OK I just have to say- on the Office home page, there's a link that says you can watch the preview for next week. But it has absolutely no spoilers. It's more of a summary of what happened last night, just setting things up for next Thursday. I think everyone should check it out. It has Pam's speech and lots of shots of Jim's face. *Sigh* Can't WAIT for next week. We are totally having an Office party at my house.
Thanks for the heads-up! That was a very cool recap.

I just bought season 1 & 2 the other day (I know I know what was I waiting for?!) and my husband is also going out of town next week and my plan is to re-watch seasons 1 & 2. (or as much as I can) It will be so nice to watch with out comments about me being obsessed. That is why I love these boards – because there are so many others like me!

Yours too?? Mine thought I'd totally lost it last night & all of my co-workers think I'm insane. I love y'all too! At least if we are crazy, we're all crazy together!

Here's the debut of my official punishment. Get ready to suffer through this signature for the next three days.
That is painful, QoE.
I won't allow myself to say nice things about HER until she's out of Scranton & away from Jim. Then I might, but only if she hasn't been mean to Pam on her way out.

Maybe the next bet should be about the possibility of a JAM kiss. I think that is the big gamble us Jammers are hoping for. We can have one side betting that James and Pamela will kiss and another side that says no, it will just be a knowing smile.
If I were a betting woman, I would bet YES for a kiss, but (1) I don't know how to make fancy signatures & (2) I refuse to have a pro-KF anything. But throw me on the pro-kiss side for funsies.

I was thinking the same thing as you. A Tim/Dawn ending to S3 would be delicious. I just really hope we don't get our hearts broken on this one. I'm still hoping for a kiss. Dare to dream.
I guess I'm just brimming w/ optimism after last night, but I really think something good is waiting for us in the finale. I do not think TPTB would give us this long miserable season w/o a happy finale. I've said for a while that after Pam tells Jim, I will not worry b/c he loves her - he just needs to rediscover it - and he will.
QUOTE
Oh, Pam, what a heartbreaking video! He goes from shock, to pain, to confusion. Jim has some soul searching to do.
I just posted this same thing somewhere else - so true. I didn't realize he was hurt/upset until I saw the screen cap. Poor Jim. Pam is there for you now!
QUOTE (Lemoñadé @ May 11 2007, 11:18 PM)

Everyone at work kept asking why I was so cheerful and upbeat today, and its all because of Pam. Yeah...good day.
Same here! That's pretty bad, huh?

I have been trying to figure out what is going through jim's mind while Pam is talking, and I noticed a lot of guilt and hurt with the obvious shock. I don't think he is going to get angry at her for spilling everything. When he has time to digest everything he is going to be more proud of her than anything and very sorry. Karen, however, is not going to sit around and watch. I think she is going to give Jim an ultinatum (sp?). Either move to New York with her or breakup. This week is going to be Jim's episode to decide what he wants.
True. Even if he doesn't get angry, he still needs to get all of that crap that's been building since CN (& before) out of him. It's been festering & burdening him all year. He can get it out w/o hurting Pam again & it will allow her to show him how she can be trusted w/ his heart now. Is it really a contest of who he wants??? Seriously, how much soul searching will he really have to do?
QUOTE
Did anyone else notice that when Pam is eager to walk across the coals, Jim says he won't do it because he does not want to get his feet burned? I think this is sybolic of where they both stand on the topic of a "more than that" relationship. Pam is willing to dive in head first while Mr. Halpert is still very afraid of getting burned again.
What a great point, Lemonade!

I can't decide if I want't this week to go by super-fast or super-slow. I need to know what happens, but 3 months without The Office is going to be heck.
True, but I need to know NOW. The next 5-1/2 days are going to DRAG. If S3 ends well, I will keep myself busy by re-watching it all over. And you know those talented fanfic writers will keep us entertained as well.
