I just saw the entire thing, and while I won't be on here anymore tonight because I am at home and only have dialup, I had to get on there and just say......OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, so A. I don't know how to type behind those bar thingys. But yes I know how to highlight and read them.

B. I saw what Pam said to Jim, but it cut to commercial so I left the room for a minute. Then I got sidetracked and when I came back to the TV Scrubs was just starting. Did I miss anything after Pam gave her speach and it cut to commercial.

Also, is next week the season finale? I thought it was this week, but I admit I'm not very well informed. Plus why is TO now about 45 min. long instead of half an hour? I noticed that last week too.

I am smiling and crying at the same time! I can't believe how incredible that was. The whole season built up to that moment. I am so proud of Pam!!!



I love that she didn't tell him that she wanted him and loved him. She simply misses her best friend (oh, here come the tears again).



I truly think the character of Pam represents the fear that all of us have inside of us. The fear that we're not good enough, that we don't deserve to be happy, that no one appreciates us.



Oh, it was sooooo beautiful.

If possible, I'd love for someone to transcribe her speech on this thread for discussion. Unfortunately, I don't get my iTunes episode till tomorrow after lunch so I am really feeling even more deprived now that the show is over!

The only thing after the confession was a tag of the whole office singing the Flinstone's theme on the bus. It was cute because they were totaly out of character and you could tell it was the cast just having fun. The office is still 3o minutes long. The last two episodes have been supersized. Although, there is talk of extending the show to an hour next season.

It's because they have information in them about tonights episode. The flans on the west coast have yet to see the glory that was Beach Games and we don't want to spoil them. You can scroll over them to view them.

NursePearl, the black bars are spoiler bars so our friends waiting to see the show can enjoy the episode without knowing what is coming. You can read them by "highlighting" the area.

They are "spolier bars", black bars that people like to put over their posts so they won't ruin anything for the fans who don't read spoilers or haven't seen the episode yet. All you have to do is highlight over them if you want to read them. smile.gif

What an awesome speech. I love that she chose to come forward on her own. I was certain she was going to wait for a "now or never" situation, but she didn't. She was so awesome in the scene. Being forced to the sidelines all day, ignored and excluded. She stands up for herself, walks on those coals and for the first time tells Jim the way it is. Absolutely incredible. Now what happens? Next week we will get to watch poor James try and wrap his brain around this. Ahh if only I had his problems.

I too would love someone to transcribe it. I was having such a panic attack at the time that I only remember bits and pieces of what was said. I need a Tivo!!!!

I just rewatched the last part over and over and over!! Jim really looked guilty when she called him on not coming to the art show!! And he didn't know what to think as she kept talking!!! I loved this Pam!!! Good for her. And did anyone notice the look Angela gave Jim...she almost looked like she felt for him (and Pam). .

I know I just said I wish I had James' problems. Well I need to redact that. He was just shown how much he has hurt Pam over the course of the past season. He has missed it because he was wrapped up in his own pain. Now her pain is right there in front of him, and he needs to deal with it. This is what he has been denying all season, not his feelings for her, but her feelings for him. I don't know how he will be able to handle knowing that he has hurt Pam the way he has. (Not that Pam is not without her share of culpability in this situation, but still Jim cares about Pam and the hurt he caused will be what keeps him up at night. That and Karen's long talks.)
Jim will be very interesting to watch next week. It is quite a journey ahead of him.

Poor Karen... and she was having so much fun.. I was screaming noo Karen has taken Jim away the doors of closing... little did I remember Pam steps in at just the right time!! biggrin.gif

Let us hope that Karen knows she can not compet with Pam.. IMO Karen should just break it off now.. she knows now that Pam is in the picture she can't last long!!

Yeah I love that Pam told him how HE hurt HER!! we all know he can't stand to see Pam hurt by anyone, but I bet it is crushing Him that He was the one who hurt her!!

He is going to want to make it better ( I hope) And she told him the one question that was never answered.. why did she break up that wedding?? Well Halpert you got your answer now WHAT are you going to do with it??

THAT is my favorite part!!! I mean she did not tell him I love you are anything.. she called him out on the pian she has been through... but THAT statement was starting to get to the heart of the matter.. which is why she stoped I mean she was not going to say everything with his girlfriend right there!!

hmm I wonder.. just what is going to happen next week?? I really hope a LOT of ground is covered!!

The last time Pam told Jim things were "weird" was in the Jinx episode...and we all know how that ends...Jim ended up buying Pam the coke, after she went and got it first. Jim didn't think to go get the coke himself...Pam went and got it, just like she went and got Jim's attention in this episode. Me thinks Jim is going to buy Pam that coke next episode!!!! .

Thanks for typing this. Now THIS is courage and honesty! Of course I have a small issue with some things, but I will not throw that out there now... I will enjoy this moment for what it is, as it is with every other long suffering JAMmer.
