In the show Kenneth's last name is Furley. But in the web extras on nbc.com, Evening with Kenneth, he refers to himself as Kenneth Parcell.
Maybe there's no point in this post.
I love Kenneth

I love 30 Rock....but it could be better. I laughed so hard last week at the Tracey on Conan episode. The writing was hilarious with Tracey seeing the "blue man" and crawling the ceiling. Alec is always great. I think he has the best comic timing in all television right now.....and I never really thought of him as a comedian before. Tina, of course, is the star, the glue, the engine of the show.
But, every time Kenneth comes on the humor kind of hits a wall. His deadpan delivery of non-funny lines. Help me out gang. What am I missing here. His character ruins episodes for me where he is heavily featured. Am I the only one who hates the Kenneth character?

He serves a far greater purpose-- the other characters can bounce jokes off of him

) What a martyr.

30 rock is a full plate and is perfect...everyone on it is perfect...the cast is constructed from genius...if you dislike one part you've given yourself a reason to dislike the perfection of the whole thing...kenneth is so well placed, as is all the cast that it's going to be a classic series that will make us think "seinfeld?" oh yeah, it was kinda funny

Jack: " want you to tell me everything that happened last night"
Kenneth: "The curtains opened on a group of chorus line dreamers in 1970s leotards, 5, 6-"
how is that not funny!!

Kenneth is sweet, he's funny, he
seems clueless, and yet somehow (perhaps because we rarely see what he does outside of the workplace unless he's on an errand) you always get the feeling that there's something they're not telling you about him, that he has a second life they'll never tell you about. Is he just Kenneth, or is he "Kenneth by day..."? The mystery, that's the best part.

From NBC Universal Media Village
Jack McBrayer plays Kenneth, the over-eager NBC page – a highly sought after entry level position with the network on NBC’s "30 Rock."
Emmy Award winner Tina Fey ("Saturday Night Live," "Mean Girls") writes, executive-produces and stars as Liz Lemon in "30 Rock," a workplace comedy where the workplace exists behind-the-scenes of a live variety show. The show is told through the comedic voice of Fey and features Alec Baldwin ("Jack Donaghy") as the brash new network executive who has turned the show upside down with his meddling ways.
McBrayer has performed at the sketch comedy epicenters of three cities beginning with Second City and ImprovOlympic in Chicago, the Upright Citizens Brigade in NY as well as the UCB and IO outposts in LA. He has made numerous appearances in sketches on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and has appeared on "Arrested Development." He was recently seen opposite Will Ferrell in the NASCAR comedy "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby."

A little bird told me that Jack McBrayer might be in an upcoming Mariah Carey video as a nerd with a crush on Mariah.
We'll see what develops...

I am getting a bird and naming him "Kenneth the page."
I'm not going to shorten it for convenience.
Whenever I address my bird, I will say "Kenneth the page."
"Kenneth the page! Stop pooping in your cage, I just cleaned it!"
It's basically interchangable with actual dialogue from the show.

Alright, so in the past week I've read two news articles that compare Bobby Jindal to Kenneth. My question is, what have they been smoking? Kenneth owns Bobby Jindal. His accent could kick the crap out of Bobby's accent. They could stand side by side in the same room, and more people would recognize Kenneth than Bob. Wanna know why? Because Bobby Jindal isn't friends with Tina Fey. People who are friends with Tina Fey automatically get +10 street cred and level up to "Super Pimp".
This is why I propose that Kenneth give political responses after addresses to Congress, so it will be that much more interesting and perhaps a little fly.
