Season Finale:

Jim is asleep at his desk (he died of boredom) and wakes up...looks over at Pam and realizes S3 was all a bad dream (à la Dallas)! S4 starts off where S2 ended and Pam and Jim are together and and in love!

When he first speaks, he tells Pam he had the strangest dream where he went to a far away place and there was an evil witch there who tried to take him away from her! He then says to her "There's no place like Scranton."

Another newbie here... I will go post on the DeLurking thread, but wanted my first post to be HERE, where I spend all my time!

Thank you to all of you for the Therapy; I was starting to go nuts. Even dreaming about JAM... sigh, who wants to wake up to screaming kids after that?

I just want to say how vile it was when Dwight as "Jim" asked Karen if she wanted to have sexual intercourse. Pam was right there and I don't even remember what Jim or Karen said after that, I was still reeling. But I'm sick to my stomach. I still like to think that all Jim and Karen do is stay up having long talks about ~~Karen's~~ their feelings at night. I have some very unpleasant pictures in my head right now and I'm sure Pam does too.

I can't say this on the thread of tonights episode...to many non-Jammers but I hope it was the drought before the storm with Pam/Jim tonight.

Also, I took the whole sexual intercourse thing as Dwight asking her if she would like to have sexual intercourse with him as Jim (not really but trying to act cool) and Jim saying to Karen, "would you?" like to have sex with Dwight. I laughed my head off.

Because we are! This has happened more than once, where there's a episode or two that doesn't have much Jim and Pam, only to be followed by episodes that are (please forgive me for the pun) jam packed with JAM. I still think we all need to be patient, and at least wait for credits for the finale before we really start loosing the "JAM hope."

Still, the no-JAM in this episode makes me appreciate how much there was in Safety Training (even if it felt kind of out of place).

I can see a few of you are upset about the sex comment from Dwight. Not to worry, please read my post above.

I personally loved this ep, probably because it had lots of Jim in it AND it had Jwight and Jandy. They are my 2nd and 3rd fave couples on The Office.

We have discussed the virtue of patience here, and I know it's been a long wait for these two to get together, but it WILL happen. Just sit back and enjoy the ride. It's like driving to Florida. You have to drive for a long time through a lot of states (some rougher than others), but eventually, you'll get to the happiest place on Earth...Disneyworld.

Oh, and if you live in Florida, well, this may not apply. Sorry!

Um, DisneyWORLD is in Metropolitan Orlando.

But you are totally right. The patience and the build up will be well worth it. Yes it was lacking that vibe that makes us *squee* with Jim and Pam lovliness. But then again, so has most of the season. All will be well with the world soon enough.

I actually didn't mind the JAM-lessness in this episode too badly, probably because I was laughing so hard the entire time.

I think the last three episode are going to be pretty JAM packed, although I have a feeling that the next two might bring us down to that familiar bottom before we finally hit the top in the season finale.

There's still hope for JAM in this season! Clap your hands if you believe.
