Starting a new (old) topic. This IS Jam Therapy, so I feel okay letting this out here...

I am starting to get really, really bummed about all the posting going on (specifically on SB's hypothesis thread and that blasted NYC Pix thread.) There is a vibe out there that JAM will not happen this season..AND PEOPLE SEEM TO BE OKAY WITH THAT!!!! I am NOT okay with that. I know I am impatient, but am I being unrealistic? Is everyone else out there so cool and collected that they can wait until 'Christmas' or even 'the end of S4'? I feel like a little kid stamping my feet, jumping up and down, throwing a JAM tantrum. What's the dealio???

I'm with you OfficeObsessed. I will not be okay with it if SOMETHING doesn't happen before this season is over. It's pretty freakin' un-funny already! Are they both absolutely 100% at the perfect places in their lives at this very moment? No. Are they both two grown adults who have deep rooted feelings for each other that NEED to be addressed? Yes. Will them getting together ruin this fantastic show? NO! Will them not getting together be a great disservice to each other, their fans and all of mankind? YES!

Serenity now, OfficeObsessed!! Trust me, no one will complain if there's a happy ending at the end of the season (TWSS ), but we need to be prepared for the possibility that there might not be. Let's think about worst-case scendarios...a nuclear incident in Scranton, alien invasion, a Karen/Jim pregnancy...there are lots of horrible ways for them to end the season and kill their fan-base. But look back at season 2. When Jim made his grand gesture, the world was stunned! But the bottom line is, we would have watched without it. As amazing as casino night was, I would be happy with a season full of Office Olympics and Michael's Birthdays. There is joy in the journey, my friend. Keep smiling!

5. Each acknowledging their love for each other TO each other (must be looking into each other's eyes when this happens.)

I guess I could live within these parameters. BUT, no waiting until Christmas!!!

I posted my theory already on the Hypothesis thread, but I really really think that we will be left with an understanding between JAM. I seriously think they will get together in the summer, off camera, and we will come back into S4 with a "going steady" JAM.

I'm thinking this because that seems to be the way the writers operate. Think of all that went down last summer without us seeing it. Jim leaving Pam and Scranton, Pam cancelling her wedding. I can see this season ending with Jim and Pam together in some form, and then we will see some delicious JAM in full swing next season.

I hope I'm not wrong, and I could be. This show always likes to throw us for a loop. But for now, to keep my JAM sanity in tact, I've got to believe that there will some kind of resolve by season's end. I'm also clinging to Jenna's hints about the finale, a lot of awesome ground will be covered.

We're down to the final four, people! We've got to believe in the power of JAM!

I agree with your demands OfficeObsessed and would like to add:
6. Pam tells Jim EVERYTHING - how she wasn't being truthful with him on CN, that he did not misinterpret things, that she backed off because she was scared, not because she rejected HIM!

7. Pam apologizes to Jim for a) sending him mixed signals not contacting him at all after CN, her complete and utter silence on what just so happened to happen between them and the minor detail of her cancelling her wedding.

8. Jim apologizes to Pam for not being her true friend for the past year and tells her how much he has missed being a part of her life.

9. They hug.

I agree that I dont want to wait til Christmas either, but I would just like to have some forward motion towards Jam. That is enough for me as far as the finale goes. Forward motion.

OfficeObsessed, those are all AWESOME demands, and I want to see them too, but if we get them at the end of season 3, doesnt that mean we'll miss out on the first beginnings of their relationship? (At least three months of it!) I have a lot more patience for Jam now, just thinking that if they can START season 4 or mid-season 4 with the beginnings of Jam, we'll get to see Jim and Pam discovering what it's like to be together. I wouldn't want to miss out on that for anything!

I miss Jim and Pam's longing glances!!! Bring those back!!!

