Great to see you in the JAM Therapy Lounge CS! I love those voicemails at the end of The Carpet too and the look on Jim's face as he's listening to them and pondering them. wub.gif (Okay, now I'm REALLY going to go watch The Sopranos!! wink.gif )

Hey, Collapsing Star! Good to see you in here.

I think this is what you are looking for:

Pam Voicemail #1: Hey Jim, it's Pam. I keep looking up to say something to you, and then Michael's there, and it's horrible. Anyway, I'm bored. Come BACK.

Pam Voicemail #2: Hey, guess what. I moved my computer so I can't see Michael's head. It's working. I think I can have a career as a very specific type of decorator.

Pam Voicemail #3: Sudoku. Level moderate. Time, 18 minutes. Suck on that, Halpert.

Pam Voicemail #4: I'll transfer you. Dunder Mifflin, this is Pam. Hold please. Dunder Mifflin, this is … okay, sorry, Michael was standing at my desk and I needed to be busy or who knows what would have happened, so thank you.

Pam Voicemail #5: Hey, what's that word we made up when you have a thing stuck in your shoe? Anyway, I have a thing stuck in my shoe.

Pam Voicemail #6: Hey, I have a chance to sneak out of here early, and I'm not messing this up, so, I'll see you tomorrow.

Pam Voicemail #7: Calling from my cell phone. I don't know if you guys figured out who did that to Michael's carpet yet, but I have a theory that involves an interdepartmental conspiracy. Everybody in the office. We need to talk.

Thanks Officetally!

*Edit* PMS, you are a quicker draw than me!

Ok, I'm going to start a topic. Fave JAM quotes. I know we've done fave JAM moments, but let's do things that they have said to each other.

Jim: "Hi"
Pam: "Hey"
Beeswax_Not_Yours_Inc.
I'm going to jump in with another. The very first JAM quote:

Pam: I have an important question for you.
Jim: Yes.
Pam: Um, are you going to Angela’s cat party on Sunday? (Laughs)
Jim: Yeah, stop. That is ridiculous.
verygood
"Well, I wish you would"

(obviously)

Here is my favorite Jam quote:

Jim: (gettting down on one knee and pulling a box out of his pocket).Pam, I love you so much. These past couple of years have been the most amazing of my life, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?

Pam: (with tears in her eyes). Absolutly I will.

I believe this quotation is from episode 5/23 entitled The Proposal. It's a good one. You guys should really check it out!

So, how do you guys think JAM spent thier first weekend together?
_pamcasso_
From the Merger immediately after they hug:
Jim: "The place looks great" never taking his eyes off of Pam, not even setting foot in the actual office.

^^^^^ I never caught this. I guess it's because I have only allowed myself to watch TM twice. It just hurts too much for casual viewing. I guess it's safe now to re-watch all these "Scary" episodes knowing the awesomeness to come. It's A Date!

Uh, hi, Mybestfriend. Thanks for the support you have given Pam and me. Uh, I was wondering if you were free for dinner tonight? Pam's got her art class tonight and I want to plan something really special for her. I'd love your advice. I'm willing to sit down with you and chat for hours. Also, I'll let you know how our other dates have gone so far. Anyways, what do you think?

I also think we should all go and see "License to Wed" on the same day and come back here to talk about it.

I think someone mentioned that idea a while back. I don't know anyone in RL that is that into JK as I am, so I may just go alone.

What do you think?

Oh yeah, I want to see it too! For JK. But I don't think I have anyone to see it with. Hubby is not interested and it probably wouldn't be a good idea to see it with him anyways.
July 4th is the release date right?

Ok, I think this topic has ended but one of my fave Jam scenes is in Basketball when they talk about who's going to win and I think Jim says something along the lines of "Is that trash talk from Pam?" I can't remember her line before that but she gives that Oh! expression, so cute, the back and forth.

Love that scene, too! Here it is:

Jim: You gonna wish me luck?
Pam: Yeah, you’re gonna need it.
Jim: Whoa, is that trash talk from Pam?
Pam: I’m just saying, Roy is very competitive.
Jim: Oh.
Pam: And he wants to take the wave runners to the lake this Saturday, so…
Jim: Well, I’m going to the outlet mall on Saturday, so if you wanna save big on brand names … (Pam laughs) … and Roy has to work, which he will, because I’m also competitive, you should feel free to come along.
Pam: Um, I think I’m gonna be up at the lake
Jim: I think I’ll see you at the mall … yeah.

