I watch The Office because of you and now we're not even friends and things are just weird between us and that sucks and I miss you.
That's how I feel too!! John's eyes are mesmerizing in one of those upfront headshots, I stared at it way too much yesterday. He makes me want to do bad things.

Yeah, JK never listens to me.... but that doesn't keep me from talking to him anyway
Pam Halpert, I really hope you don't have a hangover this morning. I can completely sympathize with you. I have drank a whole bottle of wine in an hour as well, and let's just say it did not end pretty, and the headache didn't go away for almost a whole day. Hopefully you can just sleep through it and you don't have much to do today.

Did anyone read the post on John's thread about him and Rashida? Ick. Why can't he just pick someone else so it doesn't look like he's choosing Karen over Pam? Let me think of someone . . . .

Like ewwwww! They CAN'T be together because that would mean he's not with Pam. And Jenna's happily married in RL and this is all just too weird. That sounds smart. Sometimes when I see him and Jenna together, he seems to be kind of ambivalent about her, but she seems to want to impress him a little bit. Its a sad dynamic to watch, so I am a little better off not watching them in real life.

I'm sure they get along fine in real life. Sometimes what happens is you carry over what is happening on screen into seeing something that is not there. Jim and Pam aren't getting along on air so maybe we think we see something between John and Jenna. I am going to believe it's all good.

Ok, so I just finished watching The Dundies, and I have to say

. . . That is such a great episode, but I have this tight feeling in my chest, ready to burst with tears because of all the HOPE that episode left us with! Think about how much speculation would be going on at the end of an episode like that one --
1. Jim fights for Pam's feelings with Michael concerning her Dundie (so sweet!)
2. Pam fights with Roy in the parking lot -- the first fight we see, and it looked pretty bad.
3. She and Jim have fun all night, and then she KISSES him!

4. She wants so badly at the end to "ask him something" but doesn't
I know the first time I saw the Dundies I thought they would moving their relationship along very soon. But alas. . . .

S3 - UGH!
All I'm saying is, they could continue to drag this out for a long time. The things we think mean so much sometimes dont mean as much as we would like for them to. For instance, I thought after WA, that Karen would be far more estranged from Jim - but look how close they looked in Beach Games.
I dont want to put a damper on anything but I think that we may not be seeing much of anything positive in the finale.

Dont hate me.

I agree. I think most of The Job will set the scene for season 4, and I'm not convinced that the writers are very far along on writing new episodes (though I'm sure they've started).
If you're expecting the BIG Jim / Pam face-off (pun intended

), I think you may very well be disappointed. If you expect Jim to decide whether his heart lies with Pam or Karen, you'll probably be disappointed too. Besides, if you compare how S2 ended (Casino Night) with how S3 started (Gay Witch Hunt), I think you'd agree that a lot can happen in the interim. It's a lock that's what will happen here. The S4 kickoff will probably change a lot of the things we'll be thinking after Thursday night.

QUOTE (Awkward @ May 14 2007, 09:45 PM)

I agree with Queen of England that Team Voldemort is too general. I have ran this past Beeswax and got the thumbs up, so here is my idea.
First bet will predict the ending.
1- Cliffhanger?
2- Subtle yet positive JAM interaction
3- JAM kiss
Second Bet is who or what will be the catalyst for Jim's awakening to Pam's speech and the truth.
Team Voldemort: These are people who think Karen will either make a huge mistake with Jim, or get sick of his indecision and call him out to be fair to both her and Pam.
Team Sandals: This group is betting on Jim's experience in New York, but mostly Michael to create a chain of events that leads Jim back to Pam.
Team Griffindor: This group is betting on a Dwangela revelation in the finale. This means that someone other than Jim and Pam find out about our secret office lovebirds.
Team USA: The bet here is about Andy/Drew losing and having another "incident" of anger. I am really impressed at how long Andy has kept it together so far, but he must be bottling a lot inside.
Team Blue: Phyllis was on this team and this bet would involve the belief that Phyllis will play a part in getting JAM together. It could be a well-placed comment or an outright action to get these two together.
I'm going to add one more team to this bet, and that's
Team Awesome: This group is gambling big. It is the bet that all of the above things will happen in the season finale: happy JAM kiss, Dwangela revelation, Andy meltdown, Phyllis as a JAM guardian angel, insulting words from Kevin, Karen interaction, and Toby. Lets say at least four of the seven must occur.
Team Scrantonicity: These are people who think Kevin will say something to Jim or Karen about Pam. Contributed by MarkedArm.
Team HR: These people believe Toby will make a move on Pam that will prompt Jim to action.
These could be the stakes. They are just suggestions.
Win both –JAM signature
Win first, Lose second - Karen signature
Lose first, Win second – Sad Jim signature
Lose both – JAREN signature

I forgot about that one. Thanks for posting it VERYgood. Now I am so sad though. He loooooooovvvves her so much. How, How, HOW would he possibly choose Karen over Pam. It just can't happen. *SIGH* I am teetering on JAM depression right now.
I think by tomorrow we'll be all on the edge. I do have high hopes, but what is exciting is that anything is possible.
Just keep using JAM visualization. If you dream it, it wil come.

Do not fear, Office Obsessed. I know they will throw us a big JAM moment tommorow. They want us to obsess and talk about it all summer long. They know if they don't, JAM fever might cool off....We need that moment to get us through the long hot summer...And, I am confident we are going to get it!!

I like your thinking. A big, juicy JAM kiss would keep us going all summer long.

Thanks for picking up the ball, Queen.
Being a Grade One teacher, I don't sit at a computer to do my work. I spent a big part of my day today on the floor teaching kids how to count with plastic money. Good times!
Sooooo, here is the most recent wager list. I did start to write down some names, but this is a much better way to organize it.
Bet #1:
1- Cliffhanger = gatorjenni, Awkward
2- Subtle yet positive JAM interaction = mybestfriend, QueenOfEngland, bubblewrap
3- JAM kiss = poorman'sMichaelScott
Bet #2:
Team Voldemort: mybestfriend
Team Sandals: QueenOfEngland, Awkward, poorman'sMichaelScott
Team Griffindor:
Team USA:
Team Blue:
Team Awesome: gatorjenni
Team Scrantonicity: bubblewrap
Team HR:
Since I am moderating this wager, I do not bet. I think you probably all know where I would stand, anyway.
Can someone refresh my memory about the stakes? I know there is a pro-JAM sig for the winners and a pro Karen or JAREN sig. But does this apply to Bet 1 or Bet 2?

Any time! I was just so ready to start the games and I'm looking for anything that will keep me from watching the clock.

I'm so ready for tomorrow night!

I think you have to win both bets to be considered a winner.
Hm, another sig wager....
Am I the only one that's up for raising the stakes in this last bet? It'll be our last chance this season, and I'm thinking it deserves a wager that's at least as big as the episode itself! Any takers?

What did you have in mind, Queen? Are we going to avatars involved?
