I saw Shrek the Third on the weekend and John was great as Lancelot. I even noticed a bit of a "Jim" face in one scene. I clapped quietly to myself!

They are heading off to the Champagne Tower Suite at Cove Haven in Caesar's Pocono Resort, nestled on a cove of beautiful Lake Wallenpaupack. Picture Jim and Pam in that champagne bath.

It's actually a 2 level suite and the bathroom is located behind it, so you step in from there.

I'm sorry jimswife, but I can only imagine Jim and Pam laughing hysterically at that.

But sharing a laugh is romantic too.... sooo....

I officially need some JAM therapy. I have been really frustrated that John and Jenna aren't dating in real life. It really bothers me. I need to believe that JAM is totally, 100%, completely real!!!

So I googled Jenna's husband, only to find out that he writes low-budget horror movies and, ironically, Scooby Doo. And he looks like Clay Aiken. It is all just so wrong...

I personally think that champagne bath is one of the funniest things I've ever seen...

I am a little bummed about not getting to see their first "official" date. But I'm sure it would be something sort of low key like in "The Client," grilled cheese on the roof of Dunder Mifflin.

I've never really had a problem with them not dating in real life. I mean, they're dating on the show now and we're going to see plenty of episodes that will be ten times better than them being together in real life! Have you ever heard that thing about actors/actresses that have chemistry on set? If a couple are in love in real-life, they'll have no chemistry in front of the camera. If they're not in love in real-life, they'll have lots of chemistry. Would you really want to sacrifice that special spark between Jim and Pan just so John and Jenna can be together?

Wow... I am a guy but feel the need to step in here. That is a horrible picture of James Gunn (we all have some), I have seen photos where he looks the part much better. He seems like a very funky and fun kinda guy. Check out his MySpace page and you will get a bit of a better idea. Give Jenna some credit she wouldn't marry someone that wasn't awesome!!

Realizing that it will get me harshly reprimanded... I think it is really cool that John K. is seeing Rashida. I really like her and think that they make a pretty sweet couple (considering Jenna is not available). It could be worse I heard for a while that he was seeing Renee Zellwe.... Imagine how great J&R could be once John isn't forced to feign indifference towards her!!

EVERY single time I watch the last 5 mins. of last week's show, I involuntarily say under my breath "so cute".
It reminds me of a Billy S. quote "happiness in short measures be". And TJ makes me very, very happy.
Okay, maybe everyone wasn't waiting to hear me say that, but if you're happy and you know it, post your board.

Me and the hubby went there for our honeymoon because we thought it was wonderfully tacky, and it was actually a lot of fun, I still have the brochures and I was looking at them yesterday and noticed that it was on Lake Wallenpaupack, so of course I thought of the Office and figured it'd be a good place for a JAM weekend getaway!
We had the room with the champagne whirlpool but only used it twice, it takes too long to fill with water, but our room also had its own swimming pool and that was fabulous, a we had a round bed and a fireplace and back then the walls were carpeted, so funky!! They have renovated since then and I actually want to go back next Sept for our 15th wedding anniv., I had fun, they have all kinds of stuff to do too, like bike riding and paddle boats, dinner shows, etc. Maybe I should plan it around the Office convention, if they do it again next year, Scranton is not too far away.

jimswife: okay, fine, that actually sounds really cute and romantic. I love kitsch, and I bet that made it so much more fun. I'll begrudgingly agree that Jim and Pam could go there, but only if there is lots of giggling, teasing, and eye-rolling. And then they end up enjoying it a LOT more than they thought they would.

Besides, with a sauna, a private swimming pool, a champagne glass hot tub, a fireplace, a round bed a shower for two, and a massage table all in their room, it's bound to be at least a little bit fun!

It's nice to have some testosterone around her, but could you please cease from using the RJ word in reference to John Krasinski's Love life? It makes all of our hearts hurt a little. Every time I watch TJ I squeal like a little girl and throw a pillow at the wall. It still hasn't gotten old!!! "It's a Date Then"...*giggle*.

Ever since the finale, this show has gone from a quirky little obsession of mine to something I should be institutionalized for. I'm kind of afraid of myself right now.

I need to know how they are spending their Jam-a-versary!!! I am very upset that documentary crew hasn't been secretly stalking them and posting the footage on You Tube. Sigh... off to find more fan-fiction.

Fan fiction will definitely keep us going this summer. I just re-read "Hope" and I'm planning on going back to read "Dazed and Confused in Scranton". I love those two fics!

Oh, and I think some of us need a little therapy regarding the line between tvland and real life. Let's not be dissin' Jenna's hubby. They sound like a great couple. We should just stand in envy of her that she gets to have the love of her life in real life and pretend with John. She's got it made!

As you can see by my number of posts that I am new to this board. I just was wondering if there are any rules on commenting on someones real life. I love reading about JAM but it does make me uncomfortable when I see negative comments about Jenna and Johns real life. I have been on many boards and that usually is crossing the line and not permitted. I am not trying to bad mouth anyone I was just wondering what the protecall is here. I for one can see how much Jenna loves her husband and it makes me happy to see.

Just personally speaking I am fine with not reading one thing related to John's or Jenna's real personal lives. They have a right to their privacy and I just appreciate the great acting and on-screen charisma they share. I am fine with just keeping any talk about them about their characters and Office storyline-related.

I'm sorry if a comment I made offended anyone. That wasn't my intent. I would never bash Jenna, who is just lovely, or her personal life, which is none of my beeswax. I was only joking that her husband wasn't all that attractive in that photo.

Okay I watched the date scene another time (or two). If someone else said this already, I'm sorry. I noticed that when Pam says "everybody loves him" and they cut back to Jim, he nods his head ever so slightly - I didn't notice it before.

Also tonight is The Convention. A very interesting choice to come right after The Job. I think this is the TPTB bringing it back full circle back to Pam going on a date. I also think it is significant as a hint that in fact the convention was the first time Jim learned of Pam calling off the wedding. That's an old debate we haven't kicked around in a dog's age.

I think we all have a lot of fun on this board and that's what it's here for...shameless, guiltless, JAM happy fun times...it's a safe haven from some of the serious debates and issues on the other threads. I come here because I know you all are as deliriously crazy about Jim and Pam (and John and Jenna for that matter).

So, I don't think anything that was said by anyone was meant to offend...it's all part of the funtivites of this board. I don't think there's a need to impart a moratorium on what can/can't be talked about. I think we're all here for the fun and it's all guuuuud! Please don't instill a protocal. We all have rules we follow all day long...I come here so I can say what I want with people who understand my office obsession. This is a happy place...
