Funny you should mention my signature and ask me about my bet in the same post! Well, I am a girl who went to Vegas and instead of gambling used my money to buy a pair of Doc Martens (Hey, it was the '90s--I don't wear them anymore.) My logic was that I would rather have something to show for my money. My husband calls me "The Cooler" b/c when I am at a Craps table with him, he loses money. Sooooo, the point I am trying to make is I don't like to bet and I looooove my signature so much, I don't want to take a chance of losing it, not even for three days.

I think I am going to step aside and let you all have fun, and I'm going to wear my Doc Martens. Thank you sedimentary, I think I am only about 15 posts away!

i just watched disc 4 of season 2 today (while doing algebra, which is a GREAT feat of min-Huzzah!:D) and i started to cry.


i need help.

^^^Oh TAS, I give you credit for even trying. I can't bring myself to watch any S2 right now..If for no other reason, looking at Jim's natural hair makes me sigh. *SIGH*

Hopefully after Thursday, we'll all be rejoicing and we will able to once watch S2 and smile.

Not that this is a direct parallel to JAM, but my best friend was dating her boyfriend in college for two years and he broke up with her because he had never had another girlfriend. They each found a new boyfriend/girlfriend respectively and each lasted a year with their new person. My friend was seriously planning her wedding to her new boyfriend, even though we all knew he was wrong for her. At the end of the year, her old boyfriend called her and asked to see her. He begged her to go back with him. He said he was sorry, he was wrong and he loved and missed her. She really did love him all along.

Anywho..to make a long story, even longer, they have now been happily married for 15 years and have 3 beautiful children.

My point is that someday, Jim and Pam will look back at Karen--and Roy I suppose, as blips on their radar.

Does that make any sense??? I don't know..but it was fun telling the story.

Less than 48 hours now!!! I am so excited I can't even stand it. Tonight hubby & I saw Spidey 3 - nice diversion. It was good, worth seeing.

Tomorrow night I don't have anything planned (friend not visiting now), so I think I will work out, make dinner, play on the boards, maybe watch The Notebook/Desperate Housewives, go to bed early - anything to make it Thursday!

So on to JAM - I was going to say I'm on the fence, but I'm not - Jim absolutely, positively cannot move to NY w/ KF. End of story. He still loves Pam. Jim still loves Pam.

Those sound like great suggestions. I definitely be taking all of those into consideration. I think I'll need more than one excuse to make them leave me completely alone. I had drunk Mother's Day at my house, burned my arm while pouring the boiling water out of a pot & then had to go to work the next day! It was very fun on Sun, not so much on Mon. Hope you're feeling okay today, PH - though you're prob bloated from all of that water!
