The comment I saw from Jenna was from a long time ago and it had nothing to do with the finale. It was more just about Jim and Pam as people and some feedback she had given the writers/producers about that relationship. It just concerned me, because she seems to be a really strong personality in the cast and I think she probably has more influence than others in terms of leading the show one way or another (aside from the actors that also write/direct -- come to think of it, there are a lot of those!). Anyways, I read one time where she was trying to convince John Krasinski that he really is cute, which apparently he did not believe, and so for that reason I always thought of Jenna as being more a leader among the cast. So I was concerned that the feedback she was giving might be more on the line of negative JAM -- like JAM ending with a mutual understanding that they love each other but aren't the one for each other. Like a brother-sister thing or something.
And this is too cute. My husband and I have started sending our two year old back and forth to tell the other one something when we are out of shouting distance, like "Tell Daddy to turn the upstairs light off" or "Go tell Mommy the laundry is done." Well, one day, I sent him over to my husband to say "You're Mommy's Jim Halpert." It was sooooooo cute! And my husband laughed.

I remember that! Beeswax and I had a huge conversation about it. We came to the conclusion that Jenna was talking about in the long run. you know if The office goes to 10 seasons, and Jim adn Pam don't seem like they flow together as much as we want, then they can break up and just be important in eachother lives.
The main thing I got from that article is that the writers and her want what is best for the characters. Don't forget she also said they would not keep them apart for longer than they need to.
I like this idea, I like that they feel when they put JAM together, if it is not doing well, or the characters seem to be better off alone, that the writers will let the relationship follow the course. I see where Jenna is coming from. I also know she said that same statement last year before CN. She likes to make us go crazy, she also has been asked a LOT of JAM questions and I think she tends to make new answers that are very nebulose

Do not put to much stock in that interview. Really all but that one has been quite positive, I think she was talking in the long run. She did say who knows?
Agian, the fact that they talk about that and do what is right for the characters, make me feel much better, because I know they do not want to drag it on to long! Which is a very good thing!
They have a lot of control, NBC gives them a lot of control over that story line because well, tey have done a good job with it!!
if you need anymore positive thoughts, just tell me and I will PM you a nonspoiler positive comment that was made at upfronts!!
Well to me it is not a spoiler because I already knew it, but to others it might be. I am sure everyone knows it by now though.
Feel better?? Yeah?? good!! just take a step back and breathe!!
OHH you are mommy's Jim Halpert!!! AWWW

that is just way to cute for words!! I want a Jim Halpert... ( but this is not about me

)