Oh well, I guess I'm glad there's you tube and the NBC home page.

Pam: No. I have a life.
Jim: Interesting, what's that like?
Pam: You should try it sometime.
Jim: Wow. But then who would watch my TV?

Oh, and here's my new sig. Yeah! I changed it on Thursday night after losing the bet, so now I'm onto JAM happiness. Do you think it's too big?

PMS, that's one of my all-time favorite Jam moments. It's so simple, but their easy banter just tells you everything you need to know about them.

And I LOVE the new sig! I think it's just perfect. (Is it even possible for JK to be too big? I certainly don't think so.)

Yes, pMS, that is a great scene. What I love about it too is that when Michael comes and interrupts them, Jim gets really irritated and even groans I think. You can tell that he just wanted to enjoy/bask in Pam's laughter, and Michael killed it.

OK, so I'm not Bees, but I'm handing out homework anyway! Just consider me a sub or maybe a TA. biggrin.gif Let's all watch both The Alliance and Office Olympics. I didn't like that JAM Therapy was down toward the bottom of the page, so I'm bumping it up!! I will take you up on your assignment, poorman's, and I will watch The Alliance and Office Olympics...ahhh good times!! And good times are a comin!

Oh, I modified a song a bit that we were all listening to around the finale time...so instead of singing to Jim, hey, hey, you, you I don't like your girl friend...I have been singing,

"hey, hey, you, you, i really love your new girl friend!!!"

It makes me happy!

Oh, and here's my new sig. Yeah! I changed it on Thursday night after losing the bet, so now I'm onto JAM happiness. Do you think it's too big?

First of all, TWSS.

Second of all, your sig is perfect. I could have Jim leaning in my doorway all day long and never get tired of it.

OK, so I'm not Bees, but I'm handing out homework anyway! Just consider me a sub or maybe a TA. biggrin.gif Let's all watch both The Alliance and Office Olympics. Then we can celebrate how Jam's history made them who they are today! Of course, that statement could be said about anyone. Hmmm. I don't care, off to watch TO! laugh.gif

You can hand out homework anytime!

I did hand out that homework earlier on and suggested watching "The Job" along with those eps. It is an excellent way to celebrate Jam's history. Good thinking!

Watching the S2 eps are so much sweeter now that I know they are together. I haven't gotten the guts to watch The Merger and PW again, but maybe in a while. It should be part of my therapy to face my demons and recover from a JAM angst season.

Good Morning from the friendly neighborhood library!!!

This morning I ran while "watching" Office Olympics" and I think I had a single tear! I just kept on thinking about the do not forget US.... Jim had so much fun that day with everyone mot just Pam. He started all the games and he got to know his workers more, and in the end he furthered his many office friendships. Thus when asked what he missed the most about Scronton? He missed THAT day! He missed having fun with every one esp. Pam! And then he was asked where do you see yourself in 10 years and well what he saw was beach day and Pam saying she missed his friendship, and Jim finally seeing that he never really came back. It was as if he saw that he was going to lose a lot more if he stayed at corporate. He was not only going to lose a chance with Pam, but also his awesome friendships that he took for granted until now, even the one with Dwight. ( He missed it the very first episode, as did we all) That memo ment so much more to him, it ment that he used to have fun with everyone, and that everyone would talk to him. It ment that Pam beliveled in him, heck many of the workers believed in him. It ment getting back to what he lost of himself. It meant being happy.....It meant having friends!!!!

( WOW, wonder if Pam knew she opened the flood gates so much??)

I also wanted to say that OO is so conected to The Job that it is scary. Michael's condo is mentioned in both. Pam talks about how Jim could do so much better if only he had more to do. Ryan has a good little future corporate attitude. Dwight talks about Michael having a GF move in ( LOL). The yogurt lids ( which FYI, I am eating a mixed berry yogurt and the tops are not gold.. so no such luck with the top being mixedberry) Jim talks to every person in that office, he establishes a relationship with everyone. At the end of the episode Jim steps up and makes his co-workers feel loved! THAT is the Jim Halpert I feel in love with!! And it took a walk down memory lane to bring him back!!

I took my homeworlk assignment very seriously and watched all three this morning -TA, OO and TJ! It was quite daunting, I assure you. tongue.gif Actually, it was the greatest! The Alliance is the episode that absolutely hooked me, so it has always been my favorite. One thing I noticed that I havent before -- when Pam is in the warehouse, Jim is sitting on the couch talking with Michael about the donations, and he is constantly looking to his right. I never thought anything about this, just that maybe he was watching the other people interact. But in the finale fun trivia contest, one of the questions involved that door between Meredith's and Kevin's desks -- where it leads -- to the warehouse!!! I LOVE that he was watching intently for Pam's return to find out just how well she worked her magic!

