BLAH!!!!

I just had to post on the spoiler AA thread, because I've gone and read the ep summaries for the rest of the season.

I hate so much about the things I chose to do.

BUT, the good thing about tonight is that there is a new chap of Squirrel up tonight. I guess that's even stevens.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

What's happening to us Pam. Just days ago we were rays of JAM light and positive energy!

If those silly Office people would just give us a new ep every week filled with Jammy goodness, then maybe we wouldn't be losing it.

It's not freakin' funny, Office bosses!!!

Guys, it has been hard the past day or two since #1 we didnt get a new episode this week and #2 the NBC summaries were out and IMO not looking that great for JAM. I dont know what to think, but I have been very down about the end of the season. However I went to see Blades of Glory tonight and thought how great its going to be when we see Pam dressing up in lingerie for Jim!

I guess I'm not seeing what's so bad about the NBC summaries. Three sentences can't cover a whole episode, especially an hour long one, a lot of good stuff can happen.
Marissa87
Why is everyone sad. I finished my exams today. My summer has officially started and I come here so I can share my happiness with you guys and everyone is all depressed.

*Lets have a Jam group hug*

Think positive. Whether you read the episode overviews or not. JAM will happen by the end of this season!!!

I myself have read the overviews because I am sadly a spoiler junkie. I've seen other stuff too. But hey, lets not jump to conclusions, unless the conclusion is JAM IS GOING TO HAPPEN!

Ok, a glass of wine and a fan fic later . . . I can smile again. Yes, I have been watching vids and just finished McPants -- thank God for time4moxie! It has restored some faith. Just a week ago I was making positive JAM finale chants, so I need to get in that mode again. Maybe I will have a rocking JAM dream tonight or something. Hmmm, can I get time4moxie to author my subconscience?

I know. You never know. And of course those summaries can be very misleading. To be honest, I have been more upset over the non-Jam part of those summaries. The whole idea that Dwight might be getting the Scranton branch - like Gareth did in the UK series - really bothers me. I dont want the balance disrupted between Michael, his management style and the rest of the Scranton workers. I know it is most likely just for the end of Beach through the finale and not lasting, but still.

Let me raise my glass and say Here's to a GREAT Finale!
Marissa87
Here Here! To a great JAM finale!

To all of you people slipping over to the dark side (Negative Nellyville), sing after me:
"Cause you're his cheeseburger, his yummy cheeseburger,
He'll wait for you-oo-o, he'll wait for you, OH!
You are his cheeseburger, his tasty cheeseburger,
He'll wait for you-oo-o, oh he will wait for you..."

Pam is Jim's cheeseburger & he's about to get back in line & pull up to the window. It's all good! (Yeah, you know you're addicted to the Office when you don't have kids & you're singing & quoting Veggie Tales songs b/c they give you JAM hope. wub.gif)

I really have been craving a #2 combo at McDonald's today. I dont know why . . .

^^ OMG today I went and got one just because I had been singing the somg all day!!!

Brainwashing!!
queenofengland
^ laugh.gif Not even kidding, I had a cheeseburger today too! I was singing the song in my head while I was eating. And it was an In N Out cheeseburger, which is exactly the kind of cheeseburger I think Pam is.

I have just four words:

Never, ever give up.

Thanks, SB! We have got to remember those wise words that Michael said on that fateful booze cruise. They are JAM words to live by.

So, it's a new day, a new dawn. I've had a night to sleep on my negative JAM thoughts and I'm feeling good. I have a new take on the ep summaries. If you don't want to know anything about the summaries, don't read this!

So, the summary for Beach Day said that Pam has to watch Jim and Karen have fun. That's the part that made me spiral last night. Now, if we apply SB's theory of the development of FNB, I think that will be the breaking point for Pam. That could be the incident that pushes her to have the big talk with Jim and confess it all. I think we are in for a juicy finale!

I will also post this Gavin De Graw song again because it is the JAM theme song.

Read it, sing it, live it:

We Belong Together

We belong together
Like the open seas and shores
Wedded by the planet force
We've all been spoken for

The hammer may strike, me dead on the ground
A nail to my hand, a cross on his crown
We're done if we're undone
Finished if we are incomplete
As one we are everything
We are everything we need

We belong together
Like the open seas and shores
Wedded by the planet force
We've all been spoken for

What good is a life, with no one to share
The light of the moon, the honor of a swear
We can try to live the way of which you speak
Taste the milk of your mother earth's love
Spread the word of consciousness you see
We are everything we need

We belong together
Like the open seas and shores
Wedded by the planet force
We've all been spoken for

All this indecision
All this independent strength
Still, we've got our hearts on save
We've got our hearts on save

Someday when you're lonely
Sometime after all this bliss
Somewhere lost in emptiness
I hope you find this gift...
I hope you find this gift...
I hope you find this gift.

