform? Peter apparantly has some sort of precognative ability as well. Some people think he picked it up from Charles Deveaux. I think he picked up a dream type ability from Charles and is combining that with Isaac's ability to paint the future, only Peter's visions don't necessarily come true but are more metaphorical, like real dreams.

That is an interesting thought. I'm going to have to think about that for a while.

or he could see peter about to explode, think "oh no! i must jump forward in time to avoid the blast, so that i may change the past so it never reaches this point!"

he is pretty good at reflexivly using his powers, like when hope shot him, and when he saw the explosion the first time, so he would have plenty of time to jump forward.