Wow! I never knew that was the door to the warehouse! Cool!

I love that I learn something new every day about this show.

The Alliance is in my top 5 for sure. I LOVE Jim/Dwight eps. They are just like brothers who love to get at each other and love each other at the same time.

I wonder if someone really ragged on Dwight if Jim would step up and defend him like a brother. He wasn't in the office when Andy ousted Dwight and it would have been interesting to see if Jim would have fought for Dwight. I know this isn't JAM, but Jim and Dwight are so connected to Pam that I think it counts.

When I do watch S3 again, I'm going to pay attention to the connection between Dwight and Pam. Dwight has really been there for Pam when Jim wasn't. There is a respect between the two of them. Just like the brotherly ties between Jim and Dwight, I see a brother-sister relationship between Dwight and Pam. Pam loves to "play" with Dwight, but will defend him if someone goes against him.

The relationships in this show are so complex and so fun to watch! I'm also looking forward to the brother-sister relationship between Jim and Pam disappearing and turning into something wonderful next season.

I watched OO on Saturday (have to do the Alliance now that it is part of our homework). A couple of things struck me as I paid a lot of attention to the now famous medals. One was the cameraman catching Ryan throwing his away juxtaposed with Jim handling his with much admiration and affection. Wow, Pam could not have sent anything that could have meant more to Jim with the note wishing him luck. And wow, Ryan, never my favorite character but wow, definitely even lower in my estimation now.

Oh, and one of my favorite moments had nothing to do with JAM -- I just love when Jim gets so excited by Phyllis' participation - "Phyllis coming alive... I like it"

I just finished my "homework" and I have to say now that we have The Job, watching TA and OO made me misty eyed. I made a bunch of observations about TA:

-When Dwight questions Jim about him telling Pam about their alliance and Jim tells him he's "using" her to find out information, he tells Dwight that there will be lots of "giggling and chatting". Way to take one for the team, Halpert!

-I love during Jim's TH when he gushes "All her idea...she's so great." I melt every time!

-I love when Jim tells Pam "work your magic." She has for sure on him!

-HCT, I watched that scene with Michael and Jim and the warehouse door very intently this time and I definitely see what you mean! One more reason to just love Jim Halpert!

-Jim's shirt is blue, Pam is in pink.

-OMG, at the end when Jim runs behind Pam's desk to tell her that he convinced Dwight to go to corporate and he has his hands all over her! He holds her hand twice and she is also so into it. This cements the theory that he never felt anything more than friendship for Karen. That scene was so hot, right up through when Roy busts it up and Jim feels all self concscious. Can you just imagine what this "first date" will be like??? wub.gif

The only comment I have for OO besides all the obvious stuff is just it was so touching to see the camaraderie Jim had with all of his office mates and the contrast between that and how he was "not there" in S3. I have no fear though, because I know he's back for S4!

Also, mbf, great catch with noticing Ryan's value of the "medal" in contrast with Jim's value of the "medal".

TPTB did such a great job tying these two special episodes into TJ.

Hey Beeswax, keep the assignments coming, I love them!

*EDIT* Just watched the last scene of TJ again and Jim is definitely holding back tears after he sees Pams note. Can't wait for SB's take on that whole scene!

Yes I paid attention to this too. I love how beautifully they tied in this memento to his journey back to Pam.

One thing I also noticed in OO is when Jim is holding the opening ceremonies, he keeps eye contact with Pam almost the entire time. It is as if he is performing just for her. (I dont want to hear a TWSS tongue.gif)

Yes! I was loving that today!

My favorite pda moment between them (other than the two kisses ) is in The Fight when they are play hitting and she shoulder bumps into him. The look on his face and the way he "absorbs" her punch -- very HOT. Just pause it right there. Oooh la la. Halpert wants her.

Hi. I just watched the office olympics because I wanted to know what the object Pam left on the note meant (I hadn't seen most of that season).

I just wanted to add, so far I think one of my favorite parts, was when Pam asked Angela if she played any games in the office, and Angela tells her she plays one called Pam-Pong where she keeps track of how many times in the day that Jim is at her desk, then through the rest of the episode when Jim is at her desk she's glancing at Angela and sees her writing something down.
