After the frenzy of last evenings news of all production being shut down at both Shoe Money and NBC, a little research was in order.

The Hollywood Reporter just got itself another fan. Ray managed to write an article that was funny and honest and it answered our questions too. Excellent. Shame we had to get him to badger NBC and they couldn't volunteer the info. Oh well. At this point it's like a Christmas present, getting our 6 shows. If the dvd gets put together with some nice extras we might feel less sour about the whole thing. Seriously though, I don't see why, should they decide to burn them off, that they couldn't do us a favor and do it sooner rather than later. If they thought people were Tivo'ing before, just wait if they ran it over the summer. People gots things to do on vacation.

I personally am hoping they'll do us the courtesy of at least trying to run the show during sweeps. C'mon Raines and TBD are on the airwaves but not us? Can't I just watch Jurassic Park over and over again to get my Jeff Goldblum fix instead? (Ok not so much a fix as a guilty pleasure. The man's got charisma what can I say? I do have my limits *cough*David Spade*cough*)

Wait a second. This story says that they have a publicist. Studio 60 has someone that they pay to have a publicist. How come the publicist isn't doing any publicity to say that the show is coming back? Why does someone have to ask the publicist if there is a show? Isn't that part of the job description?

Apparently, there is a rumor going around that some people don't like this show. I think we learned our lesson a few days ago that you shouldn't believe everything you read on the internet. this Jack A** is obviously the kind of person that would find TBD entertaining because apparently from his antagonistic comments he thinks that violence is the answer to everything. Unfortunately that's not entirely true. I did a quick search of TBD for S60 screen names I remember and Herdgrad and OOYL have lots of threads that they pop up in. To her credit Chloe2007 does not (I was surprised to be honest).

I can't speak for others, but I have never been to TBD's message boards and I won't go, I watched the first episode and thought it was fairly lame. S60 is a much smarter show, but an 18 year old punk from Utah might have trouble relating to that so I can see why he would like TBD. As for the Heros paraphrase it's funny you moron!

You know that TBD best raiting is lower than s60 worst, right? You can read the raitings, right? Can you read at all?

I just put that idiot, who can't seem to utter a sentence with out using some sort of curse word, on ignore. I have nothing more to say to him, because I find him boring and fairly stupid. He needs to learn some more vocabulary words. As for TBD I feel that their time on the air is limited as the rating suck and are much worse that S60s ever were. If S60 doesn't come back so be it but I will take great joy when TBD is canceled!

I agree. S60's fans are showing very high levels of "stupidity."

The truth of the matter concerns the ability for a show to draw a crowd. Clearly Studio 60 was doing well in the very beginning, and tapered off. It kept a core audience throughout the year, but I do think the time slot was a major factor. Take a look at the Black Donnellys. Their PILOT episode did less than HALF of the ratings of Studio 60's. In addition, now into their fifth week, the show has steadily declined. Do not expect that show to be around for long either.

What bothers me so much about some of the people on these boards is that they come on here yelling gibberish, making no arguments that bare relevance to ANYTHING. Leave this board alone. You give off the "kid is his mother's basement" vibe a little too much. Please save your moronic slander for the playground, and not for the people here that are trying to stay updated on their favorite show.

Lets just please not run over to the TBD boards and start dueling flames, it's just going to bring in more a$$hats.

For a show to run for awhile, then disappear is difficult for certain people. There are some that found the show intelligent, and feel that particular quality is lacking on a show like The Black Donnellys. It's aggravating to see a show get cancelled because of a certain rating, the network brings in a new show that is steadily doing WORSE than its predecessor, and is still on the air. They are currently filming the last six episodes, and that is what people are here to learn about.

I didn't put you in any category, and I simply don't care enough to read anybody's posts on that forum as I still haven't managed to watch it (although I plan to and my Tivo holds every episode). I lumped you into no category other then to say that you posted on that forum (which was in response to the post saying that S60 fans don't post there).

That's it. Nothing more, nothing less.

I don't understand what you're trying to say to me.

At this point they don't know what they're going to do with them. Perhaps run them during the summer, or just release them on DVD. People know there are new episodes being made, and that is why they're on here. To go and mock them for it is both juvenile and moronic.

I created a profile on here a few moments ago. I was viewing the posting for the first time and noticed the complete lack of respect some of these children are showing for the other posters.

I have a great respect for Studio 60 and find it ridiculous that people would use these boards to throw insults back at each other. I simply came on here to learn more about the remaining episodes being filmed.

I find it funny that one, lone, Irish guy can get 3 whole pages of people ****** off. Ignore much? I guess not.

Forgive my tone a few minutes ago. I was honestly just making a joke. I'm half-Irish myself. I haven't met too many people who watch the Black Donnellys. I just don't have much interest in it, although I'm sure it's a show that would be probably better suited on HBO.

Lot's of them have me on ignore. I think it's because I critisize by making an actual argumentative case for or against a point while you just hurl insults and childish remarks. They ignore me but are more then willing to return your insults.

Here's an idea? Why don't you just leave, and then we'll all be happy. And who are you to question intelligence when you can't even write a functional sentence?

Go to the profile of the person or persons, in this case, you wish to ignore. Click on Option then click on Ignore User. Then add them to you ignore user list. For then on you can just skip over their post and go on. I find it VERY convenient.