OK, here's my finale list:

1. Pam tells Jim what the dealio is -- she loves him, he's been an @ss, she was an @ss before that, etc

2. Jim tells Karen to take her ****y butt to NY or Kentucky, just anywhere but here.

3. Jim and Pam get to 2nd base in the conference room.

4. Pam draws a Titanic-esque nude illustration of Jim lying across his desk.

5. Jim shows up outside Pam's apartment holding a boom box over his head just for good measure.

6. And for the last scene, Pam gives Karen a kick in the pants and a Texas t!tty twister.

All feasible. We have an hour after all.

Okay OO... I agree with all but one... I don't think there will be any physical contact except maybe a small hug.

Now, no matter what we are going to miss out on 3 months of something. Read my 3 huge posts on the JP and you will see just how messed up Jim is. Now I can see Pam by his side reinforcing him that she will always be by his side.. but it is going to take at least 3 months for Jim to heal from all his wonds.. but who says Pam can not be right next to him the whole way? Jim needs to deal with the mess he made inside himself before he can have a healthy and sable relationship.. and if I have to wait until S4 for Jim to be in a stable state I will because that means that JAM will be stable and strong.. if they get together right now Jim's unstable self concept would just make the relationship uneven.... As to where if Pam gives him 3 months to cort it out with the promise that she will wait for him, and Jim saying he would like that just give him time.. them I could give him time knowing that at the end of that time JAM will be a much more happy stable relationship.

I might go pull some of those posts on the JP over here if need be.. I have to see if I have the energy!

I'd like to also add that S3 should end with a quadruple wedding ceremony uniting Michael and Jan, Jim and Pam, Dwight and Angela, and Ryan and Kelly in holy matrimony. Oh, and Creed can give all of the girls away and of course, Kev and his band will play. But I want Kev's band to change from a Police cover band to a Duran Duran cover band.

I agree with most of the posts about confessions from Pam and Jim. Karen can just beat it! I am utterly EXCITED for tomorrow and the next coming weeks. I will miss the season finale because of a gig in San Antonio, but I have promised to figure out how to use my VCR to tape the show so that I can watch it when I get home.

All I want is Jim and Pam to stop being so d*mned depressed. It's depressing me.

So however it happens I want...

1) The light to come back in Jim and Pam's eyes.
2) Jim and Pam being comfortable with each other again.
3) Jim and Pam making googely eyes and smiling at each other again.
4) Jim and Pam being a team again.
5) Jim single.
6) Pam single.

I think that I can handle Jim and Pam not being a couple (for a little while) if I could get all those things.

You know the more I think about it the more I DON'T want them to get together at the end of this season. I mean, I'm not oppossed to it, but I don't want to be cheated out of any minute. Like Queen said if they get together at the end of this season than we will miss the first 3 months of their relationship. I think I would rather season 3 end with the knowledge that Jim and Pam are still in love with each other and that they are definitely heading in that direction but they need sometime. Then, that 3 months we miss could be the ackward period of them getting comfortable around each other again. So that when we return in the fall they will be back (almost) to season 2 terms again. Then we can just sit back and enjoy them finding their way to each other.

That at the very end of the finale we see that Jim has moved back to his old desk and that will be a subtle sign that Jim and Pam will find away back to each other next season.

OK, so this is my demand for the finale...
Pam and Jim get in another JINX situation, only this time it is Pam who can't talk. Jim is sitting across from her and says, "Pam, you can tell me anything." And instead of looking sad and dejected because she can't profess her love, she tells him what we have all been waiting for her to say all season...

Another day gone and another three pages to catch up on. Didin't get my Lost on, BUT I watched Office episodes with my friend who I am trying to get hooked on the show...and guys..i think it's WORKING! woo!!!

Seriously though, tomorrow night I'm going to die of happiness. The show is less than 24 hours away, and if you minus, sleep is 8 hours, plus getting ready for work, plus work which brings me to 5:30pm, and then dinner, which is like 1 1/2...that leaves.... an 1 1/2 hour wait...maybe I'll have a shower, or go for a run or something, but really, there is basically no time left until a new episodeee!!!