So basically, since I'm done exams I am back at work all day every day, therefore I can totally have the MB on in the background. What a great day today will be. 5 more days until a new episode!!!

Did you know that The Office message baord is the most active MB in the NBC website (Not including soaps)? I think that just says how awesome we are.LOL
Collapsing_Star
As a non-spoiler person, I'm not sure why there is so much concern. I won't even read NBC's episode summaries. We should realize that JAM is so critical to the success of the show that they won't make anything too crazy happen. I'm not saying that I think everything is going to awesome (12 times) but I don't foresee absolute gloom and doom.

The Negotiation and Safety Training each had some positive momentum so I'm sticking with the good feelings I got from that. Besides, as others have posted, summaries can be misleading and episodes can't be entirely covered in a few sentences.

I'm just looking at where were at now with the main characters in this plot:
Jim - More receptive but still tremendously guarded
Pam - Clear sense of purpose
Karen - Starting to question her current situation in total
Roy - Out of the picture

If you watched Back from Vacation on Thursday, try to remember that it didn't seem like this was possible by the time they aired Safety Training.

Allright, this is from Jenna's latest blog: She doesn't ever give much away, but this doesn't sound gloomy to me.

"Sorry for the repeat of The Office this week. Next week is all new. We have a bunch of new ones coming up. They are all great. My personal favorite is Women's Appreciation. Michael takes all of the ladies to the mall. It's great. But, the one not to be missed is Beach Day. Seriously. Don't miss it."

Hey Obsessed! I'm witnessing the reaction to spoilers on this thread and I'm more convinced than ever that I should continue to stay away!

My relative absence from the boards is the result of being a high school baseball coach. I do miss the boards but my busy schedule is making the time between episodes seem shorter!

Good diversion, that baseball. I live in a family of baseball nuts. I have watched a few MLB games on TV, so it keeps me busy--but also gives me more time on the MB while the men in my house are glued to the TV. Double edged sword. My son plays too, unfortunately he has games on Thursday nights! These next 4 weeks are going to be tricky. I don't own a DVR.

Great to see you in here, CS. You are always the voice of reason. We all need to take stock of where JAM was as of ST and get ready for an exciting ride to the finish line of S3.

We must trust in the power of the JAM force. JAM is what gives a Jammer his or her power. It's an energy field created by all living things. It surrounds us and penetrates us. It binds the galaxy together.

Yipeee! Another Canadian on the boards! We can comisserate together about not being able to see the deleted scenes sad.gif

I love the city of Ottawa. It's so beautiful and full of great things to see and do.
I can't support the Sens, though. I'm a Leafer all the way! Sorry!

I want to try and have a Jim and Pam-Canada connection, so I'm looking for a screen cap of Jim and Pam at the skating rink in the Michael's Birthday ep because the Canadian Flag is hanging in the background. I think I also remember reading somewhere that BJ Novak is half Canadian. I love it!

I should probably post this on the "You know you're an obsessive Office Fan" thread, but I know all of us in JAM Therapy might appreciate it.

Did anyone notice that Pam's new coat that she's wearing is the same colour as the teapot that Jim gave her?

Coincidence? I think not.

This is a sign. Jim and Pam are definitely getting together now.

EverybodyHurts, your siggie pic is pretty awesome yourself! I just spent the last few minutes enjoying it. I never realized how sweetly they looked at each other at that moment. Aaaaaaah true love. wub.gif

I remember SB pointing out Jim's look of love at the end of her ABC analysis. It was such a crappy episode JAMwise, what with him trying to be all "ARM", no time for pranks, and then realizing that he was just fooling himself, and that it wasn't pranks he was avoiding, it was his feelings for Pam. And, hey, this ties into what we've been talking about. ABC was an hour long episode, and it wasn't until the last few moments that we got some great JAM. Will the finale be the same?? I wonder...at least it would explain all the negativity lately. We never know when the best JAM moments will be coming. All I know is, whatever it is, it will be awesome!

Amen sista!

I bought new shoes today, in the name of FNB! Now I'm painting my toenails so I look super fancy!

I had this thought today while driving (like I've said, all of my 'free' time is spent thinking about JAM). Don't we all feel pretty confident FNB is going to feel compelled to tell Jim her feelings before S3 ends? Otherwise, S3 has been a waste b/c it's been all about Pam's transformation into FNB, which includes being honest & courageous. Once Pam tells Jim how she feels, even if he originally rejects her out of fear & thinking those feelings are gone even though they're just buried, the ball is back in HIS court. Doesn't that make you feel good??? B/c we KNOW once the ball is back in Jim's court, it will not take him long to pick it up & run w/ it again. Honestly if he does reject her initially, I think he'll change his mind either the very next episode or later in the same one. And I would be super fine ending S3 just knowing they are finally together. wub.gif (I'm spoiler free, just speculation!)

you know I had to ride 4 hours in a van full of girls... so I thought about JAM a whole lot, and I really did think about this. One of the reasons I have been so worried about S3 is that Pam has had the ball in her court the whole time and I never thought she would do anything with it. I know that if Jim sees that ball in his court he is not going to ignore it for long!! He will pick it up and run with it!!

