hey everyone, I know that some other ppl have shared their stories of meeting actors so I thought I would share mine as well. BJ Novak performed at Duquesne University last night. I dont go to Duquesne but i ended up getting tickets because I emailed them and BEGGED them haha.

The show was supposed to start at 8, so we left at like 6 because its about an hour and a half drive, anyway we got there and it was postponed because he missed his flight!!! so we had to stick around for 3 1/2 hours till 11 when he finally got there. but it was sooooo worth it.

I got some pics and a bunch of videos. I also got an index card with one of his jokes on and he signed it for me. He said some things about the office in the videos and out of them. i asked him if he could give any hints about the finale and I knew he wouldnt be able to say much but he did say that it would be very plot based. I tried to pry and get more but he stood his ground haha.

he's doing a stand-up comedy tour at colleges, but on his myspace it only said duquesne, then a couple places in LA so idk why he's not going to more places, that seems weird to me.


okay I can't get youtube to upload my videos so I see that photobucket does it too so Im going to try to use that. Ive never used it before so I dont know how well this will work... I think I have 8 videos but theyre really slow uploading so Ill post 4 now then when I finish the other 4 Ill post them.

also... I didn't get this on video, but someone asked what is your favorite episode and he said the injury because he felt like if someone worked in an office this is the kind of stuff they would come home and tell stories about, not everyday things like sexual harassment and he said it was just a fun episode.

yes it was pretty full. i thought since it was postponed till 11 that would cut down the crowd a lot but it didn't. There were still a lot of ppl that had to stand. Luckily I got a good seat, I was in the 2nd row. I had to wait in line for an hour afterward to get a pic with him , but again it was so worth it.

and yes i thought his stand-up was hilarious. it had to same feel as watching the episodes, which makes sense since he's a writer haha. He did a lot of "thats what she said." It wasn't part of his routine but afterward he handed out prizes (because it was also casino night there) and thats where the pics of him with the tshirt and the bobblehead came from, but anyway some of the things that he handed out were obvious TWSS moments. Im trying to remember some of them but I have a headache and Im drawing a blank, sorry.

oook this is the last evidence of my fun night I got this from BJ and he signed the back

but let me give you a little background first. Okay well part of his routine was he had these jokes written on index cards and he said these are some of the jokes he use to tell when he first started out with standup. Some of them were good, some not so good and some really bad, this was not the best of the stack, but this was pretty much just a way for him to make fun of himself and the jokes that he used to tell...


it says "the way to a mans heart is through his stomach. That's something they won't teach you in medical school" I know it's stupid but its the thought that counts haha


after the show we went up to the stage and got in line to get pics but he said we could have those cards. I just happened to be one of the lucky few that were standing by the stage so I got this and asked him to sign it for me (then one of the ladies yelled at us because she said we had to wait in line to get them signed haha)

yah I did it was a lot of fun. If anyone ever gets the chance to see him perform, do it he's so funny and he seems like a nice guy.

I remembered one last thing now that my headaches gone haha....

the only thing that he said in terms of what's coming up... there will be something to have to do with creed going in the ladies restroom... so I know there are creed fans on this board, you will be seeing him sometime soon.
