PH, regarding Pam and Jim embarking on an intimate relationship, I don't expect them to jump into bed, but once Karen is extracted from the picture and they are both single, they will be able to take a deep breath and relax. Then, their relationship can go at the pace it needs to. They love and want each other. It will happen.

I would actually love this scenario. I've seen some changes in Halpert that I'm not comfortable with. I'm pretty convinced that he went of his own volition behind Michael's back to get that interview which is directly in conflict with his reaction to Josh leveraging his promotion to get a job at Staples. ("Say what you will about Michael Scott...he would never do THAT.) I think it would be fine if he had first mentioned it, but that he just did it seems totally foreign to me. I fear that I may not know Jim at all anymore! However, when I see glimpses of the old Jim I know and love, I will be much more comfortable having him courting ol' Pammy...ahem...Pam. So as long as he's making progress, if it takes him a little while to get there, that's ok with me.

OK, did anyone ever watch the TV show Felicity? Well, i was SOOOOO disappointed how they ended that show. She chose the wrong guy, in my opinion and I was just so sad!!! To this day, I have a hard time watching it!

If the writers/producers decided to keep Jim and Karen together, it can only be temporarily. The show hasn't set her up as a loveable character, and if she won't be able to do TO full time, then how would they develop her as a loveable character. She is sympathic and likeable, at best, but they would have a mutiny on their hands if they maintained this relationship in the long run.

It just hit me: if this is going the way it has been, in S3, a Corporate decision was made to run it this way. If this is a comedy, a more natural and lighter chain of events could have kept the whole thing going
for everyone. I'd have been happier, just to see Jim chase Pam around a desk. Ofcourse, I wish they'd have both gone for the gold, on CN! There's an old saying "Hollywood was ruined when directors, producers and writers lost control and the bankers took over!"

The writers have us just where they want us. Everyone is thinking Jim will mess this up. Just go over and read the JP thread for proof (wait dont). This season has set us up to lower our expectations. That way, when they hit us with Jam tonight we will be shocked and thrilled ant peeing ourselves like we were last May.

In a way I think it's better that no one is expecting it. If it was too obvious then I wouldent trust that Jam will happed so much. These writers are all about hitting us with something when we least expect it.

Repeat after me... Jim is ready. He loves pam. He has been ready for a year.

There is a reason tptb have shown us little glimpses of old Jim mixed in with the new. to let us know that old Jim is still there behind the wall. when the wall crumbles, we will get our old Jim back.

Pam, please don't freak out! And now would be a really good time to stop visiting the JP. You've already read scrantonbranch's post, and really, what else is there to read unless you want to get sucked into a heated debate that will only depress you? (just MHO, that's all)
I actually have a theory that starts out with Jim and Pam being friends again: (this is all spoiler-free speculation!) I think season 4 will begin with Karen long gone, and a nice little talking head from Jim and Pam each, in which they explain that after everything they've gone through, right now they've decided to just be friends. Meanwhile, it's just like season 2 all over again. The pranking, the giggling, the looks. Then in the middle of season 4 out of nowhere: the bombshell. The camera catches them somewhere or in some "compromising" position that sheds light on the fact that they've been dating the whole time. I really want to see them in the beginnings of their relationship, but at this point I'd sacrifice that to have season 2 Jim and Pam back again. It'd also be a nice way for the writers to not let their relationship take over the whole show.
Anyways, think happy thoughts! The hour is almost upon us!

Okay, only two hours and six minutes to go for me (central). And I have just had a major revelation. Tonight is going to be a good night for JAM, I can feel it. I was just rewatching Pam's speech from BG and I realized I am wearing almost the EXACT same thing as her. I have curly hair today, pulled back (and I haven't worn either curly or pulled back hair for quite some time), and I'm wearing jean capris and a pink shirt under a black shirt. I love this! This has been a speculation of mine for a long time! Great Flans think a like. I love the idea of the writers using the mocumentary format to completly throw us off and blow us away. This show is different than others in that the camera isn't all seeing and all knowing. We are only privy to the footage the documentary crew shoots. Something like this is totaly possible in TO universe. I love the way this show is constantly suprising us. How awesome would it be in November sweeps to find out that Jim and Pam have already been dating for a few months? Awesome!!!

Last year at this time, I wasn't a huge office fan...my husband and I picked it up part way through the season (2)...so we weren't die hards at that point. I watched the finale by myself because he was out of town...and I actually FELL ASLEEP and woke up in time to see Jim and Pam kiss!!!! I couldn't believe it!!! So, needless to say, when I got my Birthday present in Dec, which was season 1 of the office...obviously, I picked myself up Season 2 of the office for Christmas. (I love to get my own presents!!). So the first thing I watched was CN so I could see what I missed. I will not fall asleep tonight!!! The Office is the sole reason I switched and got a DVR!! Addicted much? I think so!!
One hour and fifteen minutes till we know all we're supposed to know! I still say FNB is going to wear her maroon shirt in this episode. Let's see if i am right!
