Can we remain spoiler free on the therapy site for this week? Those black bars are just too tempting for those of us that are trying to remain spoiler free. Thank you for your cooperation during this anxious and challenging time!
Thanks Beeswax!
I really wanted to suggest this earlier but didn't figure it was my place to do so. But you're the thread creator, so you go girl!

And my bet for the finale is the same as I've stated before. Jim moves back to his old desk. We know Ryan took that desk in the first place so that Jim would be forced to take the Desk of Estrangement for this season. Symbolism: facing Karen, back to Pam. Now there HAS to be a reason why Michael banished Ryan to the Annex. And that the desk is STILL empty, even since Andy has returned. I thought HE might want to confiscate the desk to be nearer to Michael's office. Or even Karen, to be nearer to Jim. But, no, the desk is still empty. For one reason and one reason only. Jim will reclaim the Desk of Love during the finale. Symbolic of his answer to Pam's speech: she misses him and the fun they used to have...i.e. S2. As they rebuild their friendship next season, "more than that" will gradually become a reality. I hope, I hope, I hope....

I love this idea & "Desk of Love", but I still think we'll get more than this. I really do. I don't know why, but I have a feeling. Michael's words from Booze Cruise WILL come back to Jim: "Don't ever, ever, EVER give up."

I woke up in a bad JAM mood today. The hope and excitement has warn off and now I only have fear and dispair... ( and no this was not brought on by any spoilers) Guys help, This is just not good!
Mrs. Halpert, come on! Stay strong! Remember ^^ Michael's advice! Pam is Jim's cheeseburger! It will happen!

There is no room for JAM bad moods. Just look at the way Jim stared straight at Pam the entire time she was talking. He simply is not over her. Hypothetically speaking...I think we're gonna figure out the end to that statement. He now KNOWS why Pam called off the wedding...he now KNOWS she wants more...he is no fool! And he just looked at her too long and with so much pain, hope and love...I just can't feel anything but good things are ahead. Now, they may not declare their undying love for eachother, but I do think it's on and they will clear some much needed air. I just feel it...
Anyone think of the scenario that no one gets the job in NY???? All three will still be in Scranton this season...
Amen sedimentary! I actually had this thought today, but I don't see Karen in Scranton much longer. She doesn't like anything about it - the town, Michael, co-workers, etc. The only thing she does like is Jim & I think she's telling herself she likes him more than she REALLY does (esp. once she figures out she doesn't like the "real" Jim).

Late season CR ended bad and then CN ended good. SO if BG ended good will the last episode end bad??
Nope, don't believe it. TPTB are not that cruel. As hubby keeps telling me, "it's a TV show!" Translation: They're not going to alienate devoted flans by spending 3 seasons building up to JAM, then bringing us THIS close & yanking it all away. WON'T HAPPEN. (I'm not saying they're going to be a full-on couple by the end of S3. I'm saying we'll at least be pointing that direction.)
QUOTE (mybestfriend @ May 12 2007, 01:35 PM)

This is what has me going too, PH. We just don't know what Jim's reaction will be. In light of all that is new and fancy about Pam, I think I've lost sight of how much poor Jim has been through. And I worry about how he's going to react. He could be outraged which will break my heart. Or he could not react at all, which will mean that it is all brewing deep inside. If Karen had any self respect, she'd tell him to go figure it all out. I don't mean to be hard on her but puleeze, she has heard from Jim's own lips that he still has feelings for Pam... Oh well, that's been talked to death.
Paraphrasing Vinny: "There is no way Jim will ignore Pam's speech." He may try to tell himself he doesn't want to go down that road again, but then he will realize that he could have everything he always wanted w/ Pam & decide to go for it. He'll still be afraid, but he'll realize it's worth the risk.

As we all know, a true JAM flan teeters on the edge of giddiness and despair.
The only thing that makes me nervous is that sometimes, in real life, people like Jim and Pam never get together. I think a lot of people have their "one that got away" and it becomes something they look back on with regret. I'm worried that the writers may follow this "authentic" path for these characters.
Re: 1st statement, TRUE DAT. 2nd statement: No way. This is TV.

SOOOOOOOOO CUTE!!!!! THANKS!

Yes, that is one of my most favorite endings too!! It's like Jim looks at Michael, thinking, "women!" and Michael says, "yeah, whatcha gonna do?" I LOVE that ending.
I love that too. Michael's & Jim's love lives have always paralleled each other - there is a lot more to that...I feel a summer project coming on.

I have given up on anything JAM related. Even though they are my 3rd favorite couple, I still like them together but seriously have given up hope.
See above, OH!!! We don't tolerate JAM negativity around here.
