Krasinski was filming a movie that required him to have shorter hair, so from Cocktails up until Beach Games (how did they find a ball cap big enough to fit over that thing) he was wearing a wig. A scary, weirdly coloured wig that made him look pale and sad.

I'm thinking there would have been some very serious kisses goodnight after dinner and maybe a few weeks of waiting, but there is no way they would be able to keep their hands off each other for 3 months. They were fighting keeping their hands off of eachother when they weren't dating.

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes JAM with a baby carriage.

Yeah, I knew all the JAREN crap was to be expected. Little did they know they couldn't fool such diehard JAM lovers as us! Pam was so optimistic and awesome this entire episode. The "absolutely I do" had me grinning from ear to ear. When he saw the note and the yogurt lid and then they flashed back to the lake, the tears were pouring down my face. I knew it would be ok at that point. After the lake scene, and "I wish you would", the camera shows Pam at her desk once again, and what's in the foreground? Jim's old empty desk. I was almost positive at that moment that my wish would come true. Jim would walk in and take back his desk. But of course the writers made me much happier, when Pam is doing her TH, sad thinking that she lost Jim, but happy for him, and realizing that she will be ok no matter what. Then James interrupts to shyly ask her out to dinner. OMG. And Pam's happy smile with tears welling up. Just perfect.

BTW, which team actually won? Several characters were involved. Mostly Pam obviously, but Michael said some stuff about if he took the job he would be a bad boyfriend that Jim overheard. Karen probably got under his skin with the pushing to get out of Scranton bit. Karen also asked Pam to make the copies of the sales reports, which allowed Pam to slip in the note and yogurt lid. Kevin also was making Jim think with the Pam/Karen comparisons. I think all of the above contributed, but in the end it was FNB herself who convinced Jim about where he wants to be 10 years down the road.

I really think this ep was a tribute to the JAM relationship. The "Absolutely, I do", Pam acting like Jim with Dwight and the yogurt lid. It's almost like Pam was reflecting back on all of the good times with Jim because he could be going. It's probably the first time that she's felt confident enough to do so in a public way.

Man, these two are going to rock next season!

Wow, I've never been good at predicting shows before. I guess it wasn't that impressive since my idea came from the original office. I was getting a little worried about 20 minutes from the end. My hubby was saying, "I don't think you're going to get your JAM ending". I was teetering, for sure, but I held fast and channeled the power of the JAM force.