Now thins have changed... Pam is going to tell Jim she just is... and as much pain as Jim is in and as much dinale as Jim is in once that ball is in his court he is going to not be out of the game for long!!!

For some reason I have this feeling that Pam is going to tell Jim not in the season finale how she feels but in the episode before.. Jim says no because of Fear.. but that ball is in his court!! And by the time the finale comes around next week, and something happens to highlight said ball I think Jim will pick it up and run!! All I want to see is an understanding between Jim and Pam that they both know that they really do have feelings for eachother. As long as they both just look at eachother and know that they can do this and persue a relationship.

I have theroies about what will happen to Jim and Pam in the fianle.. but I would rather try to forget them so that when I do watch the finale I will be blown away!!!

That is exactly what I think will happen too, PH, and that is exactly what I want to see in the finale. Like you said though, the writers always surprise me & blow me away. This time though, I think it will be in a good way. We will find out very soon! biggrin.gif

I missed your pretty red writting wink.gif ( not another wink laugh.gif )

Yes!! we will find out soon.. and I think this time we know where it is going but the writers are going to suprise us in some other way ( which to be honest, Pam telling Jim about her feelings not in the season finale would surprise lots of people)

I also ( thank god.. unlike yesterday) Think it will be on a very good way!! I am on my happy box agian, and it is going to take a HUGE horrible thing to push me of it agian.. No really even if Jim buys Karen a ring ( HA =, that was funny to type, because it would never happen) I will still say that when that screen goes black on the finale we will all be writting love letters to the many people of the office for making our hearts skip beats!!!

I am going to put my money down that Beach Day is going to be one of the HUGE JAM episodes.... really I am taking bets right now!!!

Good theories, PH and Officerules!

Pam is going to let it all out by season's end. The writers have carefully crafted FNB all season and she will be fully realized very soon. I can hardly wait to see Pam truly be honest with herself and Jim. The ball will bounce into Jim's court and I think he will be so surprised that he won't know what to do with it at first. But, we all know Jim and how talented he is at basketball. He will take that ball and slam dunk it.

Is it crazy that I want to have a time machine and go forward each Thursday for the next four weeks just so I can see that our JAM will be fine? I know patience is a virtue, but this is Jim and Pam we're talking about!

I completely agree with this line of thinking. I think enough is enough at this point, and that the writers know how many people will be severely let down if they don't get Jim and Pam to hash it out before this season ends. I do not believe they are cruel and I do believe they want to keep fans, not drive them away.

Thanks Beeswax! I love what you added! Let's keep up this positive JAM energy next week. Even if we don't have a super JAM ep on Thurs, I refuse to get discouraged. cool.gif

Uh, you remember who you're talking to? I go back & forth b/t wanting the next 4 weeks to race by & trying to sit back & enjoy the ride. Either way, I am glad it's almost here & will surely be a little sad on 5/18. I just hope, hope, HOPE that it turns out the way we hope it will so we'll have great things to discuss & awesome fanfic to read all summer!!! wub.gif

I like the way you are thinking OR!

I have a feeling there won't be too much JAM in the next ep, but it doesn't matter. JAM is on it's way. I can feel it in the air. Although I don't know what will happen, I think we should all be excited about the Beach Games ep. I think that one will be a big one. I was so down when I read the summary for it, but now that I've given it some thought (and Jenna has told us not to miss that one) I think it's going to be huge for Pam.

Here's another song for us to sing. Originally "Love is in the Air", I've changed it to suit our purposes.

JAM is in the Air

JAM is in the air
Everywhere I look around
JAM is in the air
Every sight and every sound

And I don't know if I'm being foolish
Don't know if I'm being wise
But it's something that I must believe in
And it's there when I look in Pam's eyes

JAM is in the air
In the whisper of the trees
JAM is in the air
In the thunder of the sea

And I don't know if I'm just dreaming
Don't know if I feel sane
But it's something that I must believe in
And it's there when Pam calls out Jim's name

(Chorus)
JAM is in the air
JAM is in the air
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh

JAM is in the air
In the rising of the sun
JAM is in the air
When the day is nearly done

And I don't know if JAM's an illusion
Don't know if I see it true
But JAM's something that I must believe in
And JAM's there when I reach out for you

JAM is in the air
Every sight and every sound
And I don't know if I'm being foolish
Don't know if I'm being wise

But it's something that I must believe in
And it's there when Pam looks in Jim's eyes
